I was traveling via aerodactyl. Honestly I am very happy to have been able to recruit a grass type elite. I don't think there are many grass type elite in the pokemon league history. Grass type pokemon are better for more tactical approach which is really difficult for beginner trainers and so there popularity is less than other. But if one get to know how to use them in battle they will prove to be as much a tank as other popular types.
Currently I was flying above the orange isle. They also are part of kanto but are estranged compared to other region. I was about to head back when I saw some kids in the island bullying a pokemon. Strangely it was white and there are few kanto native pokemon that are purely white.
Anyway I went to stop the kids.
"HAHAHAHA what a pathetic pokemon."
"Such a loser"
"Ew so gross."
'Ah these kids are now pissing me off.'
"Oi kids back off. Stop bullying it or I might have to have a talk with your parents." I said coldly. They turned around irritated but were scared seeing aerodactyl.
"We aren't scared of you, you-"
"Grrr" Aerodactyle growled in anger. He too was pissed at these kids. That was enough to make them scared and run for there life.
I turned to see a odd color magikarp. It was completely white. I picked it up, it certainly was very weak and injured. I immediately sprayed potion on it and did the basic medication. He was scared of me but too injured to move.
"Don't worry magikarp, I will take you to nurse joy immediately." I said to it gently. I went to pokemon centre while on aerodactly. Unfortunately this island did not have pokemon centre so aerodactly flew to another island at her highest speed. After all it was just a tourist island and rarely any pokemon were that severly injured.
Magikarp kept groaning in pain.
"Its okay magikarp, its okay." I said to it. Unfortunately Nelly inventory did have advance medecine but nelly was not doctor herself so taking magikarp to nurse joy is the only way.
"Aerodactyl, darling please try to fly faster" I said worried
Aerdactyl flew faster, but then halted. There was a storm ahead. Aerodactyl was a rock type pokemon. She was trembling in fear seeing the rain, he was a predator but he was also a rock type pokemon.
"Go fearow." I sent out fearow and climbed on him.
"You did good aerodactly." I said smiling gently while retrieving her.
"Fearow fly as fast as possible." I said. Fearow nodded and flied ahead.
Third pov-
The wind screamed, tearing at the edges of their clothes, and rain hammered down with the force of thrown stones. Regina, clung tight to the back of her Fearow, its sharp talons gripping the turbulent air for dear life.
"Hold steady, Fearow! Just a little further!" Regina yelled over the roar of the storm, burying her face against the Fearow's coarse neck feathers. The giant bird was a powerhouse, its wings beating tirelessly against the heavy, dark clouds, but even it was struggling, buffeted side-to-side by the ferocious gusts.
Tucked securely inside Regina's oversized, raincoat was Magikarp. It was barely moving, its unique white scales scratched, breathing weakly.
Regina shifted slightly, wincing as a particularly violent lightning flash lit up the sky. "We can't lose him, Fearow. He needs the Pokemon Center now."
They weren't flying for a trophy or a battle; they were flying for a life. Every lurch and drop of the Fearow's flight was a punch to Kai's gut, but they kept their focus fixed on the flickering light of the nearest island, pushing the giant bird through the blinding rain, driven solely by the frantic hope of getting the little, severely injured fish to the hospital in time.
---
The moment Fearow dropped below the storm clouds and landed heavily on the small, grassy pad outside the Poké-Center, the energy shifted from panicked flight to frantic urgency.
Regina didn't waste a second. She slid off Fearow's back, her legs stiff and shaking from the cold and the long, turbulent journey.
"Fearow, great job," Regina whispered, giving the exhausted bird a quick, reassuring pat before turning and sprinting toward the bright, welcoming glow of the hospital entrance.
They burst through the automatic doors, soaking wet, dripping rain, and utterly winded. The lobby was warm and smelled faintly of antiseptic and clean linen—a stark contrast to the chaos outside.
A Nurse Joy, her pink hair neatly tied and her demeanor calm despite the sudden intrusion, looked up immediately. She took one look at Reginat and the desperate state of the bundled creature she were holding, and instantly understood.
"Nurse Joy! We need help! It's a Magikarp, he was badly hurt as some kids were attacking him!" Regina gasped out, unwrapping the little fish, whose labored gills fluttered weakly.
Nurse Joy didn't hesitate. "Right this way! Put him gently on the trolley, please."
Regina carefully laid the Magikarp onto a small, soft examination trolley. Nurse Joy quickly scanned the fish with a small, handheld device. Her expression was grave.
"Severe blunt force trauma and heavy scale abrasion. He's suffering from shock and dehydration. This is critical," she stated, already pushing the trolley toward the Emergency Treatment wing. "We need to stabilize his vitals immediately."
Regina stood frozen for a moment, watching the tiny, wounded Pokémon being wheeled away. Their own heart was still pounding from the fearow flight, but now a cold dread settled in. Fearow, having followed them inside, nudged Regina's shoulder gently, a warm presence against the cold exhaustion.
A Chansey assistant came over with a towel. "You must be freezing. Let us take care of him. You can wait in the recovery lounge."
Regina nodded silently, accepting the towel. They were here. They had risked the storm, and they had made it. Now, all they could do was wait and hope that their desperate flight hadn't been too late.
