Using the Sharingan's genjutsu, Chinya entered the mental space of Uzumaki Miyuki and the Nine-Tails.
The struggling Nine-Tails glared at Chinya's Mangekyo Sharingan, its crimson beast eyes narrowing.
"It's actually the cursed clan's power—the Mangekyo Sharingan—here again!"
Looking into the Nine-Tails' eyes, Chinya said, "Isn't it perfectly normal for me to come here with my Mangekyo? What's so surprising about that?"
"You think you can help her keep me imprisoned? Don't dream!"
The Nine-Tails thrashed violently once more; one of the three remaining chains snapped.
"Genjutsu: Mangekyo Sharingan!"
Chinya's Mangekyo Sharingan spun rapidly. The Nine-Tails' eyes transformed to mirror Chinya's Mangekyo pattern after falling under the genjutsu.
"Now! Chain it back up and seal it away!"
Regaining focus, Uzumaki Miyuki cast [Adamantine Sealing Chains] again. The three chains previously broken by the Nine-Tails wrapped around it once more, and the iron gate slowly closed, successfully re-sealing the Nine-Tails.
The sealing had been risky, but in the end, it went smoothly.
Chinya knew full well that even without his help, the sealing wouldn't have gone wrong.
Because after the Nine-Tails was drawn into Uzumaki Miyuki's body, the sealing had already succeeded.
It was just that since she had just become a jinchuriki, part of the tailed beast's Chakra remained inside her.
The Nine-Tails tried to use this unsealed fragment of its Chakra along with its own strength to break free from confinement.
But the [Eight Trigrams Sealing Style] wasn't something easily broken—it carried ancient power and divine protection.
Once this portion of the tailed beast's Chakra was exhausted, Uzumaki Miyuki would naturally return to normal.
However, just this small amount of residual Chakra allowed Uzumaki Miyuki to manifest five tails, so casualties were inevitable during that time.
Chinya released the genjutsu. The Nine-Tails noticed the tailed beast Chakra within Uzumaki Miyuki's body had vanished—it had completely lost its chance to escape its cage—and roared in fury.
"Don't think this cage will hold me forever. If I get another chance, I'll escape! And I'll wipe every single one of you off the face of the earth!"
Chinya didn't immediately respond. Instead, he turned his gaze toward Uzumaki Miyuki. His Mangekyo Sharingan transformed back into the triple tomoe Sharingan, and he cast a genjutsu upon her.
Uzumaki Miyuki collapsed onto the ground.
Chinya stared icily at the Nine-Tails. "You think threats like that scare anyone? Save it for someone who cares. Once kept under control by both Madara Uchiha and Hashirama Senju and caged for years, now placed in another cage—you really dare speak with such arrogance?"
The Nine-Tails furiously rammed against its prison bars. "Damn Uchiha brat! Don't think I don't know those two are dead—I'll escape this prison someday!"
Chinya's eyes shifted back to the Mangekyo Sharingan. Gazing at the Nine-Tails with icy intent, he threatened, "I am not one of the Uchiha. Should you continue to raise hell here, I'll destroy the fate-chosen child destined for your tailed beast brethren—Kurama!"
Shock flashed across the Nine-Tails' fox face. "Why?"
"How do you know about the Fated Child? And why do you know my name?"
Chinya sneered, "The Heki-eyed boy who dares laugh and call out the Nine-Tails' name, right? Try calling me that damned Uchiha brat again. Let's see if you dare—and let's see if I dare."
The Nine-Tails suddenly fell silent for a moment, staring solemnly at Chinya. "What exactly do you know? Where did you learn all this from?"
Chinya replied bluntly, "Save your questions. You should already know I won't tell you anything. Just understand this: I know everything about you Tailed Beasts—including your origins."
The Nine-Tails was shocked once more. "You even know our origins?!"
Chinya continued calmly, "What? Don't believe me? I'll say just two words: [Ten-Tails]. Now, you should believe me, right?"
The Nine-Tails' body trembled slightly, and his gaze toward Chinya completely changed.
An eerie silence filled the air, broken only by the Nine-Tails' heavy breathing.
After a while, the Nine-Tails stared seriously at Chinya and asked, "So now, why are you seeking me out? Are you here to help this woman control me? Since I've been sealed already, yet you haven't left, there must be something you want from me."
Chinya nodded. "Not bad for someone who's lived so many years. I'm not one to leave things unpaid. Rather than acting hastily when the time comes, I prefer preparing everything in advance—and believe it or not, it might actually work out in your favor too."
The Nine-Tails wrinkled his entire fox face. "Benefit?"
"Exactly," Chinya answered. "I suppose you probably don't know yet—someone has already set their eyes on you Tailed Beasts. They plan to target each of you, intending to capture all of them within just a few years."
The Nine-Tails mocked, "Capture us? Isn't it just about using us as weapons? What difference does that make from my current situation?"
Chinya shook his head. "Of course, there's a difference. The current Rinnegan wielder has already summoned the Demonic Statue of the Outer Path [a powerful ancient relic connected with the Sage of Six Paths]. I think you understand what that means, right?"
The Nine-Tails gasped in disbelief. "Could it mean someone wants to revive it?!"
"Correct," Chinya confirmed. "Therefore, your danger has begun. But rest assured—you won't be next for about another decade or so."
The Nine-Tails asked sternly, "Then what about you? You still haven't told me what you really want."
Chinya replied, "Right now, I don't want anything from you. However, I will place a transcribed seal inside Uzumaki Miyuki's eyes. In a couple of years—or perhaps three—their current Jinchuriki will encounter a crisis.
This crisis is extremely important—not just for you, but for all the Tailed Beasts, since it relates directly to the future child you've all been waiting for.
By then, I may still be in Konoha, or perhaps no longer there. When the crisis occurs, I hope you can help your Jinchuriki survive it."
The Nine-Tails didn't respond immediately. Helping humans was worse to him than dying.
Chinya teased mockingly, "Unwilling?"
"If it weren't for the debt I owe you as your Jinchuriki, I wouldn't even bother with you people. You hate humanity—I hate you just the same. If you want to enter the Demonic Statue of the Outer Path and become the sacrifice for reviving the Ten-Tails, then go ahead as you please."
Nine-Tails was silent for a while before saying, "Fine, I'll go along with this—for now."
Chinya snorted, "Don't act like I'm begging you. Understand your place—you're nothing but my prisoner."
The Nine-Tails' eyes burned with renewed fury as he glared at Chinya.
But Chinya simply smirked at the fox before pulling out of Uzumaki Miyuki's mental space.
