Piccolo, with his Namekian-enhanced vision and hearing, was the first to realize the truth about Lynx.
The five of them hadn't lasted even a round against Broly. There was no way Lynx alone should have been able to hold out this long.
As it turns out, Lynx had come prepared. Before the mission, he'd stocked up on a large supply of Senzu Beans from Korin of his own universe.
Contrary to the impression from the original timeline—where Senzu Beans always seemed scarce—Korin Tower actually had barrels full of them. The scarcity only came later, thanks to Yajirobe, who treated the Senzu Beans like snack food and ate them all day.
In Lynx's timeline, Yajirobe hadn't yet shown up, and Korin, having partnered with Lynx, had expanded Senzu Bean cultivation. At this point, Lynx carried hundreds of them.
"Huh? Lynx has Senzu Beans? Why didn't he give us any?" Goku frowned.
"Maybe… maybe Mr. Lynx's using them to boost his power?" Gohan speculated.
"Boosting power? Ah! I completely forgot about that method!" Goku slapped his forehead.
Saiyans grow stronger after surviving near-death experiences. Goku and Vegeta had both used this trait before to rapidly power up.
But Vegeta scoffed.
"Fools. That only works for unseasoned Saiyans. Our bodies have long since been honed to the limit. That trick won't help us anymore."
If Lynx were listening, he'd have clapped for Vegeta.
He'd already been on the verge of death multiple times in this fight with Broly and had eaten over a dozen Senzu Beans—but the power boosts had been minimal.
Even with the Super Saiyan multipliers, the increase was barely a few hundred thousand—almost negligible compared to Broly's absurd strength.
This was something Lynx only learned today. In his original timeline, ever since he'd fused with the bloodline of the Legendary Super Saiyan, he'd never been pushed this close to death—until now.

A beam of light streaked across the horizon, gouging a hundred-meter-wide trench in the earth. A massive energy orb exploded in its wake, carving a crater over a kilometer in diameter.
The explosion raged for several seconds before finally fading.
But as the dust began to settle—Broly suddenly heard a voice.
"Ka… me… ha… me…"
"HAAA!!"
Lynx appeared before him again, arms thrust forward, unleashing a massive Kamehameha that engulfed Broly completely.
But when the light faded…
Broly tilted his head and smirked.
"Didn't I already tell you? It's useless."
"Death Beam!"
Lynx's fingers glowed as he launched a flurry of thin, deadly golden energy beams—Frieza's signature attack.
The deadly rays crisscrossed into a net of light, all aimed at Broly's vital points.
Each beam carried enough power to pierce solid rock and tear through flesh.
But none of them even scratched Broly.
They were stopped mid-air—by a glowing gold-green aura shield that surrounded him.
"A barrier?!"
Lynx's pupils shrank.
His expression twisted with bitterness.
"Then how about this one? Planet Destruction!!"
"WHAT?!"
From afar, the others gasped in shock as Lynx raised a hand, summoning a massive purple energy sphere overhead.
Everyone there instantly recognized it.
"Isn't that… Frieza's technique?!"
"Who cares how he learned it—Gohan, Piccolo, Vegeta, Trunks! Grab onto me!" Goku shouted.
There was no time to escape by ship. If Lynx used the Planet Destruction, the planet could be destroyed in an instant. The only hope was for Goku to teleport them out.
"Don't touch me, Kakarot! I don't need your help!" Vegeta slapped Goku's hand away.
"Dad!" "Vegeta!"
As chaos unfolded on the sidelines, Lynx hurled the Planet Destruction at Broly.
This time, he held nothing back.
If the planet was destroyed—so be it. Lynx could survive in space.
As for the others, they could always be revived with the Namekian Dragon Balls later.
There could be no hesitation when facing a monster like Broly.
Broly sneered at the incoming orb, confidently reaching out to swat it aside.

But the moment his palm made contact—his expression changed.
Frieza's Planet Destruction was a technique that condensed all energy into a singularity.
Lynx had packed everything he had into this one move.
Even Broly, caught off guard, couldn't take it lightly.
The orb slammed into him like a meteor, launching him backward like a missile.

Broly crashed into the ground and was buried deep beneath the surface, his momentum carving a path straight through the crust.
For the first time—his face twisted in genuine rage.
He had never taken damage like this before.
"BASTARD!"
Suddenly, Broly halted his descent, roared, and pushed upward—both arms extended.
He caught the Planet Destruction and shoved it skyward with a thunderous cry.

The orb burst from the ground like a rocket and shot into the upper atmosphere.
Moments later—
The skies turned white.
A blinding light, brighter than the sun, scorched the clouds.
A deafening roar split the heavens. The shockwave ripped through the air, leaving everyone reeling.
When the smoke finally cleared…
Lynx's eyes widened in disbelief.
Sweat beaded on his forehead.
"No way…"
From the massive crater, Broly slowly rose, panting heavily.
There was not a single wound on his body.
And more terrifying—
His ki had actually increased again.
Another 5 million.
"Damn… I really screwed up this time."
At that moment, Lynx couldn't help but regret the choices he'd made.
If he had known just how broken the Legendary Super Saiyan truly was, he'd have chosen a different mission altogether.
Did I really just drop a mountain on my own foot…?
