Chapter 51 - Chapter 51: The Legendary Super Saiyan — To New Planet Vegeta

As the unknown aliens rushed toward them, everyone in the group tensed, bracing themselves for battle.

Everyone—except Vegeta, who stood there with his arms crossed and a look of utter disdain.

He could sense it—these aliens weren't even worth the effort.

And he was right.

Beep—beep—beep. Lynx checked his scouter. Each one of them had a power level hovering around 1,000. Just cannon fodder.

But right as the aliens closed the distance, they all suddenly dropped to their knees in perfect sync.

"We greet you, Prince Vegeta!"

"Huh?" Vegeta narrowed his eyes. "Who the hell are you? What do you want?"

"We've been searching for you, Prince Vegeta!" came a voice from the back—one that LynxA found vaguely familiar.

A Saiyan stepped forward from behind the kneeling aliens—Paragus, from this world.

"You're a Saiyan?" Vegeta scoffed.

"Yes! My name is Paragus."He knelt on one knee before Vegeta.

"We've come to invite Your Highness to rule over New Planet Vegeta."

"New Planet Vegeta?" Vegeta echoed, frowning.

"Indeed," Paragus continued. "After our home world was destroyed by Frieza, I sought to rebuild it. A new haven for our race—a place where the Saiyans, the greatest warrior race in the universe, can rise again!"

"But I cannot do it alone. Only under your leadership, Prince Vegeta, can our people thrive again!"

"Tch."

Vegeta turned his back, clearly uninterested.

"The so-called 'Saiyan pride' is nothing but ancient history," he muttered. "I've got no interest in ruling over ghosts."

Seeing that Vegeta was ready to walk away, Paragus played his next card.

"Wait, Prince Vegeta! Even if you have no desire to rebuild our empire… surely you're interested in defeating the Legendary Super Saiyan?"

That made Vegeta stop in his tracks.

"Legendary Super Saiyan?"

"Yes! A terrifying Saiyan warrior has emerged in the Southern Galaxy—with overwhelming power. He's destroyed countless planets already. Even New Planet Vegeta is at risk if we don't stop him!"

"As the Prince of all Saiyans… surely you can't ignore this threat to our kind?"

"A so-called 'Legendary' Super Saiyan, huh?" Vegeta smirked and turned around. "Now that... sounds interesting. Fine, I'll go see this monster for myself."

As Vegeta strode toward the spaceship, Future Trunks rushed to intercept him.

"Dad, don't fall for it! A 'Legendary Super Saiyan'? Come on. We are Super Saiyans!"

"What?" Paragus blinked in confusion.

"HAAA!!"

With a shout, Trunks powered up—his aura flaring gold as he transformed into a Super Saiyan.

Lynx took the chance to scan Trunks's power level with his system.

He had previously analyzed everyone's base strength and discovered that while this was a different timeline, their power scaling was still roughly the same.

Even Vegeta's base power level was only around 1.5 million, comparable to Lynx's own.

This was consistent with the Cell Saga era. Despite how absurdly high power levels were portrayed later, Lynx had always suspected the numbers weren't as astronomical as fans imagined.

The stronger you got, the slower your gains became. Just like now—Vegeta had the strength to beat Second Form Cell, but his base was still only 1.5 million.

That said, there was one thing bothering Lynx:

He couldn't yet confirm how much stronger this world's Super Saiyan transformation made someone. If the multiplier was different from his own world's... that could be dangerous.

But as soon as his system scanned Trunks, he was relieved.

22 million. Trunks's base was 1.1 million—meaning the transformation gave the same 20x multiplier as in Lynx's universe.

"See?" Trunks said. "My dad and I can both go Super Saiyan. So what's the big deal with this 'legendary' guy?"

Paragus stared in stunned silence, glancing between Trunks and Vegeta. But then, regaining his composure, he smiled.

"You must be Prince Trunks, heir of Planet Vegeta. Indeed, you look every bit the Super Saiyan… but I assure you, the warrior ravaging the Southern Galaxy is different."

"What do you mean?" Vegeta narrowed his eyes.

"Prince Vegeta," Paragus said solemnly. "The Saiyan I speak of… is the one spoken of in legend. A once-in-a-millennium warrior—the embodiment of destruction. According to survivors, his aura isn't gold… but greenish-yellow. And his power is unlike anything I've ever seen."

"Hmph… fascinating," Vegeta muttered. "Alright, Paragus. Take me to this New Planet Vegeta. I'll see for myself what your so-called 'Legendary Super Saiyan' is made of."

He walked straight into the ship without a moment's hesitation.

"Legendary or not, he's still just another Saiyan. You think I'd be scared of that? I'm Super Vegeta now. The strongest in the universe!"

"Dad, wait!" Trunks called after him, trying to reason further.

But Paragus intercepted.

"Prince Trunks, why don't you come too? You'll see the truth with your own eyes."

"Ugh..."

Trunks hesitated.

That's when Lynx stepped forward.

"Trunks. I'll go with you. I've been curious about this Legendary Super Saiyan myself."

"Mr. Lynx?"

"Lynx...?" Paragus's eyes widened. "You're a Saiyan too?"

"That's right." Lynx crossed his arms coolly. "A lone Saiyan, wandering through time and space. Got a problem with that?"

"Not at all! The reborn Saiyan kingdom welcomes all our kin—especially those without a home!" Paragus grinned.

And so, Lynx followed Vegeta aboard the ship.

Trunks, worried about his father, had no choice but to come along.

Tagging along by accident were a handful of familiar faces: Master Roshi, who drunkenly stumbled onto the ship in a haze… and got Gohan, Krillin, and Oolong dragged in with him.
