Chapter 40 - Chapter 40: Resurrection — The Two Planetary Dragons!

"So this… is Namek?"

When Kami laid eyes on Planet Namek for the first time, his body trembled uncontrollably.

A sense of familiarity surged from deep within his soul, making him instinctively take a deep breath.

Even the air seemed filled with a nostalgic scent.

"Come on, Kami. I'll take you to meet the Grand Elder."

Lynx gently patted Kami on the shoulder and flew with him toward the Grand Elder's dwelling.

Not long after, Kami came face-to-face with the first Namekian he'd ever seen in his life—aside from King Piccolo.

Welcoming them was the Grand Elder's guardian: Nail.

He gave Lynx a bow and said:

"It's been a long time, Mr. Lynx. The Grand Elder sent me to welcome back a child of Namek."

What followed was a warm and touching reunion—Kami learning about his origin.

The Grand Elder explained that Kami was the child of a Namekian named Katas, who had sent him away to Earth during the great climate catastrophe that once struck Namek.

Meanwhile, Lynx simply stood by in silence, observing the heartfelt scene.

After they caught up, the Grand Elder finally turned to Lynx:

"Mr. Lynx, I presume you've come this time for the Dragon Balls?"

"Yes, Grand Elder. I'd like to make a wish. Do I need to pass a test again?"

"Hehehe… Mr. Lynx, the Dragon Balls of Namek are always available to you."

The Grand Elder, possessing prophetic abilities, had already sensed that Lynx would play an important role in helping the Namekians. And with each meeting, Lynx's power had grown far beyond what it had been.

So forging a strong relationship with someone like him was something the Grand Elder deemed well worth it.

With the Grand Elder's permission, Lynx used Instant Transmission to quickly gather all seven Namekian Dragon Balls from villages across the planet.

Meanwhile, Kami took out the seven Earth Dragon Balls he had brought.

"These were made by you? You truly are a gifted Namekian," said the Grand Elder with a nod of praise after inspecting them.

"Thank you for your kind words, Grand Elder.Lynx—shall we begin?"

"Yes."

"Shenron! Come forth and grant our wish!" Kami called out.

At the same time, Nail recited the ancient Namekian chant to summon Porunga.

In an instant, the skies over Namek turned black.

All fourteen Dragon Balls—seven from each planet—emitted a dazzling golden light.

And then, two majestic dragons emerged from the light—Porunga from Namek, and Shenron from Earth.

Seeing two different planetary dragons appear simultaneously in one place—something that had never happened in the original Dragon Ball series—stunned everyone present.

But Lynx's first comment was:

"Kami… your dragon is kinda small."

Kami wiped a bead of cold sweat from his forehead, looking embarrassed:

"Yeah… compared to the Grand Elder's dragon, mine's lacking quite a bit…"

The Grand Elder chuckled softly and reassured him:

"No worries. Appearance is just a shell. What matters most is that your dragon is full of power—that is a good thing."

"Thank you, Grand Elder."

Kami gave a grateful bow, then turned to Lynx.

"Lynx, state your wish."

Lynx nodded and turned first to Nail:

"Mr. Nail, my first wish: please have the Namekian dragon restore Planet Tivi."

Then, he turned to Shenron:

"And please have the people of Planet Tivi—those killed by Frieza—brought back to life."

This was exactly why Lin Chen had summoned both dragons.

He wasn't just trying to bring back Queen Hanasia—he wanted to revive everyone on Planet Tivi.

But Namek's dragon, Porunga, couldn't revive multiple people at once.

Only Earth's Shenron could do that.

The catch? Shenron could only grant one wish per summoning. And for the revival to work, the planet itself had to exist first.

That meant Lin Chen had to use Porunga to restore the planet, and Shenron to resurrect its people.

Once both wishes were voiced, the two dragons' eyes glowed brightly.

Porunga was the first to speak:

"Saiyan, your wish has been granted—Planet Tivi has been restored!"

Next, Shenron added:

"Your wish has been granted, Saiyan. Thank you for letting me meet my brother… and now, farewell!"

With that, Earth's Shenron let out a mighty roar and dissolved into seven Dragon Balls, preparing to scatter across the planet.

But since they were on Namek, Lynx couldn't let the Earth Dragon Balls fly off to random places—it would be a pain to collect them again.

So before they could take off, he leapt into the air and swiftly caught all seven.

Meanwhile, on Planet Tivi—

Many people began to slowly stand up from the ground in confusion.

Among them was the once-dead Queen Hanasia, along with numerous other Saiyans.

"Frieza!!"

Hanasia shouted furiously the moment she revived—but then realized… something was off.

"Wait… this is Planet Tivi? Where's Frieza?"

"Your Majesty!"

Several recently revived Saiyans nearby rushed over to her. All of them were talking at once, asking what had happened.

Most of them remembered dying—it didn't make sense that they were alive now.

Hanasia suddenly remembered too—Frieza, unable to defeat her directly, had destroyed the entire planet to win.

So how were they back? And the planet too?

While the Saiyans puzzled it out, elsewhere on the planet…

A group of Frieza Force survivors rushed to nearby spacepods and fled into space.

These troops had landed on Tivi during the ambush—only to be vaporized alongside the planet by Frieza himself.

Now suddenly alive again, they didn't know how or why—but they definitely recognized the Saiyans nearby.

Especially that fearsome female Saiyan—the one who had beaten the crap out of Frieza.

If they didn't escape now, they'd just be killed again!

Back on Namek—

Nail turned to Lynx:

"Mr. Lynx, your first wish has been granted. What would you like for your second wish?"

"Second wish…?Ah, right… I… kinda forgot to think about that…"

Lynx scratched his head and gave an awkward laugh.

Everyone present—Kami, Nail, and the others—collapsed to the ground in exasperation.
