Chapter 13 - Chapter 13: The True King of the Saiyans… Turles?

"Ding! Crisis detected on Planet Vegeta. Activating strongest choice selection!"

Option 1: Ignore Planet Vegeta's crisis and seize all Tree of Might fruit.

Reward: Spirit Bomb technique.

Option 2: Intimidate Turles' army, recruit them all, and seize the fruit.

Reward: Kaio-ken technique.

Option 3: Kill all of Turles' troops and destroy the Tree of Might.

Reward: 10 Tree of Might fruits and a 50x Gravity Chamber.

Without hesitation, Lynx made his choice.

"I choose Option Three!"

Planet Vegeta was meant to be Lynx's base of operations. He had used up a wish from the Namekian Dragon Balls just to relocate the planet to safety—How could he now sit by and let it be drained dry by the Tree of Might?

As for the technique rewards—Lynx figured that if he really wanted techniques like the Spirit Bomb or Kaio-ken, he could always go train with King Kai himself.

The real prize here was the 50x Gravity Chamber. That was far more valuable in terms of long-term training potential.

And those 10 Tree of Might fruits? Sure, it wasn't a lot, but it was enough.

Besides, if things went according to what Lynx remembered from the movies, Turles probably still had Tree of Might seeds. Once Lynx had them, he could easily plant a new tree elsewhere—No need to sacrifice Planet Vegeta for it.

"Ding! Choice confirmed. Please complete your mission as soon as possible."

Lynx snapped back to reality and turned to the female Saiyan.

"Don't worry. I'll take care of them right now."

Her face lit up with hope. She bowed her head gratefully.

"Thank you, Your Majesty!"

Lynx nodded, preparing to leave. Just before taking off, he looked back and asked:

"By the way, what's your name?"

"Hanassia… But, Your Majesty, you can just call me Hana…" Her cheeks flushed red.

Lynx gave her a simple nod and rose into the sky with Broly, the two quickly vanishing into the clouds.

As soon as they left, the other female Saiyans crowded around Hana.

"Hana! Oh my gosh! Congratulations! King Lynx totally has his eyes on you!"

"You're amazing, Hana. If I'd known, I would've stepped up to speak to him too!"

While the girls giggled and whispered, Vegeta clenched his fists, gritting his teeth.

"Tch… Raditz, we're going after them!"

"Huh? But it's dangerous outside…"

"Then stay here if you're scared!I need to see that Lynx guy's strength with my own eyes!"

Vegeta's pride was burning.

Even just the kid beside Lynx had seemed unfathomable. What kind of power did Linx himself possess?

He couldn't accept it.He was the Prince of all Saiyans—he was supposed to be the strongest! But now, out of nowhere, two beings stronger than him had appeared.

"I'll witness their power for myself. And one day, I'll surpass them…I'll take back the throne for my father!"

Meanwhile…

Planet Vegeta – Saiyan Capital

The once-glorious city lay in ruins. Now, the capital was consumed by the enormous Tree of Might.

Where there had once been royal palaces and spires, now stood an impossibly massive trunk, reaching into swirling clouds above.

The colossal tree was devouring the planet's life force.

At its base, a group of Saiyan warriors stood watching, eyes full of fury.

"Bardock! You said King Lynx would come save Planet Vegeta! Why isn't he here yet?! That damn fruit is nearly ripe!"

King Vegeta, his head bandaged, glared at the towering tree that had crushed his palace.

If it weren't for Bardock, he'd have already led an assault by now.

But Bardock, one of Lynx's appointed commanders, had stopped him.

He claimed to have seen a vision—Lynx would return.

King Vegeta was already aware of Bardock's precognition ability, and it was only because of that trust that he held back.

But as time passed, his patience wore thin.

"King Vegeta, please hold on just a little longer," said Paragus, another of Lynx's appointed strategists."Turles and his men are simply too strong. Even if we fight to the death, we might not succeed without His Majesty Lynx."

Just then, the scouters on the Saiyans' faces began to beep rapidly.

Laughter echoed from above.

"Hahaha! Isn't that King Vegeta down there? What's this? Have you finally changed your mind and come to swear loyalty to King Turles?"

The Saiyans looked up in alarm.

Hovering in the sky was a group of Saiyans—traitors who had turned against King Vegeta to serve Turles.

And in the center of the formation, six figures stood out.

The five core members of Turles' army, and the evil Saiyan himself—Turles!

King Vegeta broke out in a cold sweat.

Bardock clenched his fists, eyes locked on the traitor who threatened their world.

But the most twisted part?

Turles looked exactly like Bardock—the only difference was his darker skin tone.

"Turles!! Get the hell off Planet Vegeta!" "Our true king is returning any moment now! When he gets here, you and all your men will be wiped out!"

King Vegeta roared.

Turles sneered, his lips curling into a bloodthirsty grin.

"Oh? You mean that 'Lynx' fellow?I've heard about him. A so-called king with only 100,000 battle power? That weakling dares call himself royalty?"

A bald Saiyan beside him chimed in.

"Exactly! King Vegeta, open your eyes! The true king of the Saiyans is Lord Turles! His power is already at 300,000!"

"Nappa?! You too?!" King Vegeta's face flushed with rage. "Where's your pride as a Saiyan elite?!"

Nappa had once been one of King Vegeta's royal guards—a noble. But when Turles arrived, Nappa was the first to grovel and defect.

His betrayal led many others to switch sides.

"Pride?" Nappa sneered. "Says the man who bowed to Lynx! Where was your pride back then, King Vegeta?!"

Then Nappa turned to Turles with a sycophantic grin.

"Lord Turles, allow me to take care of these fools for you!"

Turles smiled, amused.

"Go on."

"Have your fun."
