Chapter 10 - Drunk

(Henry's POV)

—————

Me and Sandra were sitting here at the bar counter taking small sips of liquor which I'm not familiar with.

And as for Kara, she was currently missing.

"Did Kara leave?" I asked Sandra.

"Nah, she always does this, she either doesn't want to be seen hooking with random guys, or most probably she is doing the deed right now." She clicked her eyes at me as if I knew what she was talking about.

And I do of course, I just can't process the fact that she was into something like that.

"Wait here Henry, don't go anywhere, I'll call the others and see what they're up to." She said making sure I was alright before she left.

I watched as the people got wilder and wilder. Fortunately I was able to squeeze myself in the corner, not many people could see me in this spot unless they found the perfect angle.

I'm certain I won't bump into Grey or anyone I know.

I waited and waited.

It must have been almost an hour but Sandra was still not back. I patiently waited for her for another fifteen minutes but there was still no sign of her or the others.

Where could they be?

I put aside my fear and firmed myself as I stood up.

I'll just look for them, they can't be that far.

…

The moment I stepped out of my hiding spot, everyone's eyes quickly turned to me.

"OooHHH guys look! We have a crasher here. Little fella you're not supposed to be here. Are you?" A shirtless guy with tanned skin approached me the moment I passed them. He was soaking wet since he must have just taken a dip in the pool not long ago.

"I didn't crash, I was invited, I'm just looking for my friends." I half-lied to them but they didn't believe it and ushered me closer to them.

"Nevermind that, you know the rules here right? Since you dared to come here." He grinned as he pulled my body to where his friends were gathered.

"You are so stiff."

He pinched my side making me cower.

"Chill, we won't do anything, you can relax. But you should totally get a drink or two. You know, fitting in. Right guys?!" The guy yelled.

"YEAHHH!!!" His friends shouted altogether, laughing, and now I was stuck in this sticky situation.

"Just one drink?" I asked them.

"Just one." the guy said, smiling widely at me.

They told me that as long as I finish chugging one glass that they would let me go.

I then saw a woman with red hair pouring in a bunch of weird colored alcohols in the glass. It's a bit big, and I was slightly concerned if I could take it or not. Given that this will be my first time drinking.

"Here it is," They handed it to me and chanted together.

"CHUG! CHUG! CHUG!"

I looked around, and everyone's eyes were on me, I feared Grey might stumble upon me any moment if I don't finish this quickly.

Under intense pressure, I drank it all in one go without thinking of the consequence.

"There we go!" The guy tapped my back proudly.

"Sure you don't want to stay little guy?" The man asked me, and I strongly refused and continued searching for my friends.

I walked up the stairs on the left leading to the second floor, considering I could get a better view from there. But midway, my head started hurting a little and my vision got blurry.

I thought it was my glasses but after I cleaned it, it was still freaking the same!

God, please no! I'm not drunk am I?

I forced myself up and resumed my steps sluggishly. The noise was getting louder accompanied by the growing headache and the feeling of the need to vomit.

I was sure that I raised my feet high enough, but somehow I tripped and fell face first on the ground.

Pain instantly spreading all over my body.

"Ugh!" I groaned.

I tried getting up with all my might but my body wouldn't cooperate.

"Here you are." A familiar voice suddenly came behind me.

I recognize that voice! It was the guy who stopped me earlier.

Did he follow me?

"You okay there, you look terrible." he chuckled, and then I felt his hand rubbing my back.

"Please~ help…" I said with a groggy voice.

"What was that?" he asked, amused. And then I felt his hand going lower and lower.

"Do you want us to get a room little guy?" he asked, and I wasn't dumb to not know what his intention were.

"Help~" I tried to call for help but my voice was swallowed by the loud blast of the music.

"Shhh… it's okay. I'm here." He suddenly turned me around, and I felt his face close to my neck as he sniffed me.

"Fuck! You smell so sweet right now." he said darkly, and I could see the lust in his eyes.

Tears were welling up in my eyes.

I shouldn't have come here. I was wrong to come here. Please—anyone—Grey… help me…

"What are you doing to that boy Aaron." A foreign yet familiar voice suddenly came.

The heavy weight on top of me was suddenly gone. I then heard a loud crash accompanied by painful groans.

"Fuck! What is wrong with you!?"

What is going in. Is it Grey? Or my friends?

"I would leave if I were you, Aaron, before I lose my patience."

I tried to look at the person who saved me, but my vision were all turned upside down as the whole world became a moving mess.

"I was just having fun. Why are you meddling on my business?!" The guy's voice rang as he tried to argue.

"If you don't get out of my sight…" the man paused, and for a moment, I felt the air around me turn cold… and the next thing he said next made every hair in my body stand.

"I will kill you." Even I froze at the man's words.

After a few moments, I heard Aaron curse as he scurried away, his hurried footsteps fading.

After a minute, I felt a figure hovering above me, and a familiar minty breath entered my nose.

"Now what do I do with you?" The stranger muttered darkly.

I fought my eyes to stay open, but I could only see a blurry image of the guy.

Who is he?

And that was the last thing I remember before I finally passed out. And waking up in an unfamiliar room.
