🔔 [Ding! Would you like to open your newbie gift pack and view Selvia's information?]

At this moment, Lathel paid no attention to the System's notifications—he was only focused on his "spring night" with Selvia.

The night passed. The next morning, Lathel woke up groggy and a little sore—he'd indulged himself far too much the night before.

But who could blame him? Selvia was just too beautiful, too adorable; he simply couldn't resist.

This was a wonderful feeling he had never experienced in his previous life on Earth.

Back then, he was just an orphan. By the time he died, he'd never even owned a house or a car, let alone found a girlfriend.

But in this life, the moment he transmigrated, he'd gained a beautiful girl's love.

Even if Selvia hadn't been the Main Heroine, he would still have married her.

Lathel really thought the "old Lathel" had been a complete fool. To be so loved and not care, just to become another girl's dog

But things were different now—he
was no longer the "old Lathel."

Lathel turned his head; beside him, Selvia was sleeping with her head on his arm, a blissful smile still on her face.

Remembering last night, Selvia had been like a gentle little kitten.

She knew nothing about intimacy, but did her best to follow everything he asked, obedient to the point of heartbreak.

Lathel caressed her face, glanced down at the snowy peaks beneath the covers, and felt his desire flare up again.

However, he could only sigh—his body was too weak to go any further.

"Ah! My body is just too weak," Lathel muttered in complaint.

After all, he was still just a normal human—his stamina was limited, his endurance not great, so he couldn't enjoy much more with Selvia.

"No
" Lathel looked at the System panel and smiled. "Give me some time and I'll be able to enjoy this as much as I want."

That's right—with the System, he was certain he wouldn't remain useless for long.

"System," Lathel communicated in his mind, "did I get a newbie gift pack yesterday?"

🔔 [Ding! Correct.]

"Then, open the newbie gift pack."

Although the rewards weren't many, the moment Lathel saw that one of the System's gifts was a "Random Talent Card," he smiled with genuine delight.

That was exactly what he needed.

"In a world of Magic and Swords, if I don't have a talent, then I'm just another ordinary person—living at most a hundred years," Lathel murmured to himself.

"But if I can possess a talent, everything will be different."

Digging through the memories of the "old Lathel," he clearly knew there were two types of people in this world—besides ordinary folks.

The first were the "Awakened"—those who had awakened some special ability or unique talent.

The second were Mages, who, though they might not have a talent, possessed the aptitude to use magic.

The two types differed in how they manipulated magic and in their power, but fundamentally, both absorbed and utilized energy.

"I got a 'Random Talent Card,' which means I'll be an Awakened. That's good—even if I'm Awakened or a Mage, as long as I'm stronger and can live longer, that's all that matters," Lathel thought to himself.

He immediately ordered the System: "Use both random talent cards right now."

🔔 [Ding! Now using random talent cards. Please wait a moment.]

Instantly, two cards appeared before him—one glowing with a dazzling golden light, the other with a bright blue radiance.

🔔 [Ding! Congratulations! You have obtained two talents.]

Just then, Lathel felt his body heat up rapidly.

He quickly pulled his hand away, startling Selvia awake.

"Heh?! Lathel, what's wrong?" Selvia asked sleepily, rubbing her eyes.

Lathel didn't have time to explain. He immediately ran outside to the lake and jumped in.

Sizzle! Sizzle! Sizzle!

The moment he entered the water, it sounded as if a red-hot steel ingot had been plunged into the lake.

A cloud of white steam rose from the lake, startling Selvia.

She quickly wrapped herself in a thin blanket, crying as she ran outside, desperately searching for any sign of Lathel.

"Lathel! Where are you? Lathel
" Selvia called out, tears streaming down her face.

Biting her lip, she jumped into the lake, trying to find Lathel.

Suddenly, a pair of strong hands grabbed her shoulders and pulled her up.

"AAA!!!" Selvia screamed in shock.

But when she saw the person holding her was Lathel, her fear turned instantly to relief. "Lathel, are you alright? You
 you
"

Lathel lowered his head, seeing her face flushed with fear, tears still flowing down her cheeks, and his heart felt incredibly warm.

He pulled Selvia tightly into his embrace, gently whispering, "Don't worry, I just discovered something wonderful, that's all."

"Heh!? You
 um
 mm
" Before Selvia could even ask what it was, Lathel pressed his lips to hers.

After that, they resumed their "battle"—this time, the battlefield was the lake in front of their bedroom.

In fact, their bedroom was designed in a Mediterranean style, with a pool-like lake in front, surrounded by countless beautiful flowers.

And this area was reserved for him and Selvia alone, with only a few maids nearby to serve them.

So, he wasn't worried about being seen.

If the maids saw, so what? He didn't care—at least they weren't men.

Just as Lathel expected, when the maids heard Selvia's scream, they rushed into the room.

But when they saw Lathel and Selvia together in the lake, they immediately blushed and hurried back out, posting themselves around the area to make sure no one disturbed them.

Nearly an hour later, Selvia, exhausted, leaned against him. He carried her gently and laid her on the bed.

Seeing how tired Selvia was, Lathel felt a twinge of guilt.

After gaining Perfect Human and an S-rank talent, he'd gotten too excited—and ended up showing off his strength to Selvia right away.

Of course, after a whole "joyous" night with Lathel and now yet another "battle," Selvia was so exhausted she couldn't even open her eyes.

Lathel gently caressed her face, placed a soft kiss on her forehead, and left the room so she could rest.

"Come in," Lathel called.

At that moment, two rather pretty maidservants entered. Seeing Lathel without a stitch of clothing, they immediately understood their job was to help dress him.

However
when they saw Lathel's body, now rippling with muscle—not bulky, but perfectly defined and proportioned, like a living work of art—both maids blushed.

The prince even seemed a little more handsome than before, the lines of his face sharper, more masculine and attractive.

Since when did the prince become this handsome and strong?

That question spun in both maids' minds as they tried to regain their composure—but their hearts were pounding so hard it felt like they might leap from their chests.

Biting their lips, they hurriedly started to dress Lathel.

Lathel thoroughly enjoyed the whole process. He was the prince—this was his due.

He noticed the maids' clumsy hands as they dressed him, especially when they reached for his trousers, and he couldn't help but smile in satisfaction.

Sitting in a chair, he watched as the two maids prepared tea and light snacks for him.

Lathel gazed at the two, feeling utterly satisfied inside.

Even though they weren't as beautiful as Selvia, their looks definitely neared 80 points.

Right now, they wore only simple maid uniforms and light makeup. If they were on Earth, they'd surely be popular on social media.

Leaning back, Lathel thought to himself: "Ah! So this is the life of a villain? It's a hundred times better than being the main character."

"If I could choose again, I'd still choose to be the villain, hahaha
"
