Enrollment

The day I stepped onto campus with a laptop in my backpack and dreams coded in binary, I had no idea I was about to debug more than just programs — friendships would crash, expectations would lag, and somewhere between firewalls and final exams, I'd try to rewrite who I thought I was.

It all started two months after I graduated from high school. My senior year had been rough, but it was necessary — a kind of boot camp to prepare us for college life. I had average grades during my last year in senior high school, though most of them were above 80. Anyways, back to the story.

Before I even stepped onto campus, I enrolled myself to one of the advanced schools that is a bus away from where I live. I brought all the requirements needed in order for me to be accepted to campus. After filling up the enrollment form, I went to the cashier in order for me to pay for enrollment. After that, the cashier and the front desk told me to get some signatures from other offices that was required for enrollment. It took a lot of time before I was finished giving the requirements and getting their signatures. After getting the signatures of each office that was on the checklist staples on my enrollment form, I proceeded to the registrar to confirm my enrollment checklist has been filled. After that, I went back to the front desk and they told me that there is a entrance exam for those students who are new to the school. That entrance exam will determine if I have a chance of getting admitted with a scholarship. That scholarship will reduce my tuition so I need to take it. After hearing that, the person in the front office told me that the entrance exam will start 1 week from now so I tried my best to study and make sure that I won't slack off. That's all that happened during my enrollment to the school.
