Cheongsam nodded, placing the cloth aside and walking over to help her unpack.
"So… porridge?" he asked.
"Mm-hmm," she replied, already pulling ingredients out. "First course, a light millet porridge with jujubes and goji berries. Not too sweet, not too bland."
Cheongsam raised a brow, impressed. "That's a good start. Filling and warm."
"For the main, steamed egg custard bowls with preserved vegetables and a drizzle of sesame oil. I'll add some spinach and mushrooms on the side for color and texture...." she continued, ticking items off mentally. "And then for the third—something portable."
"Steamed buns?" Cheongsam suggested, reaching for the flour.
"Yes actually..." Mianmian nodded, "but I'll do two fillings. One will be a traditional pork and cabbage, the other a lotus seed paste. Sweet and savory options, in case people don't want something too heavy in the morning.."
