Chapter 161 - Chapter 161: You Dare to Hit Me

Emily Lin stared icily at Rosalie. "Rosalie, are you seriously claiming that my brother tried to assault you?"

Rosalie stepped closer, her expression finally turning smug. "Emily, why are you doubting me? You've always looked down on me, never wanted to be friends. And now your brother actually likes me—how ridiculous! But even so, I still look down on him. I have no interest in becoming your sister-in-law."

Emily clenched her teeth in fury. Everyone knew Rosalie was a manipulative flirt, yet men always seemed to fall for her.

"What exactly do you want, Rosalie?"

Rosalie folded her arms and said coldly, "Get on your knees and beg."

"What?!"

"You asked me to let your brother go, didn't you? Then kneel—on those high-and-mighty knees of yours—and kowtow. If you do it until I'm satisfied, maybe I'll consider dropping the charges. Otherwise, I'll hire the best lawyer money can buy and make sure your brother rots in prison. His life will be over—and so will the Lin family's reputation."

"You're disgusting, Rosalie!"

Rosalie smirked confidently. "Thanks. I try."

Just then, a calm, pleasant voice broke in."Rosalie, did you use Love Flower on me?"

Rosalie's face stiffened. She turned abruptly toward Celia.

Since entering the room, Celia had remained quiet, observing everything. This was the first time she'd spoken—and it hit the mark.

Rosalie's eyes flashed with panic. "Celia, what are you talking about? Love Flower? I don't even know what that is."

Celia stepped forward, her clear gaze locked onto Rosalie's face, lips curled into a faint, mocking smile. "Rosalie, you deliberately seduced Mr. Lin yesterday. Before entering the private room, you sprayed yourself with a perfume infused with Love Flower. It's more powerful than any drug. Mr. Lin lost control because of it—he didn't assault you. You set him up, didn't you?"

Rosalie's heart sank. No one knew about the Love Flower—how did Celia find out?

"You're truly malicious, Rosalie. You used a drug to manipulate Mr. Lin, then tried to frame him for assault. If this story gets out, how do you think the public will see you?"

Rosalie's voice trembled with fury. "Say what you want! No one will believe you! You have no proof. I'm the one who looks like the victim here!"

Celia's dark eyes sparkled as she smiled. "We didn't have evidence… until now."

She pulled out a voice recorder and played back their entire conversation. Rosalie's face turned pale.

"You were recording me?!"

"Don't touch her!" Celia signaled to her assistant, Chloe. "This recorder holds every word of your confession—from drugging Emily's brother, to framing him, to blackmailing Emily into kneeling before you. Try anything, and it goes online."

"Celia, you wouldn't dare!"

"I would," Celia said coolly. "But I'm giving you a choice: withdraw the lawsuit and declare it was all a misunderstanding. Do that, and I'll give you the recorder."

Rosalie's carefully constructed scheme had completely unraveled. Her hands trembled, but she had no way to fight back. She couldn't let that recording go public.

"Fine. I'll withdraw the lawsuit."

Celia raised her brows slightly. "Good. Then we're done here."

Before anyone else could speak, Emily stormed forward and slapped Rosalie hard across the face.

Slap.

Rosalie staggered back, holding her reddened cheek. "You dare hit me?!"

Celia quipped calmly, "If she didn't, I would have. You just picked the wrong time."
