Chapter 1 - I Was Reincarnated As... Frieza?!

"Galaxy #249, Solar System #779, Planet #110 has been listed on the Intergalactic Market, my lord."

I blinked as I opened up my eyes, wincing as a bright light assaulted me. I raised my hand, the purple fingers covering my eyes as they blocked the shining light.

"Five more minutes," I muttered, groaning lightly as I was suddenly awoken from what felt like the best sleep of my life.

Truly, I felt like I had never been so deeply asleep before. It was as if the world had completely faded away from me - as if I'd been sleeping for multiple days on end. Which was weird, because I don't remember lying down in my bed last night-

My eyes shot open again as I realized what was blocking out the light: Fingers. Not just any fingers, but purple fingers. Thick purple fingers that looked human-like, but also not human-like because they were fuckin' purple!

"The neighboring planet, Galaxy #249, Solar System #779, Planet #111, is also in the process of being cleaned out, my lord. Should it be listed on the market as well?"

I moved my hand out of the way of my eyes, taking in the sight in front of me. Kneeling on the ground more than a dozen feet below me was a blue alien.

Yes, a blue alien. He had a dinosaur-like appearance, with scaly skin and a snout where his mouth should've been. His face was rectangular, with sharp teeth jutting out of his snout and two horns sticking out of his head. His body looked huge, as he was easily ten feet tall and wide, and his head was bowed to me.

For a moment, I just sat there, staring blankly at the creature. What the fuck is going on?

We seemed to be in a throne room of sorts, and my bed was in an elevated position. Below me, there was a gray floor, along with gray walls surrounding the large empty room, and a small white door straight ahead of me.

I reached up, gripping the side of my head - which felt like a helmet, and was that a horn? - as a searing headache ripped through me. I tried to think about what I was doing before I fell asleep, but I suddenly couldn't remember.

It wasn't that I had lost my memories - no, I remembered everything else pretty clearly. I could remember my usual day, which consisted of eating a healthy breakfast, going to the gym, playing games, working, sometimes meeting up with friends, and then heading to bed at night. I could even remember my bedroom vividly, but when I tried to think about the day before, my mind was just… blank.

My eyes glanced around the room again, and I glanced over my shoulder. As I did, my eyes nearly popped out of my head.

Behind me was a large, circular wall of glass. A massive window that stared out into the expanse of space - I was in fuckin' space?! I could see various stars twinkling in the distance, and my mind was whirling.

"My lord, should we-ARGH!"

I spun back around as the dinosaur's head suddenly exploded. Yes - it literally exploded. One second it was on the top of his head, and the next it was a fountain of blood coating the floor.

"These weaklings never know when to quit speaking," A deep, elegant voice chuckled to my side, "If Lord Frieza didn't answer you the first time, then why would you ask again?"

I glanced over at the voice, and as I did, everything suddenly made sense.

The voice belonged to an incredibly handsome, green-skinned man. He had a ponytail of green hair hanging behind his back, a muscular frame, and was wearing a very familiar set of armor. The armor was white on the torso, had sharp shoulder pads, and looked like it didn't protect his legs at all as it shortened into a tight thong-like black fabric.

Roughly a dozen feet below me, Zarbon was looking up at me with a grin. And, what was it that he just called me?

"Would you like me to kill the whole division, Lord Frieza?" Zarbon asked, glancing over at a fear-filled blue dinosaur in the corner of the room with a smirk on his face.

Lord Frieza. He just called me Lord Frieza.

I glanced down, realizing for the first time that the comfy substance under me wasn't a bed. Instead, it was a floating ship-like pod. My eyes slowly scanned up my body, taking in my pink limbs, long tail, and purple hands and feet.

I was in Dragon Ball, and I wasn't just some side character. I was Frieza - the intergalactic warlord who just seemed to never go away.

Slowly, my alien face shifted into a grin.

I was Frieza.

It was time to get to work.

—----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

My hand shot forward, slamming into the head of a burly red-skinned alien. I leaned back a moment later, letting a laser fire past me as I casually raised my hand. A flow of energy shot through my arm, and a Ki-blast was sent hurtling toward a small oval-headed blue alien.

It blasted into him, sending him flying back and into the wall behind him. He let out a pained grunt, then slumped forward and fell into unconsciousness.

"My Lord, are you still training?" Zarbon called out, a twinge of doubt in his tone as he stepped through the door into my training room.

The training room wasn't anything impressive, as Frieza had never made one prior to my arrival in his body. The arrogant tyrant thought he was the strongest in the universe already, and as such, saw no point in training.

I had this one constructed, but with how quickly it was done, and the fact that we were in a massive spaceship and didn't have many materials, it was pretty basic. Just a large white circular room with me and a bunch of aliens.

"I am," I answered casually, not even a bead of sweat on me as I glanced past the pile of alien bodies around me at Zarbon.

"I don't mean to doubt you, My Lord, but I don't see what benefit you could achieve from training with such… lowly creatures," Zarbon continued, trying his best to be nice even as he called the various grunts around me weak.

He wasn't wrong, either, as I wasn't getting much benefit from training with them - in a traditional sense, at least. I was Frieza, which meant I had enough power to crush all these weak aliens with the snap of my fingers, but I wasn't focused solely on gaining more power right now.

Instead, as we headed back to Frieza's main planet, or my main planet now, I was training my control with this body. I was Frieza - one of the strongest beings in the entire universe, but I didn't have a lifetime of using his body.

Instead, in reality, I was just a normal human who'd been thrust into his body. I needed to adapt to having a new height, the new length of my limbs, and how to actually fight. Luckily, this body's natural instincts were pretty insane, and I could see why Frieza had grown so arrogant.

Despite never having fought a day in my life before being transported into this world, I could handle all the aliens with ease. They were soldiers - beings who fought for their lives every day in my army, but my body just instinctively dodged and counterattacked with ease.

But, while my instincts were amazing, I still needed to train my control more. Using Ki was a new sensation to me, but I had figured it out pretty quickly by just willing my energy to funnel to one point. Actually using strong techniques and even transforming into my other forms was a bit difficult, but I was slowly getting the hang of it.

"I'm just warming up my body, Zarbon," I hummed in response to his question, and I wondered if I should punish the man for doubting my methods. "I will begin my serious training when we reach Planet Frieza."

Yes - the arrogant prick known as Frieza had, of course, named his favorite planet 'Planet Frieza.' There were actually hundreds of 'Planet Friezas' in the universe, as the tyrant who was now me tended to name any planet he enjoyed after himself. The rest were instead listed for sale on the Intergalactic Market - which was like Zillow for aliens.

Back to Zarbon - I wasn't actually anywhere near the asshole Frieza was, but Zarbon was becoming a bit too comfortable as Frieza suddenly turned over a new leaf and became a bit kinder. He was already one of the few soldiers who could openly talk to or question me, as Frieza clearly had respect for him, but he was becoming a bit too comfortable now.

"I value your advice, Zarbon, but…" My eyes narrowed, and Zarbon's shoulders stiffened with slight fear as my Ki flared out, causing a heavy weight to slam down on his shoulders, "Don't question me in something regarding strength."

"O-Of course! My apologies, Lord Frieza!" Zarbon fell down onto one knee, bowing his head low at me.

"Don't forget it," I just grunted, turning away from Zarbon as I glanced at the weak aliens trying to stand up again. "How long until we reach Planet Frieza?"

"Two more days, My Lord," Zarbon confirmed, and I nodded approvingly.

"Good," My lips twitched up into a smirk. Once I got there, the true training would begin.

Golden Frieza, here I come!

—----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

"W-We are already rulers of the universe! Why do you want to continue training, my son?!" The deep voice of King Cold shouted, looking tired as he hunched over and breathed heavily.

"It's fun," I just grinned lightly, not wanting to confess to him that I was chasing a form he didn't even know about.

We were in a much poorer-looking training room than the one on my ship, and that was because it was less of a training room and more of a training planet. The ground under our feet was brown and rocky, and the entire planet was empty as it was reserved solely for the training of powerful soldiers - which was mainly Zarbon, Dodoria, and the Ginyu Force.

Now, it was the sparring grounds for me and my 'father,' King Cold. I had requested that he have a mock fight with me when I arrived back on Planet Frieza, and he had agreed as he was amused by the idea.

I had quickly found out that King Cold was, indeed, stronger than Frieza. Especially Me-Frieza, who was relying more on instincts than decades of fighting experience, so I had gotten my ass kicked.

But, after recovering in a healing pod, I had requested another battle. Then another. Then another. Then another. Then- you get the idea.

I had fought with King Cold more than twenty times now, and I quickly realized that Frieza was talented. Not just because of his race, which only consisted of myself, my brother Cooler, and King Cold, but because he himself was talented.

I surpassed King Cold in just three battles. After ten, it wasn't even close, and I could win in my third form. After twenty, King Cold could barely put a scratch on me in my second form. And, after just a few more battles, I felt like I'd be able to win in my base form.

I was becoming stronger at an insane rate, and Frieza's in-series Golden Frieza form suddenly didn't seem so insane or far away. In canon, he'd trained for just four months to go from getting his ass kicked by Super Saiyan Goku to being able to handle Super Saiyan Blue Goku. That level of talent was insane, and I was feeling it firsthand.

I couldn't find my exact power level, as any scouters that looked at me, even in my base form, shattered immediately, but I estimated that my base form was nearing what my final form had used to be - that being around one hundred million.

I didn't know what power level my final form was at yet, but it was easily in the hundreds of billions. At the same time, King Cold didn't seem to be growing in strength nearly as fast from our duels. It wasn't that Frieza's race was talented, but that Frieza himself was talented.

"Whatever…. I am finished with this foolishness! I have better things to do than train with you!" King Cold huffed, glaring lightly at me as he stood up and turned away. His ego had obviously been hurt whenever I defeated him, as he had done this every day for the past few weeks.

"Same time tomorrow, Father?" I asked with a light smirk, knowing he would accept, just as he did every day. His ego wouldn't allow him to decline me.

However, to my surprise, he didn't.

"There's no point, Frieza," He spat out, glaring over his shoulder at me, "I understand that you've surpassed me, alright? I'm done with this useless waste of time! I will be leaving Planet Frieza tomorrow!"

King Cold turned away, stomping angrily as his pride was shattered from losing to his own son so many times - his youngest son at that.

"So, you're certain that you won't spar with me anymore?" I asked with a raised eyebrow, my eyes boring into the back of his head as my smirk dropped.

"I will not! Don't ask me again, Frieza," He huffed, his legs tensing as he got ready to fly to his spaceship.

"...Not even if it'll save your life?" My eyes turned a bit cruel, and I disappeared in the blink of an eye.

"What did you-GUH!" King Cold started to ask incredulously, but was cut off as my fist slammed into his stomach. Spit flew from his mouth, landing on the planet under our feet, and I casually raised my finger.

"F-Frieza, what are you-" My finger pressed into the middle of his forehead, and a beam of Ki shot forward.

It cut through his head, skull, and brain as King Cold was slumped over my fist, and the man's words turned into gibberish. Spit and blood flowed out of his mouth as he stared at me disbelievingly, and then he fell flat onto the ground - dead.

"Your use was running out anyway," I hummed, not feeling any guilt as I killed my fellow tyrant of a father.

It wasn't that I had suddenly lost my humanity, but instead that the man certainly deserved to die. He was the same as me, which made sense since he was my father, and he had killed millions, conquered entire planets, and sent countless species to extinction. If anyone deserved death, it was him. But it wasn't my moral obligation that made me kill him, but instead my plans for the future.

The man was one of the few threats currently alive in this universe, as the other ones were Cooler, Kai's, and Gods - all of whom had never bothered Frieza in canon, and shouldn't bother me now. Beerus was the one exception, but the God of Destruction should be asleep for a few more decades at least. King Cold was a threat just from being the same race as me, and his usefulness had run out.

The sparring returns had started to drop, and once I was able to beat him effortlessly in my first form after a couple more fights, I wouldn't be making many gains from fighting King Cold anymore. I could just train on my own and get better results at that point.

"Besides," I said, my mouth twitching up into a grin, "It's almost time."

I needed to leave Planet Frieza soon anyway, as there was a certain event on a planet far away that I couldn't miss.

—----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

"Even both of you together can't defeat me, Kakarot!" Raditz shouted, grinning arrogantly as he stared down the determined forms of Goku and Piccolo, "You should've accepted my offer! There's nothing for you on this backwood planet!"

"Earth is my home! I don't care if you say you're my brother - I won't accept it!" Goku shouted back, shifting into his fighting stance, "I'm not Kakarot, I'm Goku from the planet Earth!"

"Then, I'll have to show you just how outmatched you are, little brother," Raditz smirked widely, shifting into his own fighting stance, "Only then will you realize you're wasting your time here! We have much grander things to accomplish in this universe!"

"Oh? And what might those things be, Saiyan?" I grinned, floating far above the battlefield as I saw Raditz freeze at my words.

If Raditz thought Vegeta and Nappa were powerful, his whole world was about to be shattered.

Frieza had arrived on Earth.
