Chapter 2 - Forming a team and a four way battle.

Kira and Dune were now walking side by side with their bags on their backs. Kira hummed as she walked, not minding her messed up hair.

Dune wanted to move away from her but she would follow him. He was uncomfortable and by uncomfortable he meant he didn't want to anger her again.

"Hey Dune, let's go on an adventure and become Explorer's. " Kira said out of nowhere.

Due had a suprised expression on his face and then he smiled. "If we did were would we go. Everyone in the world knows we are one of the Divine 100."

Kira pursed her lips. "I'm not playing, let's become Explorer's for real, don't you want to fight more coin Bearers and see different Avatars."

Dune laughed, his icy white hair fluttered in the wind. "I'm not debying it but we need two more people with us in order for us to become eligible explorers. I'm pretty sure my grandpa would agree to that, not sure about your parents though. "

Kira blinked at that, then tilted her head with a playful squint. "You think I'd let something like that stop me? Please. I've already left three unsigned permission forms under my mom's tea tray. She's gonna think it's a discount coupon or something."

Dune sighed. "You really are chaos in human form."

"I prefer adventurous spirit—thank you very much."

They walked past a low fence marking the edge of the academy grounds, the sky above streaked with orange and lavender hues from the setting sun. Their silhouettes stretched long across the pavement, wind rustling the leaves as the final bell echoed faintly behind them.

"So," Kira continued, grinning wide. "We just need two more. Who do you have in mind?"

Dune paused, shifting his bag higher on his shoulder. "Someone strong… but not too dramatic. Preferably not another fire maniac."

"Rude." Kira elbowed him. "I'm perfectly controlled fire."

He gave her a side-eye. "You yelled 'Heavenfall Nova' in the middle of the cafeteria field before."

"…Minor detail."

Dune thought for a moment, then glanced up. "Well, there's someone who's been watching our matches a lot lately. Green hair. Yellow eyes. Always has that 'I-know-something-you-don't' expression."

Kira raised an eyebrow. "You mean Talon Rix? That guy's ranked twelve in the Divine Hundred. He's scary."

"Exactly. We need scary." Dune smirked. "Besides, if he's been studying us, maybe he's already interested in teaming up."

Kira stopped mid-step and turned toward him, arms folded. "So we ask him… who's the fourth?"

Dune was quiet for a moment before looking up with a thoughtful hum. "We could ask…Sunny?"

Kira recoiled. "Sunny Lorne? The silent one who talks to her Avatar like it's her best friend?"

Dune rolled his eys and snapped his fingers, his flove glowed and a blue snake wrapped around his arm. "Yeah nothing wrong with that, atleast her Avatar can talk while ours are just savage beast that love battle...yeah we are both battlemaniacs."

Kira stared at the blue spirit serpent coiled around Dune's arm, its scales shimmering with faint electric pulses. She watched as it tilted its head at her, blinking slowly like a curious cat.

She snapped her fingers and her glove glowed, a flying armoured spirit with fiery wings appeared and waved it's hands at Hydragon. Hydragon acknowledged the greeting with a flick of its tongue. "Yeah, now thay i think about it, its not that weird, how was todays clash Blaziel?."

Blaziel turned to Kira and gave her a thumbs up. "It was a good one, much better than our previous once but we should work on increasing your fire power next time Blaziel." Kira replied with a smile.

Dune rolled his eyes as they contiued walking. Kira moved close to him, with a mischievous smile in her face, her eyes were bright and red coloured and her wild brown hair gave her a more natural look. "So, you do realise if we did ask them, they might want to battle us."

Dune gave a half smile, adjusting the strap on his shoulder. "Of course, Clashing with a Divine 100 of always exciting and I call dins in fighting Talon, you can have sunny, she isn't a Divine 100 but I think k she is strong. Anyways since we don't have anything to do now, I'll guess we will see each other tomorrow."

Kira Pouted. "Ok, but come early!!."

Dune gave a lazy wave as he walked off in the direction of the northern dorms. "Yeah, yeah, no promises."

Kira watched him go, arms crossed and cheeks puffed slightly in mock annoyance. But as soon as he disappeared around the path, her grin returned full force. "Adventure, here we come," she muttered under her breath.

The Next Day

The morning sun was barely up when Dune arrived at the training field. He had expected to find Kira pacing impatiently, maybe trying to roast pebbles with Blaziel, but instead, she was sprawled on the grass, arms wide open, fast asleep with a half-eaten steamed bun on her chest.

"You're kidding me..." Dune muttered.

Blaziel floated above her, glowing softly in a protective circle of flame. The moment Dune approached, Blaziel perked up.

Dune sighed and knelt down, poking her forehead. "Hey, fire hazard. Wake up."

Kira mumbled something unintelligible and then shot up suddenly. "I WASN'T SLEEPING—I WAS MEDITATING!"

Dune stood, completely unfazed. "Sure. 'Meditating' with a bun in your mouth."

Kira dusted herself off, cheeks flushed. "You're early."

"You said to come early."

"Well now I'm not ready!" she huffed.

Before they could argue further, a soft voice interrupted them.

"You're both loud." They turned to see a girl sitting on the branch of a nearby tree. Her long silver hair was braided down her back, and perched beside her was a glowing, bird-like Avatar with crystalline wings. Sunny Lorne.

Kira blinked. "Sunny?"

The girl nodded calmly. "You said you might ask me to join."

Dune and Kira exchanged glances.

"I didn't even send the message yet," Dune muttered.

Sunny tilted her head. "I was passing by and Kewlia happened to be around yesterday, I want to explore the world and out interests seemingly Align. Though I have to say, the Divine 100's I have met are all....peculiar and there are about five in this city."

Dune rolled his eyes. "Come on. The Avatar Coins descended two years ago and we were the first two to gain one...I think and a lot has changed from then, of course the first 100 people who gained Avatar Coins would be....strange."

Kira gave Sunny a wide grin, hands on her hips. "Well, you're peculiar too. I mean that in the best way possible."

Sunny shrugged lightly. "That's fair."

Kewlia chirped beside her, fluttering its wings gently and leaving a faint trail of shimmering particles in the air. It circled once and landed on Sunny's shoulder, eyeing Dune and Kira curiously.

"So that's three," Dune said, counting off on his fingers. "Now all that's left is—"

"Me," came a smooth voice from behind them.

They turned to see Talon Rix standing casually at the edge of the training field, arms crossed, wind catching his green hair as his golden eyes locked onto Dune's.

"I figured you'd show up," Dune muttered with a small smirk.

Talon stepped forward, every movement deliberate. "You two have been far too loud not to notice. And if you're forming an Explorer team… you'll need someone who actually thinks ahead."

"Hey!" Kira protested.

Talon ignored her. "You both have raw potential, and Sunny's awareness is impressive. I'll join—but under one condition."

Dune raised an eyebrow. "Condition?"

Talon reached into his pocket and pulled out a black and gold coin etched with sharp symbols none of them recognized.

"We Clash," he said simply, eyes narrowing. "All of us. A four-way Spirit Clash. No holding back. If you want me on your team, I need to see what kind of future I'm walking into."

Kira's eyes lit up instantly. "Now you're speaking my language!"

Sunny didn't flinch. "Accepted."

Dune sighed dramatically. "Fine. But I'm not healing your pride if you lose."

Talon gave a slight smile. "Don't worry. I won't."

They all slid their Avatar Coins into their Spirit Gloves.

Quadruple Spirit Zone: Activated

The world dulled to grayscale, except for glowing spirit lines and flickering energy veins running through the air like neon circuitry. Trees froze. Wind halted. Time outside moved slower. In this space, only one thing mattered—the bond between Avatar and bearer.

"Unleash My Spirit:Hydragon?!!"

"Unleash My Spirit:Blaziel?!!"

"Unleash My Spirit:Kewlia?!."

"Unleash My Spirit:Gasatix?!!."

With a roar, Hydragon's large serpentine Dragon form appeared and looked menacingly at the surroundings.

With a Brilliant explosion, Blaziel appeared with his scmitars ready to burn and cut through his enemies.

Above Sunny a large ball of light exploded and a large sun like Griffin flapped it's crystalline wings, looking down at everyone with its burning gaze.

Gasatix stepped forward, a sleek and imposing figure clad in emerald-green armor with jagged edges that seemed to hum with electric energy and was wielding two dual laser pistols. His eyes gleamed a sharp yellow as he scanned the battlefield, calculating each opponent's strengths and weaknesses.

Talon's voice cut through the charged air. "Alright, everyone. No alliances. Every clash counts."

Kira's grin widened, flames flickering around Blaziel's scimitars. "Then let's give them a show they won't forget!"

Hydragon's eyes locked on Gasatix, and with a powerful surge of water and lightning, it shot forward like a tidal wave. The ground beneath quaked as the storm-empowered serpent lunged, lightning crackling along its scales.

Gasatix pointed its laser pistols and shot at Hydragon hitting his scales and shattered some of it.

Hydragon roared and from his mouth a bolt of lighting escaped and quickly flashed towards him.

Talon's eyes narrowed. "Gasatix, dodge and attack Kewlia."

Gasatix telepoted in a burst of green lines and appeared on above Kewlia and then stomped on it's body, sending it down with a large crash.

Sunny->90

Hydragon roared in irritation as Gasatix ignored him. He for up towards the sky and was now above the battlefield.

Seeing this action, Dune smiled and a gold coin with storm clouds appeared in front of him, he grabbed it and immediately slotted it into his spirit Glove. "Territory Coin:Storm?!."

The grey dome began to be filled with countless gray clouds within moments that flashed with lighting.

Dune was not done as he brought out another coin. "Let's sacrifice a bit of our spirit. Attack Coin:Stormcaller."

Dune->85

Before anyone could react, Hydragon roared as the lighting above became irritated.

Kira turned and gave him a blank look and he just smiled whilst waving and said. "Hope all of you don't mind some friendly fire or lightning in this case.

Kira's smile twitched. "You absolute lunatic."

Above them, the newly summoned clouds swirled with a dangerous hum. Electricity danced between them, arcs of blinding white-blue energy lashing the air like serpents. It wasn't just Hydragon's territory anymore—it was a battleground ruled by storm.

Sunny narrowed her eyes. Kewlia was recovering fast, wings folding and spreading wide again, light rippling across its crystalline feathers.

A coin appeared in Sunny's left arm, then without hesitation she slotted it Into her spirit Glove. "Kwelia, use the Attack, Mimicry?!!."

Kewlia chirped and a large object suddenly blasted back Gasatix. Blaziel dashed forward to slash at the fallen Gasatix but he underestimated Talon's reaction. "Gasatix block it then counter it."

Talon brought out a coin as Gasatix blocked the double scimitar attack from Blaziel and blasted it at point blank with his pistol straight to his face. Blaziel suffered once more as a bild of lightning crashed down on him.

Talon->95.

Kira->90.

Kira's face twitched with annoyance, why was she suddenly getting combed. As she was about to command Blaziel. A second Gasatix that looked crystalline attacked the original one and then it slammed at Blaziel, sending them both back.

That small mistake created an opportunity for Hydragon to slam downwars with torrents of electricity around his body. Soon Hydragon crashed down upon the two creating a large discharge of energy in the surroundings affecting and shattering the mimicry of Gasatix and damaged Kwelia at the same time.

Dune->75

Kira->80

Talon->85

Sunny->80

Dune gave a thumbs up at Hydragon despite his diminishing spirit bar. "Good job Hydragon, you got all three of then at the same time."

Sunny frowned, she summoned a gold coin with a small sun in it and immediately placed it into her spirit Glove. "Territory Coin:Morning Star?!!."
