Chapter 21 - Chapter 21 – Thrones Will Crack

"He's not knocking. He's breaking the doors to heaven."

---

The Ascent – Heaven's Gate

The elevator to Floor 19 did not exist.

Instead, a sky bridge of light formed before Jin, pulsing with celestial hymns that twisted into static as he stepped onto it. Every step he took corrupted the path—gold turned black, marble to ash.

Above him, the sky of this floor wasn't blue.

It was alive.

Thousands of eyes blinked open within the clouds, watching his ascent. Some cried blood. Others wept divine flame. The gates to the heavenly realm loomed at the top, carved from starlight and sealed by the blood of ten thousand saints.

The moment Jin reached them, the Tower trembled.

He didn't knock.

He raised his foot—and kicked.

The gates cracked like old bone.

They screamed.

Not metaphorically.

The gates—infused with the souls of the faithful—screamed as Jin forced them open, their agony echoing across dimensions. Divine seals burst like blisters. Holy chains melted under his touch.

He walked through the breach like a reaper through a chapel.

Heaven's Outer Court – The Watcher's Bastion

A realm of floating islands, each guarded by angelic titans with obsidian wings. These were the Thronebearers, remnants of the First Choir, guardians of godly domains. They stood in phalanx formation—silent, eternal.

One raised a staff made of frozen prayers.

> "This is sacred ground." "You carry blasphemy in every step."

Jin didn't answer.

He unleashed Unholy Manifestation, and his corrupted aura surged outward—turning the floating sky into a canvas of rot and ruin.

The first Thronebearer swung.

Jin sidestepped, caught the shaft of the staff, and snapped it with a thought.

Then he drove the broken half into the angel's mouth and out the back of its skull.

> "You call it sacred." "I call it my execution ground."

Divine Annihilation Begins

Dozens charged.

Wings spread like eclipses. Divine laws ignited around them. Some tried to rewrite Jin's existence mid-charge. Others summoned planetary judgment.

Jin tore through it all.

He summoned Soul Rendering Field, dragging half the Watchers into a realm of torment. They screamed as their divine souls were pulled from their armor—each one swallowed by the creeping black thorns of his aura.

He conjured a maw of shadow that devoured prophecy itself. Those who tried to foresee his moves found only madness.

One tried to speak a god's name.

Jin shoved his plague mask onto the being's face and whispered into its ear:

> "There are no gods here."

Then snapped its spine and hurled the body into the stars.

A trio of Watchers fused their halos into a celestial cannon and fired.

Jin caught the beam barehanded. It seared through his flesh—but he laughed.

Then turned the beam back on them. Their wings vaporized. Their bones became dust.

He used what remained to forge a weapon mid-battle: a scythe made from angel bones, crowned in screaming halos.

> "This will do nicely."

He used it to cut a dozen Watchers in half.

Their death cries formed constellations that fell like snow.

The Voice

From the shattered inner sanctum came a sound—half a scream, half a sob.

A presence older than stars stirred.

One of the lesser gods had awoken.

Not to fight.

But to beg.

> "Jin Black… please… if you stop now… we will lift your curse… we'll give you anything… everything…"

Jin raised his blood-soaked hand.

> "You had your chance."

> "You gave me nothing."

He pointed upward.

> "Now give me your heads."

He turned.

And gazed up at the infinite staircase spiraling toward the Celestial Thrones.

Every step was carved from belief.

And Jin stepped forward with contempt.

> "I'm not just here to kill." "I'm here to end the idea of you."

And with that, he ascended.
