Mahira had no ounce of emotion on her face. Elena walked out slowly crying.
Elena, 'Kaashvi. Fairy... she is being mean... she pushed me. She's angry with us and she
doesn't want to…'
Kaashvi, 'what do you mean?'
Everyone went into Mahira's room and she only recognized Adamsen and Kaashvi. But she had
forgotten their names. As soon as she set her eyes on Thane her body started trembling.
Mahira, 'go away... please... don't hurt me...no no... please don't... I didn't do anything please…'
Mahira was trembling and curled herself on the bed. Her mind was filled with images of how
Thane used to treat her. Angelo and Alexander felt sorry for their mother so they hugged her.
Angelo, 'mommy it's okay. We are here. Please don't be scared mommy.'
Mahira remembered how Angelo and Alexander said they hated her. It seemed like she only
had bad memories and no good memories. She pushed Angelo and Alexander away with great
force causing them to fall down as well.
Mahira, 'Stay away from me!!!! Don't touch me! If you touch me I'll kill you. You just want to
cause me pain...all of you. Get out. Why are you here? I don't need you go…'
Mahira breathed heavily and soon it became dark to her. Everything faded and she fainted from
the sudden outburst. Kaashvi called the doctor to examine her. The doctor examined her and
ran a couple of tests and when he came out he had a long face indicating that there was no
good news.
Kaashvi, 'Why was she acting like that doctor? Is it serious?'
The doctor looked down, 'This isn't good. She only has memories of all the pain and trauma
she's been through. If she keeps getting reminded of these events she will die.'
Thane, 'is there any way we can avoid her bad memories?'
Doctor, 'Yes. If she stays away from things that'll remind her of those events then everything will
be fine. She should stay away from people as well that will trigger those memories. At least until
she's strong enough to face her past.' After saying that the doctor left and Thane just looked down and couldn't keep the tears from
falling. He slowly walked out without saying a word.
KAASHVI
This hurt so bad. Everything has fallen apart. What happened to happily ever after? Why does
life do this to innocent people? Angelo and Alexander are too young, this stress is too much for
them. Elena as well, she's been raped and abused but she's forced to be strong at such a
young age.
I'm just a kpop idol. I don't have a family like this so how am I supposed to fix things? The great
Kaashvi Reyes knows how to get rid of problems but this problem I needed Mahi, but Mahi was
not here now. I walked over to the kids and convinced them to get on the bed. They all made
space for themselves on my lap and soaked me in their tears.
Angelo, 'auntie. When will things go back to normal again?'
'I don't know my angel..but auntie is here so I will make sure that things go back to place.'
Elena, 'Auntie... I failed. I should've kept this family intact but I'm a failure.'
'My dear... you…'
Alexander, 'My only duty was to take care of mommy but I couldn't even do that. I'm so
irresponsible.'
'Alex, Angelo and Elena, things will go back to normal. Don't blame yourself. It's not your fault
okay. We are strong. No one is at fault here. Just sleep okay and leave the worries to me.'
I let them sleep on my lap and eventually fell asleep as well.
