Even someone as formidable as Kaido, one of the Yonko, widened his eyes in shock. Feeling the overwhelming pressure emanating from the slip of paper, his face twisted in astonishment. "Conqueror's Haki?"
Boom!
A thunderous explosion erupted as the slip of paper disintegrated into ashes.
In the next moment, a supreme wave of Conqueror's Haki was unleashed in an eerie and unparalleled manner.
In an instant, the entire warship was enveloped in black and red flames of Haki, which pulsated with low-frequency vibrations that grew stronger with each wave.
This display not only stunned Kaido but also sent chills down the spines of the Beasts Pirates, from the Calamities to the cadres locked in combat with the Marines. The sheer force of the Haki struck at their very souls.
Faced with this strange and overwhelming release of Conqueror's Haki, Kaido dared not underestimate it. Without hesitation, he unleashed his own Conqueror's Haki to counter the incoming force.
As the two waves of Haki collided, a terrifying shockwave rippled outward, radiating from Sakazuki and Kaido at the center.
"We're doomed! We're doomed!"
"Sakazuki's Magma-Magma Fruit ability was already monstrous, but now he's awakened Conqueror's Haki? Governor Kaido's advantage is gone!"
"Shut up! Governor Kaido is the strongest creature on land, sea, and air! So what if Sakazuki has Conqueror's Haki? In the end, he'll still be defeated by the Governor!"
"Stop worrying about them! Someone help me! These Marines have gone insane—they're all completely mad!"
The members of the Beasts Pirates, though frightened by the sudden surge of Conqueror's Haki, had no time to dwell on it. With the appearance of this Haki, they noticed that the Marine soldiers had become even more frenzied. It was as if the Haki had infused them with boundless energy, reigniting their strength and unleashing a terrifying level of combat prowess.
Even Kaido, feeling the purity and dominance of this Haki, suppressed his inner shock as he locked eyes with Sakazuki, who stood with one foot pinning down his kanabo. "Sakazuki," Kaido growled, his voice heavy, "I didn't expect you to awaken Conqueror's Haki!"
Before Kaido could finish his sentence, he gripped his kanabo tightly, intensifying the Haki swirling around it. The overwhelming aura of the world's strongest creature surged forth, crashing toward Sakazuki like a tidal wave.
"You're mistaken, Kaido!"
Sakazuki's magma-coated arms continued to drip molten rock as he stood firm, his aura no less imposing than Kaido's. "This is Fleet Admiral Xayuki's Conqueror's Haki, stored within the slip of paper. Though it was casually left behind by him, it's more than enough to suppress you!"
As the word "enough" left his lips, Sakazuki raised his head sharply. His magma-coated fist ignited with searing energy as he launched a devastating punch.
"Dark Hound!"
Boom!
A deafening explosion rang out as Kaido, distracted by the clash of Haki, was sent flying uncontrollably backward.
Before Kaido could regain his footing, Sakazuki charged forward with wide, deliberate strides. Without hesitation, he unleashed another magma-coated punch from a distance.
"Hound Blaze!"
With a low, chilling growl, Sakazuki's magma fist transformed into a snarling hellhound, brimming with destructive heat and energy, as it lunged toward Kaido with bared fangs.
"Sakazuki, what are you bragging about?!"
Kaido, now enraged by Sakazuki's words, roared furiously. He unleashed his Conqueror's Haki, wrapping it around his kanabo, and swung it with all his might at the incoming magma hound.
Boom!
The snarling magma hound shattered upon impact with Kaido's kanabo, erupting into a fiery explosion.
Kaido took a step forward, his imposing figure radiating strength as he bellowed, "What do you mean 'casually left behind'? On this sea, no one understands Conqueror's Haki better than me!"
"Is that so?"
Sakazuki smirked coldly. "Your so-called pride in Conqueror's Haki is nothing more than the bare minimum to stand before Fleet Admiral Xayuki. When you meet him, you'll understand just how vast the gap between you and him truly is!"
"Especially in the realm of Conqueror's Haki, compared to him, you're nothing more than a mayfly before the heavens!"
Meanwhile, aboard the Brachiosaurus, the flagship of the Beasts Pirates, even the distance of several hundred meters could not shield Queen and King from the overwhelming presence of the clashing Haki.
Standing on the deck, both were visibly shaken by the sheer force of the Haki waves.
"What's going on?"
"Did Sakazuki actually awaken Conqueror's Haki?"
Swish! Swish!
Before they could process the situation, several figures descended from the sky. Leading the charge was none other than Gion (Momousagi), accompanied by Kake (Chaton) and three Vice Admirals of the Momousagi Fleet.
"Momousagi!"
Seeing Gion approach once again, King, also known as The Conflagration, wasted no time. Transforming into his hybrid form, he ignited his sword with blazing flames and lunged toward Gion from above with a fierce slash.
"Kake, leave Queen to your team!"
Gion, unfazed by King's powerful attack, raised her blade, Konpira, and met him head-on.
Clang! Clang! Clang!
In the blink of an eye, Gion and King exchanged over a dozen ferocious blows in midair. Sparks flew as their blades clashed, and waves of cutting energy rippled outward, wreaking havoc in all directions.
"Momousagi, do you really think you can kill me?"
King, leveraging his hybrid form, skillfully dodged Gion's strikes while using the wings on his back to generate powerful wind blades that disrupted her attacks.
Gion remained silent, her focus unwavering as she seized every fleeting opportunity to unleash devastating slashes with Konpira. As their battle intensified, their attacks grew increasingly ferocious, with shockwaves crashing like thunder and tsunamis.
As Gion pressed her relentless assault, King parried her strikes and sneered, "I see you've donned the coat of an Admiral. But compared to the three Admirals, your strength is far inferior!"
"If you think you can take me down, you're sorely mistaken!"
Whoosh! Whoosh! BOOM!
Two powerful slashes collided violently, forcing both combatants to momentarily retreat. King, taking advantage of the distance, grabbed his head and pulled it back to an exaggerated angle.
Before Gion could react, King released his head, letting it snap forward with explosive force.
"Tempura Udon!"
The terrifying attack, enhanced by shockwaves, rapidly expanded in Gion's vision. With no time to block, she executed a desperate Shave (Soru), narrowly dodging the attack by mere meters.
As soon as she landed, Gion crouched low, gripping Konpira tightly. Her voice was calm yet resolute. "You're right. My strength is indeed not on par with the three Admirals."
"However—"
Gion suddenly straightened, her aura surging to its peak.
"For the Fleet Admiral!"
"I shall do the impossible. None shall escape my blade!"
