Spring.
Warm winds danced across the riverbanks.Cherry blossoms bloomed a little too early this year â as if time itself was celebrating with them.
There were no more time loops.No resets. No Chronos. No glitches.Just one life.
One timeline.
The one they chose together.
Sarah sat on a bench, sketching something in her old notebook.KentarĹ stood behind her, watching the pages fill with soft pencil strokes.
"You still draw the rooftop," he said.
She looked up and smiled.
"That's where I always find you."
đŤ Scene 1 â A Life That Hurts Just Right
They lived quietly now.No alternate versions. No memory echoes. No vanishing friends.Just the quiet hum of real days.
Sarah took up teaching art part-time at the community center.KentarĹ helped fix clocks in the backroom of a bookstore. Ironic, perhaps â but he liked the stillness of it.
Sometimes, they'd get fragments. Dreams. A familiar laugh in a crowd. A scent that pulled tears out of nowhere.
But they didn't chase those echoes anymore.
They just held hands through them.
"I don't want perfect anymore," she told him one night.
"Just real."
đ°ď¸ Scene 2 â The Last Artifact
One day, an envelope arrived. No return address. No postmark.
Inside, a single photo.
It showed them â on the rooftop â but years ago. A moment they never lived.
"World Line 44," KentarĹ said.
They turned the photo over.
Written on the back, in Daichi's handwriting:
"You made it."
đ Scene 3 â The Apple Stand
They visited the old university town.
The fruit vendor was still there. A little older, a little grumpier.
"Still fighting customers over two rupees?" KentarĹ joked.
The vendor looked confused.
"Have we met before?"
Sarah stepped forward, smiled, and handed him the exact change.
"No... but I think you overcharged me last time."
đ Scene 4 â Rooftop Under Moonlight Again
That evening, they climbed to the old university rooftop â now sealed off, forgotten by most.
The door creaked open like an old memory.
They sat together, watching the moon rise over the quiet city skyline.
"You know what's strange?" Sarah whispered.
"What?"
"We've said goodbye in so many timelines⌠but this is the only one where I'm scared to say hello."
KentarĹ reached into his coat.
Pulled out a tiny box.
Opened it.
Inside: a simple ring.
No inscription.No magic.No Chronos mark.
Just a promise.
"Then let's not say hello."
"Let's say stay."
đ Final Scene â A Real Beginning
He didn't kneel.
She didn't cry.
There were no stars falling or clocks spinning backward.
Just her nodding.Him placing the ring.And the night accepting their choice.
The final timeline.
The real one.
The one where love didn't have to be earned again.
It simply stayed.
