Scene 1
Cherry was about to leave when she saw him—
Jin.
Standing at the end of the hallway like he was waiting for her.
Jin: "Cherry."
She didn't stop.
He grabbed her wrist, pulling her back gently.
Cherry: "Let go."
Jin: "I won't."
Cherry: "This again? You always come back when I finally start breathing right."
Jin: "You call this breathing?"
His voice was calm, but his eyes were storming.
She pulled her hand, but he didn't let go.
Cherry: "Stop acting like we're still something."
Jin: "We are."
Cherry: "We're not. You ended it. Remember?"
She looked away and walked past him, fast.
But his hand grabbed her wrist.
Jin: "I was scared, okay?"
His voice cracked slightly.
Jin: "I didn't know how to love you right. I still don't. But I—"
Cherry: "Don't say it."
Cherry: "You left, Jin. You moved on. So did I."
Jin: "Don't lie to me."
He took a step closer. Her back touched the wall.
Her breath got caught.
Cherry: "You're being delusional."
Jin: softly "Then let me be."
Before she could say anything else, he leaned in and kissed her.
Not gentle. Not rough. Just real.
She didn't kiss back.
But she didn't push him away either.
When he pulled back, his voice was low—
Jin: "You're mine, Cherry."
She hated that she still felt something.
She hated that it still hurt.
She looked down and whispered—
Cherry: "I wish I wasn't."
Scene 2
A few steps away, behind a wall, Jini had seen it all.
She didn't mean to eavesdrop, but she couldn't move.
Jini: "They… still love each other."
Jack: softly from behind "Love doesn't just vanish."
She turned to him, eyes unsure.
Jini: "Do you believe that?"
Jack didn't answer. He just looked at her—
like he already knew his answer.
Scene 3 (on rooftop)
Jack: "You okay?"
She didn't notice he was there. But somehow, his presence felt calm.
Jini: "You ever loved someone who kept hurting you… but you still wanted to stay?"
Jack sat beside her.
Jack: "I did once."
Jini: glancing at him "What happened?"
Jack: pausing "She never knew."
That made her stop.
They looked at each other for a long moment—
a quiet understanding between two people who had been through too much.
Then Jini spoke softly—
Jini: "Do you think Cherry still loves Jin?"
Jack: "She never stopped."
She nodded. Then whispered—
Jini: "Love's scary."
Jack: smiling faintly "But sometimes… it's worth the fear."
They didn't say anything after that.
Just sat in silence.
