Chapter 13: Nas-Khural.
"You can help. You can help in so many ways. But for the first step....you have to push open the door," Nas-Khural's voice resonated deeply in his ears, as if trying to prove to his heart that this was the only path.
And it was right, this was the onky path forward. He could walk away right now and forget the events that had just taken place. But why would he?
He wasn't a coward okay with the fact that killing his loved ones could be easily brushed off.
No, he wanted revenge. He wanted death. He wanted them all to regret!
" This is where it all goes down. My actions from today would shape me forever. Am I ready?" He had doubts. If he walked into the prison chamber of a god, then what? Would he take over his body? Would he offer him power? I mean how much difference can a god whose entire divine essence has been chained?
What then?
* Well, there's only one way to find out,* he placed his hand on the surface of the door. He heart was pounding as his breathing increased.
" One step. That all it takes....Take the step!!" Nas-Khural said and as if his blood was boiling, his pale skin turned red as he pushed open the door!
Rraaaaa!!!
The wind howled like a giant in rage. It felt like it too had been chained in that prison, now happy that it could live it's hell.
But unlike the sensation of joy from the wind, Solarien just felt cold. His heart and blood ran cold as his eyes beheld the scene in front of him.
Chains as large as the kingdom's roads and thick as the skin of a thousand elephants. Strange mysterious glowing runes were carved onto these surreal binders, as if they were items cursed to chain the world into suffering.
" Soul binder," Solarien exclaimed with shock as he stared deeply at the chains. He recognized them. For a prince it was very much necessary for him to be able to recognize the top ten most powerful divine weapons in existence.
And if he remembered correctly, there was a chain ranked thrid on the list called soul binder. It was said that the weapon was a monstrousity of weapons.
The weapon was known to be able to bind the soul and magic vein of the victims. It was so powerful at binding that it could even bind and capture gods. Not one, but two gods could be captured and bounded by this weapon.
The worst of all was that the victim of this weapons binding powers is that whosoever is bounded by this chain would face an eternity of suffering as their soul would slowly be burnt and regenerated every single passing second.
Meaning even if he or she wants to die, it is absolutely impossible as their souls would always and forever be bounded by the chains.
* So this was how they were able to chain such a powerful and divine being such as Nas-Khural without him breaking out. Because of this weapon* Sol thought deeply to himself, as if already having understood it all.
" Young soul, I am still awaiting your presence," a solemn voice broke him out of his thoughts, reminding Sol the reason for his coming in here.
And just like that, his expression transformed as he looked around him, tracing the chains roots.
He was inside a primitive like giant cave with one end of soul binder being strapped onto the walls, as the other end of the mysterious chains sinking in deeper into the cave.
Looking forward, he saw nothing but darkness.
* That's probably where he is,* Solarien thought, as he began walking deeper and deeper into the cave, slowly being consumed by the everlasting darkness of that cave.
Soon, he reached a place where the chains covered together, as they help up a being, or more like...an outline.
In that darkness, as the chains converged together and held the being suspended in the air, Sol tried examining his face.
But unexpectedly....
He couldn't see the being's face, not even his body. Heck! All he was able to see was an outline of someone, and everytime he tried to look closer, all he saw was a mirage converting the body.
" Do not try to see how I look. Mortals cannot see the face of a divine unless allowed," A voce coming in the direction of the outline suddenly resounded in the air, causing Sol to halt his attempt.
" Nas-Khural. You promise me strength," his mind was so clouded with grief and revenge that he had forgotten that when speaking to a god, he was meant to bow and talk respectfully.
" I did. Didn't I? But...you will have to do something for me. I want your soul,"
