As Lily came downstairs, Julian Blackwood's eyes scanned her outfit. She wore black tights, a crop top, and a black jacket, her hair neatly tied in a ponytail. For a moment, Julian's expression remained neutral, but then he spoke up.
"Little Yellow, you can't wear that," he said, his voice firm but polite. "I have something more suitable for you."
He pulled out a box from his car and handed it to Lily. Inside, she found a stunning orange gown with intricate details. The dress sparkled in the fading light, and Lily couldn't help but be drawn to its beauty.
"Put it on," Julian instructed, his eyes expectant.
Lily hesitated, unsure if she wanted to comply. But something about Julian's confidence made her curious. She took the dress and headed back upstairs, feeling a mix of excitement and annoyance.
As she changed into the gown, Lily couldn't help but feel a sense of transformation. The dress fit her perfectly, and she felt like a different person. When she came back down, Julian's eyes lingered on her, a hint of approval in his gaze.
"Much better," he said, offering his arm. "Shall we?"
Lily took his arm, feeling a spark of electricity as their skin touched. As they walked towards the car, Julian's bodyguard stood waiting, discreetly opening the door for them.
"Wait outside," Julian instructed the bodyguard. "We'll come out when we're ready."
Lily felt a flutter in her chest as Julian followed her into the apartment for a brief moment, his eyes scanning the space. She wasn't sure she liked the idea of him in her private world, but she couldn't deny the thrill of his presence.
As Lily walked into the bathroom to change, she couldn't help but feel a sense of unease. Julian Blackwood was sitting on her sofa, waiting for her, and she felt like she was under his scrutiny.
She quickly changed into the orange gown, smoothing out the fabric and adjusting the fit. When she looked in the mirror, she barely recognized herself. The dress was stunning, and she felt like a completely different person.
Taking a deep breath, Lily stepped out of the bathroom and into the living room. Julian looked up from his phone, his eyes locking onto hers. For a moment, they just stared at each other, the tension between them palpable.
"You look beautiful," Julian said finally, his voice low and husky.
Lily felt a flush rise to her cheeks as she looked away, trying to play it cool. "Thanks," she muttered, smoothing out the dress.
Julian stood up, his eyes never leaving hers. "Shall we?" he asked, offering his arm.
Lily hesitated for a moment before taking it, feeling a spark of electricity as their skin touched. As they walked out of the apartment, she couldn't help but wonder what the night had in store for her.
The bodyguard was waiting outside, discreetly opening the car door for them. Julian helped Lily into the car, his hand brushing against her skin as she slid into the seat.
As they drove away from her apartment, Lily felt a sense of excitement mixed with trepidation. What would the night bring? And what did Julian Blackwood really want from her?
" I'm a virgin "
Julian's eyes widened slightly, a look of surprise crossing his face. "A virgin?" he repeated, his voice low and thoughtful. "I wouldn't have guessed."
Lily shrugged, feeling a bit self-conscious. "I just never...I don't know, it just never seemed like the right time, I guess."
Julian nodded, his expression turning contemplative. "I see," he said, his voice neutral. "Well, I suppose it's not uncommon. Some people just choose to wait, right?"
The conversation paused for a moment, with Lily wondering what Julian was thinking. Then he spoke up again.
"So, what made you decide to tell me that?" he asked, his eyes locked onto hers.
Lily's cheeks flushed slightly as she met Julian's gaze. "I don't know, I just felt like being honest, I guess," she said, her voice soft. "You're easy to talk to."
Julian's expression softened, and he leaned back in his chair. "I'm glad you feel comfortable around me," he said, his voice gentle. "I think it's nice that you're...particular about who you choose to share that with."
The two sat in comfortable silence for a moment, the only sound being the soft clinking of silverware against plates.
Julian's eyes locked onto Lily's, his expression serious. "There's something I need to discuss with you," he said, his voice firm but gentle. "As my girlfriend, I expect you to be involved in certain...aspects of my life."
Lily's curiosity was piqued. "What do you mean?" she asked, her voice neutral.
Julian leaned forward, his eyes never leaving hers. "I think it would be best if you moved in with me," he said, his voice matter-of-fact. "It would simplify things, and we'd be able to spend more time together."
Lily's thoughts racing, she considered his words. What did she really know about Julian, after all? And what would it mean to live with him?
Lily nodded, agreeing to move in. "Okay, I'll make the necessary arrangements," she said.
Julian smiled, seeming to approve of her decision. "Good. I'll have my maid, Rachel, show you around the mansion and help you choose a room. She'll also assist you with anything you need."
Lily followed Rachel, who gave her a tour of the mansion's spacious rooms and beautifully landscaped gardens. After seeing several options, Lily picked a cozy room with a lovely view.
Later that day, Lily returned to her apartment to pack her belongings. When Julian asked when she'd be moving in, she replied, "I'll come over when I'm ready. After all, the contract does say I need to live with you."
Julian nodded, seeming to accept her response.
