Chapter 117 - Chapter 117: Yukinoshita Meowno

The three of them spent the entire morning at the tennis court.

By lunchtime, Yukinoshita Yukino led Yuigahama Yui to the ramen shop they had visited last time.

The ramen shop owner still remembered the two girls. Upon seeing Su Yu, he greeted him with a knowing smile.

"The usual best ramen?"

"Yeah."

Su Yu took his seat, already familiar with the ramen here and quite fond of it.

Yukino had brought Yui here not because it was the closest option—she simply wanted to share something she liked with Yui.

Yui sniffed the air, her face filled with anticipation.

As expected, the ramen uncle did not disappoint.

The flavors this time were different from before, but equally delicious.

Yui even finished the soup.

After leaving the ramen shop.

The three of them took the train to an area near the zoo.

Yui wanted to see the pandas together with Yukino.

Since Yukino wasn't entirely comfortable in crowded places, she had been a bit hesitant at first.

Luckily, the zoo wasn't too packed today.

One thing to note—Yukino loved cats.

Whether it was regular house cats, pandas, or any animal with "cat" in its name, she liked them all.

Watching the sparkle in her eyes, Su Yu had a sudden thought—

She should change her name to Yukinoshita Meowno.

Who knew? Maybe in her past life, she was an adorable little cat.

"Su Yu-kun, take a picture for me," Yukino turned around and requested.

"Of course, Yukinoshita Meowno," Su Yu said, raising his phone.

Yui quickly squeezed into the frame.

"Let's take one together, Yukino!"

And so, a picture was taken—of the two girls with an owl.

…An owl that would never know it had just been categorized as a feline in Yukino's mind.

Even though not every animal here had "cat" in its name, Yukino still took photos with them since she rarely visited the zoo.

When they finally reached the panda exhibit—

"Su Yu-kun, I heard that in some places, every household keeps a panda as a pet. Is that true?" Yukino asked with complete seriousness.

"…"

Su Yu was speechless.

Fortunately, the panda today was being cooperative, sitting close to the visitors.

Yukino took a photo with it, her face lighting up with happiness.

Seeing her reaction, Yui smiled—bringing Yukino to the zoo had been a great idea.

But, of course, this wasn't even the highlight of the day.

At the Zoo Gift Shop.

As soon as Yukino walked in, she was met with shelves upon shelves of panda merchandise.

"This, this, and this—please give me one of each," she instructed the store clerk without hesitation.

The clerk blinked in surprise before quickly gathering the requested items.

Su Yu wasn't the least bit surprised.

Yui, watching as Yukino enthusiastically selected panda merchandise, smiled before wandering off to check out other things.

A few minutes later—

She discovered something interesting in the corner of the store.

"Yukino is definitely going to love this!"

With excitement in her eyes, Yui grabbed the item and snuck up behind Yukino, placing it on her head.

Yukino froze, then turned around to look at her.

"Su Yu-kun, what do you think? Isn't Yukino super cute?" Yui grinned.

"Yukino, don't move. Let me take a picture," Su Yu said, raising his phone.

Still confused, Yukino let Yui cling to her as Su Yu took a photo.

Only then did she finally see what had been placed on her head—

A cat-ear headband.

She had officially become Yukinoshita Meowno.

"If only they had a matching tail," Su Yu said wistfully.

"You… What exactly are you imagining?!" Yukino's face turned bright red, as if she had thought of something highly inappropriate.

"I was just thinking about something fun," Su Yu replied with an expression that made his intentions very clear.

"Stop thinking about it!" Yukino clenched her small fists in frustration—but she only looked more adorable.

"Su Yu-kun, look over here!"

Yui had grabbed another cat-ear headband and placed it on her own head.

"Yui, this doesn't suit you," Su Yu commented after glancing at her.

"What does suit me then?" Yui puffed up her cheeks in slight annoyance.

"Something like… devil horns," Su Yu said seriously. "Paired with a leather outfit. One that really shows off your figure."

Yui froze for a moment.

Then, her face turned scarlet, and she shot him a glare.

That kind of outfit—there was no way it was proper.

But… if it was just for Su Yu to see, then… she might consider it.

The three of them lingered in the shop for quite a while.

Just as they were about to leave—

Su Yu's phone rang.

It was Haruno.

After a brief hesitation, he answered.

"I had my secretary redecorate that room for you. I also added some tools for your manga work. There are a few motorcycles in the underground parking lot. The drawer in your room has your motorcycle license," Haruno stated casually.

"…Thanks," Su Yu said after a moment.

"Be good to Yukino."

With that, Haruno hung up.

Su Yu stared at the disconnected call, already understanding her thoughts.

After what happened this morning, Haruno had technically lost their little game.

Now, by giving Su Yu that room, she was making it official—handing it over to him, and everything else was just an added bonus.

If Su Yu were a bit older, he probably would've received a few cars.

But since he wasn't, Haruno settled for giving him motorcycles instead—getting a license for him was nothing to her.

She also had full confidence that Su Yu would be able to learn how to ride them in no time.

"What's wrong?" Yukino walked up beside him.

"Your sister called. She's giving me that room—it's officially mine now," Su Yu said with a smile.

"I was going to talk to her about it. She probably noticed the clothes in the wardrobe," Yukino murmured.

"Yukino, do you want me to move into your apartment and live with you?" Su Yu teased.

"I-I don't want that!" Yukino's face turned red instantly.

"I have a key to your place. I can visit whenever I want," Su Yu said knowingly.

She definitely wanted him to move in—but it wasn't the right time yet.

Occasionally spending the night was fine.

But if he fully moved in, within a week, he'd be facing off against Yukinoshita's mother.

"If… If my mother finds out, you have to tell me immediately. I'll face her with you," Yukino said firmly.

Clearly, she had thought of the same thing.

"Relax. I think she's somewhat satisfied with me. If she wasn't, she would've confronted me already. Honestly, I kind of hope she does," Su Yu chuckled.

"Why?" Yukino asked, narrowing her eyes.

"That way, she could ask how much money it would take for me to leave you. And then, I could righteously tell her—'Yukino is priceless. No amount of money could make me give her up.'"

Su Yu took her hand with a teasing grin.

Yukino rolled her eyes at him.
