Yukinoshita Yukino actually admitted she was jealous.
Su Yu was stunned for a few seconds.
Then, as a small form of compensation, he leaned in and—
By the time the two of them brought dinner to the table, Yuigahama Yui glanced at them and immediately noticed the faint blush on Yukino's face.
She chuckled softly.
Yukino, embarrassed, lowered her head.
Meanwhile, Su Yu remained unfazed and took his seat between the two girls.
The three of them ate in silence.
Yui had plenty to say, but since the atmosphere was so peaceful, she didn't want to break it.
Yukino wanted to discuss the progress of Madoka Magica, but she was still feeling shy from earlier.
Su Yu, on the other hand, was thinking about their upcoming date tomorrow—a date for three.
Soon, dinner was over.
While Yukino and Yui cleaned up the dishes, Su Yu began reading the letters from his Yuru Camp readers.
He planned to respond via video.
He hadn't told Editor Tamura about this yet, but there were already enough letters to justify it.
Still, there was no rush—he could inform Tamura tomorrow.
Once the girls finished cleaning up, they returned from the kitchen.
Su Yu glanced at them before continuing to read the letters.
"Yukino, let's take a bath together! I brought my pajamas," Yui suggested cheerfully.
"Yuigahama-san, that sounds… dangerous," Yukino instinctively took a step back.
"Eh?" Yui was caught off guard.
"Come read these letters with me," Su Yu called out to her.
"Okay… I guess," Yui replied, slightly disappointed.
"Thank you, Su Yu-kun," Yukino said, then promptly left for her bedroom.
Yui sat beside Su Yu, feeling like Yukino had just labeled her as some kind of weirdo.
There was only one possible explanation—
"Su Yu-kun, this is all your fault! I wanted to have a nice chat with Yukino," Yui pouted.
"Yui, a nice chat doesn't have to happen in the bath," Su Yu said without looking up.
"I… I just wanted to be closer to her…"
"That statement confirms it—you definitely have strange thoughts about Yukino."
"I-I do not! I just really like her!"
"I'll make sure Yukino keeps her guard up around you."
"Su Yu-kun, you're so mean!"
"Actually, if you had gone to the bath with her, it might've made her feel self-conscious."
Hearing this, Yui's cheeks instantly turned red.
She understood what he meant.
And yes, that was a possibility.
An hour later.
Yukino walked out of the bathroom, now dressed in her pajamas, and entered the living room.
Yui blinked at her.
"Yuigahama-san, why do you look like you're… pitying me?" Yukino asked suspiciously.
"I-I'm not! I just… think you look really cute," Yui stammered, avoiding eye contact.
"Alright, it's your turn for the bath. I need to talk to Yukino about the anime project," Su Yu said to Yui.
"Okay, okay!" Yui grabbed her pajamas and headed toward the bathroom.
Yukino watched her leave, then sat down at a distance from Su Yu and began drying her hair with a blow dryer.
Su Yu had finished reading the fan letters by now and was watching her instead.
When Yukino finished drying her hair and turned around, her face turned slightly red upon meeting his gaze.
Su Yu smiled and moved closer to her, gently wrapping his arms around her.
Yukino didn't resist, resting her head against his chest.
Su Yu's hand slowly moved upward—
Immediately, Yukino's face burned hot.
"Yukino, you still have plenty of room for improvement," Su Yu murmured teasingly.
"Y-You…!"
Blushing furiously, Yukino turned to glare at him—only to be silenced by a kiss.
It lasted quite a while.
When Su Yu finally pulled away, he smirked at her.
"Why are you so skilled? Just how many times have you kissed Yui?" Yukino asked, both embarrassed and irritated.
"Uh… A lot," Su Yu admitted, looking slightly awkward.
He hadn't expected her to say that exact iconic line.
His stomach was already starting to hurt.
Oh no… Wait, it's not that time yet.
"You're such a terrible guy!" Yukino playfully punched him before leaning back into his embrace.
"Yukino, can I hold you while we sleep tonight?" Su Yu whispered.
"Don't even think about it!" Yukino huffed.
"That's a shame," Su Yu sighed dramatically.
"Hmph, don't think I don't know what you're planning. Even if Yui agrees, I won't allow it."
"Then you two should talk things out. I'll go sleep in your sister's room."
"Nee-san isn't coming tonight. I doubt she'd mind if you used it."
"I told you—she likes me."
Yukino rolled her eyes at him.
Su Yu held her a little tighter, his hands once again starting to wander.
Yukino's face turned an even deeper shade of red, but she didn't stop him.
Seeing this, Su Yu knew not to push his luck too far.
Meanwhile…
Yui stepped out of the bathroom, dressed in her pajamas, only to find that both Su Yu and Yukino were missing.
She blinked in confusion, then walked toward Yukino's bedroom door.
Just as she was about to knock, she hesitated.
Instead, she pressed her ear against the door.
"Did you hear anything?"
A voice suddenly spoke behind her.
"N-No, I didn't. This door has good soundproo—" Yui trailed off, realizing what just happened.
Turning around, she saw Su Yu standing there with a smirk.
Her face instantly turned red, and she lowered her head in embarrassment.
Su Yu stepped closer and flicked her forehead.
"Ow…" Yui pouted and covered her forehead, too shy to say anything.
Then, Su Yu knocked on Yukino's door.
A few seconds later, Yukino opened it.
Seeing Su Yu and Yui together, her cheeks turned pink.
"Yui thought I was in your room and assumed we were doing something questionable," Su Yu stated bluntly.
"Huh?" Yukino was momentarily stunned.
Then, as realization hit, she turned bright red and glared at Su Yu.
"Why would you say that out loud?!"
Yui, meanwhile, had already buried her face in her hands out of sheer embarrassment.
"Yuigahama-san, ignore him. He's a terrible person, and I don't believe a word he says," Yukino sighed, stepping aside to let Yui in.
"Good night," Su Yu said with a smirk.
Yukino let out a huff and closed the door.
Su Yu chuckled to himself before heading toward the bedroom Yukinoshita Haruno used to stay in.
Inside Yukino's bedroom.
Yui still looked flustered.
She had seriously thought that Su Yu and Yukino were… well…
But Yukino had defended her just now.
That made Yui feel both grateful and guilty.
"Alright, stop overthinking. If I were staying at your house, I'd probably be just as curious," Yukino said softly.
"R-Really?" Yui asked hesitantly.
Yukino nodded.
She wasn't lying.
