Chapter 450 - 450. Witch Hunter Rudolph

The County of Vichy borders the Kingdom of Elba. Under the coordination of the County Council, the first group of Elba refugees took a steam train to Fabro City.

The people of the Court of Justice dug three feet deep in Fabro City, but they couldn't find the furnace. Of course, they couldn't find Rudolf. Rudolf was sitting on the refugee train and slowly entered the station in Fabro City.

This train was not even a passenger train, but a converted freight train.

On the floor of the coal-carrying carriage, there was a layer of fine coal ash several centimeters thick. The inner wall of the carriage was also covered with coal ash. If you wipe it with your fingers, you can't even see the iron sheet under the coal ash.  The carriage also had no roof. It was transported from the refugee distribution point at the border and ran in the open air for several days.

The door of the carriage was opened, and the police officers of the Fabro City Police Department began to shout: "Elba people! Come down and register!"

The refugees, who were covered with black coal ash and their faces were covered with coal ash, jumped off the carriage with good physical strength, and rolled down with poor physical strength.

Standing on the ground again instead of in a swaying carriage, these refugees were very excited.

The police officers held batons and yelled at all the refugees to line up and go to the front to register.

Soon, it was Rudolph's turn to register. Rudolph saw a female police officer behind the registration desk.

Unfortunately, Rudolph wore a bat wing camouflage on his face, and Kelita couldn't recognize him. The processed bat wing webs can fit perfectly with the human face. Cooper performed the coffining technique on the webs, which is difficult for ordinary people to detect.

The bat wing webs changed Rudolph's face shape, making his face look very square and stunned.

  Kelita asked, "Name."

  "Rupert."

Kelita looked up at Rudolph and asked, "Have you been a miner before?"

  "No." "

Are you familiar with farm work?"

"As for farms, I used to go there often. You know, then there was a war and the farms were destroyed..."

Kelita had heard too many complaints from refugees today, but she didn't interrupt Rudolph. After Rudolph finished his chatter like other refugees, she flipped through a booklet and said,

"Since you are familiar with farm work, I'll assign you to the farm. The farm is easier than the mining area. I'll assign you there..."

Rudolph suddenly pointed to a booklet and said, "I think the name of this town is good."

Kelita picked up the booklet, which said 'List of Refugees Receiving in Leman Town', and was a little dazed for a moment.

"This town is pretty good, but it was destroyed most thoroughly by the wolf tide. Are you sure you want to go here?"

Rudolf nodded: "Let's go here. Can it be as bad as my hometown? At most, it's the same."

Kelita couldn't refute that the village of Elba, which had been baptized by war, was not necessarily worse than the wolf tide.

"Then go to Leman Town. Someone will take you to Leman Town in a while. When you go to Leman Town, someone will also assign you a farm."

Now the relationship between Fabro City and the werewolf tribe in the wilderness has improved a lot, so they are no longer afraid of the wolf tide.

Kelita looked at the increasing number of names on the "Leman Town Refugee Reception List" and had some expectations. Maybe in a few years, Leman Town will get rid of its original ruins.

This is a freight station. Refugees do not need to enter Fabro City, they will be sent to where they should go.

The warehouse of the freight station is empty, just right for making porridge.

In the huge iron pot, oats and non-lethal vegetables are cooked.

Rudolf did not queue up to get porridge and black bread, but sat next to the side door in the corner of the warehouse.     Soon, someone knocked on the outer wall regularly. Rudolf heard the knocking and stood up and walked to the side door.

There were three witch hunters outside the side door. Captain Perrin saw Rudolf and asked, "Please leave a blood certificate."

Rudolf bit his fingertips and dripped blood on the test paper brought by the witch hunters.

He still looked like a refugee, and his fingers were covered with coal dust left in the coal carriage, so this action was not as real as usual.

In fact, Rudolf stored some real Rupert's blood in his mouth, and this drop of blood was not Rudolf's.

The blood dripped on the test paper, and the witch hunters' special identity certificate method verified Rupert's identity.

  "Welcome back, Captain Rupert."

Witch hunter Rupert was sent to the border to forge a refugee identity, and then lurked among the refugees to find spies of the Elba nobles to reduce the damage caused by refugees to the city of Fabro.

Rudolf took out a piece of cloth. The surface of the cloth was dirty, and there were portraits of three people on it. Although the painting was poor, the characteristics were extremely distinct. The general facial features, as well as moles, scars and other notable features.

"This is the Elba noble spy I found recently. According to the process, you are responsible for cleaning it up."

Witch Hunter Perrin took the rag: "Okay, I will arrange people to clean up these spies. The Elba nobles are indeed up to no good and want to disrupt our refugee reception."

Rudolf asked: "Does the Judiciary have any arrangements for me? Or should I continue to lurk? I am now assigned to Leman Town like an ordinary refugee."

"Wait a moment, Captain Rupert. I will go and ask Director Mazu, who is at the freight station."

After more than ten minutes, the witch hunter Perrin came back with a document:

"Captain Rupert, I will now announce Director Mazu's decision.

After verification, the person on the list you provided was found and confirmed to be an Elba spy. You have completed this undercover mission excellently.

This is the appointment letter of the captain of the witch hunter squadron in Leman Town. Next, you will become the person in charge of the witch hunters in Leman Town and continue to monitor the refugees until the refugees are competent for their work."

After handing the official document to Rudolf, Perrin said: "Thank you for your hard work, Captain Rupert."

"For the Trial Bureau, for Director Arden, it's not hard."

Rudolf looked at the appointment letter in his hand and signed Rupert's name on it.

Perrin envied Rupert a little. He was Director Mazu's confidant, but the Rupert in front of him was the confidant of Acting Speaker Arden.

According to well-informed people in the Trial Bureau, Rupert was a direct spy of the former Director Arden and had been gathering intelligence for Acting Speaker Arden.

Captain Rupert was away all year round and had the right to report directly to Acting Speaker Arden.

One of the reasons why Director Mazu came to the freight station this time was to learn about the situation of the refugees through Rupert.

Now that Rupert has been recalled by Acting Speaker Arden, he is expected to be promoted soon.

"Captain Rupert, you are always on missions outside, so you must be careful when you come back. In addition to our work of screening refugee spies, we also have to cooperate with the Court of Inquisition to arrest wizard furnaces. You must be careful when facing the furnaces, and don't just follow the orders of the Court of Inquisition, otherwise you will be consumed as cannon fodder."

"Thank you for the reminder, the furnace is very dangerous, I will be very careful."

Perrin handed Rudolph a witch hunter badge, an oval badge with a wizard burning pattern inside. A stake stood on the vigorous flame, with a wizard tied to each side of the stake.

Rudolph sighed at the wonder of fate while stroking the witch hunter badge. After doing some tricks on Arden, Arden used the most secretive means to get him the identity of a witch hunter.

From now on, I will have to investigate myself. It will be so hard.
