It was another misty morning. Leyton walked to the second-floor balcony and glanced at the occupied house across the street.

"I haven't introduced myself yet! It's time for a proper introduction!"

Leyton muttered to himself.

Then, he turned and went back into his room, put on his coat, and prepared to leave.

"Boss, are you going out again?"

Bugs Bunny, who was already awake, held out some fruits.

"Yes, I'm going to visit the new neighbors across the street."

Leyton took the fruits Bugs Bunny offered and started eating them immediately.

Because he was too lazy to go out for breakfast, Bugs Bunny prepared fresh fruits for him every morning.

"Neighbors? I want to go too!"

Bugs Bunny turned around, took out a book from the tall black hat he had placed aside, put the hat back on his head, and adjusted his attire in front of the mirror.

Then, he went to the potted plant next to the sofa, picked some fresh fruits, and held them in his arms.

Bugs Bunny had already claimed the living room sofa as his own bed. He even moved a potted plant next to it and transformed it into a fruit tree.

He truly achieved what he had said before: being able to eat freshly picked fruits while lying down.

Leyton, still munching on fruit, took Bugs Bunny out to visit their neighbors across the street.

"Thump~ Thump~"

A knocking sound echoed. Although Klein was puzzled about who would be knocking at this hour, he put down the half-eaten buttered toast in his hand and got up to walk to the Door.

As soon as his hand touched the doorknob, two figures, one large and one small, appeared in his mind.

A blond teenager with glasses on his nose, looking about eighteen or nineteen, wearing a light brown trench coat in a style different from that of Loen.

Standing at his feet was a rabbit wearing a tall black hat, a small vest, small shoes, and a red bowtie around its neck.

"Al Tines? What is he doing here?"

Klein recognized the teenager standing outside the Door.

He opened the Door with some confusion, meeting the two pairs of eyes, one large and one small, staring at him. Klein inexplicably felt a bit awkward.

Klein cleared his throat and said,

"Ahem! You're looking for me? Is there something you need?"

"To visit the new neighbors!"

"Neighbors? You live here too?"

Klein looked at Leyton standing at the Door in surprise, blurting out in disbelief.

"Aren't you going to invite me in for a seat?"

Leyton glanced at the room behind Klein and said.

"Ah? Oh, please come in!"

Klein moved aside, gesturing for him to enter.

As Leyton stepped into the living room, he began to explain,

"I knew you would move here, so I came early. You can understand it as me foreseeing your future actions."

"Foreseeing?"

Klein murmured, then his attention was drawn to Bugs Bunny, who was standing at his feet and making a hand-raising gesture towards him.

Bugs Bunny offered the fruits in his hand to Klein:

"A gift!"

Klein looked at the gentlemanly dressed rabbit that could talk in surprise:

"For me?"

"Yes!" Bugs Bunny nodded in response.

"Take them. These are fruits it grew itself; they're quite fresh! This is my pet rabbit; he's my experimental assistant, my life assistant, and sometimes he even helps out in fights."

Leyton had already made himself comfortable on the living room sofa.

Klein accepted the fruits Bugs Bunny handed him, and under Bugs Bunny's wide-eyed gaze, he picked one up and took a bite:

"Crunch!"

"Hmm, the taste is quite good!"

Klein praised.

Bugs Bunny nodded contentedly, then hopped over and sat beside Leyton.

"Aren't you going to wash it before eating? It just picked them from the tree."

Leyton saw the other party directly bite into the fruit Bugs Bunny offered and couldn't help but remind him.

Klein silently placed the bitten fruit on the dining table nearby:

"You could have said something like this earlier next time!"

"Actually, it's fine. My rabbits and crows at home eat them directly. It's just an unwashed fruit; for a Beyonder, it won't have any effect."

Leyton explained with some embarrassment.

Klein nodded expressionlessly, remained silent for a moment, and then spoke:

"Do you also have any predictions about the matters in Tingen?"

"I know some things. Are you asking why I only arrived after the incident ended?"

Leyton was not surprised that Klein would ask this question and had even prepared his answer in advance.

"This matter involves some great existences. Hmm… you should know about 0-08. It's a Sealed Artifact evolved from a Sequence 1 Beyonder characteristic of the Spectator Pathway. Its appearance will inevitably attract the attention of that existence."

"I also stole a drop of the Eternal Blazing Sun's divine blood from the Church before, and it's highly probable that the Evernight Goddess discovered it."

"This triggered a series of chain reactions, forcing me to leave Tingen. I only rushed back after receiving Leonard's plea for help."

Leyton told the other party all the information that didn't need to be concealed, except for the fact that the Evernight Goddess's will was also involved in this incident.

Listening to Leyton's answer, Klein's eyes widened. If his intuition hadn't told him that the other party wasn't lying, he would have even thought it was just an excuse the other party made up.

He was very curious about both the Sequence 1 and that existence mentioned by the other party.

But the other party clearly considered him a Blessed of Mr. Fool. To maintain his and Mr. Fool's image, Klein found it inconvenient to directly inquire about these things, so he changed the question:

"How did you know about the Eternal Blazing Sun's divine blood? Was it also a prediction? Also, do you know Leonard?"

Leyton subconsciously reached up and touched his nose, then replied:

"I learned about it from you! Didn't you use that mutated Sun holy emblem to create two talismans back then? I met Leonard when I was stealing the divine blood, and it was thanks to his help that I was able to successfully obtain that drop of divine blood."

This answer left Klein silent for a while. He felt that he also bore some responsibility for the other party having the opportunity to steal the Eternal Blazing Sun's divine blood.

"It's truly audacious of you to do such a thing in the Goddess's church!"

Ultimately, Klein could only utter this one remark, filled with a sense of emotion.

"And then I was kicked out of Tingen!"

Leyton spread his hands, an expression of helplessness on his face.

"The Goddess not directly bringing down divine punishment is already her benevolence towards you!"

Klein muttered in his heart, looking at the other party's unrepentant expression.

Leyton didn't care about Klein's opinion of him. He casually took out two Sun domain talismans from his coat pocket and threw them to the other party:

"Two Sun domain talismans, corresponding to the Beyonder abilities of Light Flame and Purification Slash. The incantation to activate them is 'Sun'. Consider it compensation for you leading me to discover that drop of the Eternal Blazing Sun's divine blood."

Klein took the talismans, examined them in his hand, then put them into his pocket. Since those two Sun Flame talismans had been used up, he had been lacking effective offensive means, so these two talismans came at a very opportune time.

"Thank you!" Klein sincerely thanked him.

"You're welcome. It's not your fault that your Sequence isn't high and you keep encountering so many things!"

Leyton sighed.

Klein pretended not to hear that remark and instead asked,

"Do you know any relatively easy ways to make money?"

"Robbing banks? Or killing people for their goods?"

Leyton instinctively replied that way.

Klein stared at Leyton. He was certain this guy was a dangerous individual, no wonder the Moses Ascetic Order was considered a cult by the orthodox churches.

"Aside from such illegal and disciplinary things." Klein added a sentence.

"Just kidding. I usually choose to hunt pirates with bounties at sea. They can provide Beyonder characteristics and also claim a hefty reward from the authorities."

Leyton shared his methods from his time at sea, which also happened to be Klein's future approach after going to sea. He then added:

"As for in the City, I borrowed some money from the East Borough gang members a few days ago, but I'm not sure if you can borrow any."

Klein sighed, feeling quite speechless:

"No wonder your Moses Ascetic Order is recognized as a cult by all the major orthodox churches."

Leyton then remembered that he hadn't introduced his identity to Klein, so he took the opportunity to say:

"I'm not familiar with the Moses Ascetic Order; strictly speaking, I even have a certain enmity with them. My identity is an official member of the Church of the God of Knowledge and Wisdom!"

"If you're short on money, you can borrow from me, of course, the kind that charges interest!"

"Church of the God of Knowledge and Wisdom? Aren't you one of the Hidden Sage's people?"

Klein stared wide-eyed at the guy in front of him.

"Working two jobs, getting two salaries! I even worked part-time as a pirate at sea in the first half of the year!"

Leyton said nonchalantly.

At this moment, Klein had only one thought: "A seasoned double-crosser!"

"I'd rather find a way to earn money myself. I'm worried your interest will be higher than the principal."

After some hesitation, Klein still rejected the other party's offer to lend him money. The three hundred pounds in his anonymous account were still enough for a while.

After chatting with Klein for a while, Leyton bid him farewell and left his house. Leyton returned to the house across the street, took off the Great Magician's Top Hat that Bugs Bunny was wearing, and prepared to study the Apprentice Pathway's Door ability to create his own Secrets Sorcerer techniques.

Klein picked up the unfinished buttered toast from the dining table and continued to eat his simple breakfast.

"A member of the Church of the God of Knowledge and Wisdom, also a person of the Hidden Sage, and at the same time moonlighting as a pirate at sea—how many identities does this guy have?"

Klein pondered the words Leyton had just said, intuitively believing that the other party had not told him everything.

"People who don't finish what they're saying are really annoying!"

"Sigh, I hope I can get more information from him as the Fool at the afternoon gathering."

After breakfast, Klein began to busy himself around the City, advertising his detective agency and also purchasing various mysticism materials.

Leyton, on the other hand, had been at home studying the Great Magician's Top Hat. Leyton had already finished analyzing the tricks attached to the hat, but there had been no progress on the "Door" ability.

"As the core ability of the Door Pathway, even the initial stage is so difficult! How am I supposed to study Traveler and Secrets Sorcerer later on?!"

Leyton lay back in the armchair, helplessly ruffling his hair. He even had the idea of asking Mr. Hughes for help to crush this hat into Beyonder characteristic.
