A/N: This system was inspired by the story "ASOIAF: Essence Of Gacha by LuFFy_158" I liked how simple it was. I made it less OP.

System online. Mission identified: Destroy all Horcruxes. Defeat or assist in the fall of Tom Riddle (Voldemort).
I stare at the system message as I lie in my large poster bed with the curtains closed. Luckily, each dorm room has four beds; therefore, Malfoy and his group took one, leaving Blaise and me by ourselves in a larger room with only two beds.
My eyes shine as my resolve has been set. Now, I just need to figure out how to finish this mission. I will have to take my time to plan.
I focus on a golden symbol at the corner of the interface, and it expands.

Use wisely. Or chaotically. Either way, it'll be entertaining.
The moment I whisper, "What the hell is a Gacha point?" In the dark, a low clank echoed through the Slytherin common room that only I could hear.
From thin air a strange machine phased into existence: clunky, colorful, and entirely out of place. It looked like something from a Japanese arcade… if that arcade had been possessed by a magical librarian with a flair for the dramatic.
Standing six feet tall, the Convergence Gacha Machine was an impossible fusion of worlds:
Its base was carved from enchanted marble with golden Hogwarts-style runes.
The body was classic bright red plastic, complete with a see-through sphere container packed with swirling, glowing capsules.
A coin slot flickered with purple light, marked "INSERT 3 GP."
Above it, in cursive script on a glowing marquee, it read, "Now Dispensing Reality... One Capsule at a Time."
I raise an eyebrow, circling it with my wand drawn.
The machine beeps politely and displays
[50 GP Detected]
Would you like to spend 30 GP for a 10x pull?
[YES] [NO]
A grin appears on my face as I read through everything carefully. I would have shouted in excitement, but I don't want to risk any loud noise, even if I cast Muffliato.
I tapped "YES," and the machine whirred to life. Lights blinked around the capsule container, and a magical gear inside began to crank.
CLANK. CLACK. CLUNK.
One by one, ten glowing plastic balls dropped into a golden chute below—each a different color, each humming softly.
I crouch down and pick up the first capsule, its shell warm to the touch and slightly vibrating. As I twist it open:
POOF.
A card burst from the capsule in a flash of mist, hovering briefly before me.
Steel Sword—Common
The moment I read the name, a spectral sword appears in a misty form, then vanishes.
My eyes widened. "Okay, okay… Now this is absolutely mental. I love it."
I crack open the second capsule.
Shadow Clone Jutsu—Epic
A puff of smoke filled the air beside me—two shadowy versions of myself flickered for a split second before dissolving.
"…I am never telling anyone about this machine," I mutter, hoarding the rest of the capsules like a first-year with too many Chocolate Frogs.
One by one, I twisted them open.
Each item didn't just appear; they turned into cards.
Literal floating cards.
Each one hovered in front of me, rotating slightly like it was proud of itself. They were thick, semi-transparent, and styled like the weird lovechild of a collectible trading card and a spell page from some magical journal.
The common cards—like Steel Sword, Sturdy Backpack, Grappling Rope, Old Potion Kit, Basic Toolkit, and (for some reason) a very Muggle 9mm Pistol—had plain white borders with flat images. They looked almost boring, like the background NPCs of inventory design.
Functional. Unimpressive. There.
Then came the Uncommons—Insulated Leather Gloves and Hogwarts Legacy Robes. Slightly more flair. Their borders shimmered faintly silver, and the item images had depth—like the robe's folds moved in a nonexistent breeze.
I pick up the Shadow Clone Jutsu card that I had pulled.
That card practically sang when it appeared. A soft shimmer rippled across its surface like oil on water. Holographic layers moved independently behind the text. The title glowed with rainbow foil, and behind it was an animated silhouette of me splitting into three blurry duplicates.
Epic Card.
Okay, so this one was meant to impress.
The description read: Creates 2 autonomous clones. Shares experience upon dismissal
I smirked. "Cosplaying Naruto was never on the bucket list, but… here we are."
And then, number ten.
The capsule hissed open, and a puff of silver mist unfurled like a theatrical fog machine had gotten stage fright.
Ezio Auditore—Rare
This one didn't just float.
It posed.
Ezio, hooded, cloaked, blades drawn, appeared as a projected silhouette before me for half a second before vanishing into smoke and then turning into a card.
The card's name was etched in silver foil, and the border pulsed subtly like it had a heartbeat. It had weight. Presence. Like it knew it was cooler than me and wasn't shy about it.
Character Card: Ezio Auditore—Assassin's Creed
Description:Stealth master, hidden blades, eagle vision, and parkour. Boosts infiltration missions.
The sheer possibilities with skills and powers available to me are mouthwatering. I go over each description carefully, making sure not to miss any details.
Sturdy Backpack—Common
Carries up to 20 item cards. Weather-resistant.
I don't know how I know, but I just… know. I raise my wand, tap the card, and it dissolves into sparkling mist. The magic does the rest.
I point my wand and tap it with intent, and then the card glows, spins, and dissolves into mist/light that forms into a black backpack that looks more like a rucksack.
I open it, and it looks normal, then I notice a small zipper inside; opening it reveals a pocket where cards would fit perfectly.
I grab all my cards and store them in. It shouldn't have fit, but it seems it is expanded to allow up to 20 cards. Nice.
I take them all out and lay them out straight on my bed. I decide to store all of them except 3 in my backpack for safekeeping and then store the backpack in my enchanted trunk that has many magical protections.
I set aside three: Ezio, Shadow Clone, and the Legacy Robes. Two are for use, and one is to wear later.
I pick up the card containing the robes and tap it with my wand. Once again it glows, spins, and forms into a velvet Slytherin robe I've seen before in the game.
I add it to my trunk to use for another day. My gaze focuses on the Rare Card.
I once again tap, but this time when it dissolves, the glittering smoke wraps around me and is absorbed into my body.
Information and skills are uploaded into my head, and I feel a sense of change in me that will change my outlook on life.
Lastly, I use the Shadow Clone Card, and once it is absorbed by me, I feel my magic become denser.
I set my wand down and made a cross with the index and middle fingers of my left hand, just like I remembered from the anime. It felt stupid. Ridiculous, even.
Until it worked.
I felt a soft tug on my magic, like casting a silent spell, but deeper. Instinctual. Then—
Pop.
A puff of smoke. A flicker of air pressure.
And there he was.
Me.
Same messy hair. Same amused smirk. Same slightly judgmental eyebrows.
I blinked. He blinked back.
"…Wow," I said. "So this is what it feels like to be judged by myself. Horrifying."
The clone crossed his arms and tilted his head, unimpressed. I mirrored him immediately, because of course I did.
We stood there like two sarcastic mirrors waiting for the punchline.
"I was already exhausted," I muttered. "Now there's two of me? Hogwarts isn't ready."
The clone gave a short nod of agreement, calm and composed.
I tilted my head slightly. "Alright then... let's see what else you can do."
I yawn slightly, noticing how late it has gotten. I make eye contact with myself while he smirks; I roll my eyes.
"Yeah, go for it." I say as I tuck myself in for some sleep.
I look up, and he's gone.
"Damn, I'm good." I mumble sleepily.

Clone P.O.V.
"The Boss will love how amazing we are."
I look down from a high beam, humming a classic rock song while thinking back on how I got here.
I was just wandering the halls, thinking, processing, maybe plotting a little, and the castle was just there, breathing around me like it wanted to be explored. No rules posted. No signs that said, "Hey, don't touch the centuries-old ghost-haunted staircase that moves when it's feeling whimsical."
So obviously, I touched it.
And then I fell off it.
Only, I didn't hit the ground.
Somewhere between the second and third floor, my body twisted mid-air, my foot catching the edge of a protruding support beam as I shifted weight like I'd been doing it since birth. My hands reached up, fingers hooking under a carved arch. I swung, dropped, and landed silently in a crouch.
I blinked.
Okay. That wasn't normal.
I stood slowly, testing the balance in my heels. Everything was… sharper. My limbs didn't feel heavier, just aligned. Like my body had been tuned like an instrument and now responded to things before I consciously did.
And that's when it clicked: Ezio's card wasn't just giving me options. It was giving me muscle memory.
I crept forward, boots ghosting over stone. The flickering torchlight along the walls should've cast harsh shadows, but I melted between them like I'd studied every flicker. My breathing slowed. My footsteps adjusted to the acoustics of the hallway without me thinking about it.
The corner ahead echoed with distant voices. I didn't panic.
Instead, I ducked into a side alcove—narrow, dark, and easy to miss.
My hands brushed the wall. A slight depression. I tapped my fingers, and the bricks clicked inward, revealing a crawlspace I would've never seen before.
Eagle Vision.
Blue hues spread across my vision like a HUD overlay in a video game. Outlines. Hotspots. Movement indicators. I could feel things—where footsteps had recently passed, which torch was enchanted to relight, and that the stone two paces ahead was loose.
I started to grin.
"This… is dangerously addicting."
I scaled a narrow ledge just for fun. Parkour instinct took over—vault here, twist there, balance along the top of an unused archway. I crouched and watched a couple of prefects pass by below, none the wiser.
From above, the castle looked different. More alive. Like it was inviting me deeper, daring me to learn its secrets.
Coming back to the present, I sit back on a beam high above the corridor, legs swinging.
"I'm definitely going to abuse this," I whisper to no one. "And I'm going to look amazing doing it."
Done for the night, I burst into smoke, letting my memories go to my sleeping boss.
