Chapter 9 - The Wedding Night II

Sera's lips curled with a daring intensity. Her eyes blazed with a fierceness shining like molten gold, challenging anyone to dare enter her realm of thrilling chaos.

"Say you want it."

The chains rattle with a short, vicious jerk that makes the headboard crack against the wall. His chest heaves and his whole body is slick with sweat. The white shirt is plastered to him like a second skin. The forbidden medicine has turned his every heartbeat into pushing. His throat started to get dry. His cheeks are red. His cock is brutally hard, twitching against the fine wool of his pants where Sera's weight pins him.

He looks up at her.

"No." The word hangs in the air. His once-vibrant grey eyes are nearly grey only.

His moans are bitten off like wire between his teeth, but his hip betrays him as it moves involuntarily upward, pressing the rigid length of himself against her. His breath catches every sound trying to escape and crushes it somewhere deep in his chest to make it never past his throat. His wrists twist in the cuffs.

She watches him with his curving lips.

"You want me to beg. NO WAY!"

His voice is barely a voice anymore. It gravels as if his throat is soaked in whisky. His lips are shaking at the consonants. Another involuntary thrust came from him. His body arched off the mattress against the chains.

"I'll say what's true. I'm hard enough and was about to go crazy."

"I want your body, but I want you more."

Sera kissed him slowly this time, but gentleness is worse than the needle, worse than the chains, as the drug has flayed every nerve, and softness is a kind of cruelty.

His mouth stays shut for two heartbeats. His jaw locks as he tries to refuse with principle, but then his lips part.

It's not surrender but rather a reflex.

He matches her. The rhythm is devastatingly unhurried. His tongue thoroughly traces hers. His breath comes in ragged pulls against her mouth. Both their breath furnace-hot, and the sweat rolling down their temples catches the low light like something expensive melting.

Her name. It was right there, caught between his teeth like a fish bone, "Se...."

Then bitten down.

She pulled back.

His eyes went wide and fixed on her. His stare was an abyss of depth where the gray in his irises seemed to dissolve completely. His chest rose and fell, contracting like a bellows stoking the flames of a fire, each breath a testament to his overwhelming presence in the moment.

"I want you to get off me."

A lie so transparent it's almost honest, but his hips roll up against her. His full, rigid length grinding against her center through the soaked fabric, and the sound that escapes him is barely human.

"I want you gone."

She held his wrists and looked at him.

"Say you want me."

Sera felt a desperate urge to stretch out the intensity that hung in the air. Yet, the burning of his skin and the deep crimson staining his cheeks hinted at a pathway leading him to embrace death.

With a swift motion, she ripped open his shirt, the buttons flying off in all directions. They clattered against the floor like a confession of the turmoil that surrounded them.

Her hands didn't hesitate to wander, and Callum started responding, but beneath his need was a tremor she could feel in his stare. A breath pulled too sharply, as if desire and hatred had become indistinguishable.

Then, after him, she stood bare before him. He didn't look away. His gaze bore into her. When she settled onto him, his every muscle tensed in response to the intimacy of the moment.

The room seemed to shrink to the intimate confines of the bed and the warmth radiating between their bodies. The golden light of the lamp flickered as it cast their shadows, enhancing the raw beauty of the scene. Each breath he took was a melody that intertwined with her own. The magnetic pull of their closeness was undeniable.

He kissed her as if wanting but not wanting to. His mouth was insistent. His lips moved desperately, finding the curve of her throat, to the hollow beneath her collarbone, to every place that made her gasp.

"Look at me," she whispered.

He did. And in his eyes she saw burns.

She drew him closer.

"Stop resisting, or we won't get any sleep."

She undid his thing.

Then she took him.

His whole body locks. His spine arches and chains click. A guttural sound rips out of him from somewhere below language. She was tight around him, and the slick heat of her swallowing his cock inch by inch registers through the aphrodisiac like a fist closing around a live wire.

His hips jerk once, but savagely.

"Mmmmm..." Sera groaned, gritting her lips.

His breathing is wrong. His pulse is hammering visibly in his throat. The drug is peaking. His sweat sheeting down his ribs, every vein in his forearms standing in sharp relief against the chains.

"Don't — stop."

Two words. Broken in the middle but goes both ways.

The first movement was a sharp sting that jolted through her, making her breath catch in her throat. Yet, she didn't retreat. Instead, she held his face between her hands as if his warmth could numb the ache.

As she shifted, the pain surged, but she found strength in his deep gaze. Each movement became a balance between pleasure and pain. Ignoring the hurt, she immersed herself in their connection.

His hips started moving upward, meeting hers. His forehead pressed to hers. Their breath mingled.

His mouth found hers the instant she leaned in. His head dropped with a chain-limited lunge, teeth grazing the swell of her breast before his tongue dragged a flat, obscene line across her nipple. Later, he started circling, sucking, pulling it between his lips with a pressure that borders her breath cruelly.

She kisses him. This time, he answers.

However, between breaths, his mouth keeps slipping and always working downwards. Again and again, hunting the hardened peak. His breath comes in short detonations against her skin. Each exhale is a blast of furnace heat that dampens her chest with condensation.

Sera unlocked the chain as drops of red began to bead along his wrists. The chain echoed in the stillness, but instead of taking the chance to escape, he remained fully immersed in the moment's intensity, feeling the rush of freedom intertwine with the pain.

His freed hands catch her hips. His grip is firm yet gentle. He lifts her off him and lays her back against the ruined sheets in one fluid motion. His body covers hers, and the shift in angle makes her gasp. His cock slides into her with a patience that costs him. He can feel it in his molars, the effort of holding back while the last embers of the drug scream at him to take it rugged.

But he watches her face.

As the tension gradually melts away from her brow, Sera feels an unexpected lightness in her breath. Each inhale becomes easier. In response to her changing demeanor, Callum pushes deeper, driven by an instinctive need to connect. His hips thrust forward with increasing urgency, the rhythm intensifying with every movement, as they become both lost in the growing fire between them.

"Mmmm.... move your hips to meet mine."

Callum said low and rough. His mouth against her ear, breath ragged, his cock buried to the hilt on a stroke that makes the bed frame groan.

"Mmmmmm...." Sera moaned.

The bedroom smells like sweat and ruin. Sheets twisted into ropes, the headboard split down its center seam, chain links scattered across the pillow like spent shell casings.

---

Grey pre-dawn light leaks through the windows.

He's on his back while she is pressed into the crook of his shoulder. Not because he pulled her there, but because the last round ended with both of them too wrecked to reposition.

His breathing is now even.

Her arm tightens around his waist. His jaw rests against the top of her head.

Yet both fail to see the beauty of their sleep.
