At night....
Luke's sleeping in Luna's arms still, it didn't stopped her from writing a letter for her lil' sister. After that, she sealed the letter and headed near the window to call the messenger dove. She whistled and the bird came. She attached the letter on the letter holder, wrap it to the dove, and petted it. "Please, deliver my message to my lil' sis Lura." Luna first feed the bird and later, it flew away.
Few days later....
The dove containing Luna's letter safely arrived at Lura's house. Due to distant travel and some weather conditions, the dove's arrival is delayed and it arrived at night time. Lura's peacefully sleeping on her bed but the dove's loud flappings disturbed her sleep. "WHO IN TOPHET'S FLAPPING AT NIGHT??!" She stood up and inpects the window. "A dove?" She opened the it and the dove's there, waiting for her to take the letter.
"Wait, this seal— *gasped!* It's from big sis!" Lura quickly opened the letter and gave food for the dove to eat. The letter says:
Dear Lura,
I hope you're doing well! I don't know when this letter's gonna arrive whether it's day or night, if it somehow disturbs your sleep, I apologized. Ahem! Anyway, I wanted to tell you something shocking. So, please listen well.
Lura, I'm a momshie now! And guess what? It's a boy named Luke! He looks a lot like me than his dadah!! Ehe! Our Lyfrienian blood sure is thick and strong!
"Woah??! What??! Big sis is a momshie now! Oh wow!! Time sure is fast!" Lura expresses.
But— my child's dadah is... Well, before I break the news, did you still remember that boy we met while we're hunting food inside the forest? You know, a boy named 'Lucas Licasffia'? Well, who would've thought he and I were engaged and had a child! What a surprising turn of events, right?
Lura gasped. "Oh my??! Lucas? That guy with a longish hair which we mistook as 'she'?! What a surprise! I can't believe he and big sis became couples!"
Wanna know our love story? Hmm? Hmm?? Well, once you'll get here, I'll tell you in detail but I just wanna tell you that our son, Luke, is born August 13 and he'll turn 1-yr old! Sweet, isn't?
"Oh, it's August 18 now. I guess I'm late. I'm ashamed."
It was the happiest day of my life, but... Truth will shock you. Lucas is not human but an infernal. Not just an any ordinary infernal but the son of the Void King who murdered our mother. I was a fool to believe he's a human due to his deceiving looks. I just found out after I gave birth to our son, Luke.
Lura's eyes widened. "What...?"
Lucas, the dadah of my son, he looks just like a human but he is a full-fledge infernal. That, I was deceived and let my guard down. I'm shocked and devastated. You and I both swore to wipe their existence from this Realm but — I can't kill my very own son. Luke is my flesh and blood formed by purest form of my love and that infernal. Ha! Look how the turn of events mocked me, making me a clown of my vow.
Though it violates our promise we made to mother, I don't want my son die. I want him to live and become a powerful warrior just like our mother and father! I'm sorry lil' sis, I'm a vow breaker.

Reading the entire letter, Lura can't help but surprised. "Out of all infernals, why it is a Void King? H— how did this happened?!" As she tries to process everything, suddenly— "Lura, are you awake?" A male voice is heard. "Come in, John!" The man known as John came out from the door. "What brings you here especially this late of night? Don't tell me you're going to comfort me of our dying child, again?"
John has a brown hair and eyes. He has a droopy eyes but have a blacksmith build. He has round face with a fringed up hairstyle and a Van Dyke beard type.
"I don't want to tackle such sensitive topic especially we recently lost our child, Lura. That's not what I'm here for. This news I'm going to share will surely shock you." Lura's curious. "Intriguing. Speak up, I'm all ears."
"Have you heard the hypocrisy swirling around in Southwest Empire, Caur'Bon Naura, lately?" John questions. "Yes, I'm aware. That disgusting country were experimenting in turning infernals into their manpower but no to avail. What's up with them?"
"Like you said, it is a failed experiment and since they've captured an army of them, they decided to unleash it all at Spau Rihaetti's quarters. Which means, your village who's located at the borders of the two empires will be wind up with chaos." Lura's eyes widened. "You say— WHAT?! That country unleashed the 1st batch of their failed experiment years ago and now they're doing again but in full-blown scale?!"
John nods and Lura grits. "Surely, mankind likes to stir up trouble! Worst same ol' habits of humanity." Lura quickly looked at the map. "Do you happen to know the exact location of that accursed facility where they conducted their inhumane experiments?" John looks at the map and point the location. "I can't exactly show the location but according to the findings of the previous year, where they unleashed the 1st batch of failed experiments, it's right here. Given the distance and the infernal's standard speed, it'll take—"
"5 days." Lura's horrified and remembered that her big sis is tending her lil' baby. "I... I need to get back!" She panickingly said. "My lil' sis needs me!" John's wondered. "Why? After all those years, why now?"
"It's not like I don't trust my sis in her battle prowess, she's the 1st in line of my mom's greatest feat but— given her situation right now, she won't make it!" Lura quickly packed her belongings. "What do you mean, Lura? What's happening to your big sis?" John's still confused but— "My big sis just became a mother of her 1-yr old son, John!" He gasped. "She— what?!"
"My big sis is a menace in battlefield, I know. Her war freakiness might lead her child in-danger! Or— given her current emotional state, I'm afraid her proficiency in battle weakened."
"She's raising her child as a single mom. So, I really need to go, John! I can't leave my big sis in her feeble state." Lura is panicking but John give her a warm embrace. "Fate didn't grant us our child perhaps there's a reason. But— take care on your journey always, Lura. Whenever you needed help, don't hesitate to contact me, understood?" Lura's expression softened and hugged him back. "I will, my love."
Later...
Lura prepares to embark with a horse, John waves his hand and Lura waves back. "Given the recent sighting, and my travel distance to the village, it should take me 5 days to arrive. That's my usual travel pace but I must quicken my pace, hoping I can make it in time." She gripped tightly. "Please be okay, big sis."
At the Void Realm...
4 days passed, the Kingdom is totally at peace. Several number of Swarm Infernals were gathering at the corpse mountain and start feasting. Lucas, on the other hand, just accepts his infernal instincts and surprisingly, the sensation he had before is not resurfacing anymore. It would seemed he's gotten used of the flesh.
Roquinito felt glad that Lucas' health gradually increased the time he's not picky but— the adviser noticed that Lucas' eyes filled with grief. That, he decided to ask. "Your majesty, may I interrupt you for a bit?" Lucas halt and faces Roquinito. "Speak, I'll listen." He then cleaned himself and proceed on listening. "Your majesty, first and foremost, I'm grateful for your health gradually increased in a span of year."
"I see.. I guess, thank you then?" Lucas doesn't know what to reply. "Despite all that, why do I see sadness in your eyes. It's lingering since you came back. May I have the honor to know? Not as your Adviser but a fellow infernal?" Lucas gone quiet. "Let's move somewhere secluded. I want to discuss this matter privately." So the two of them headed where less infernals are present.
Later....
"Roquinito, do you ever wondered the time I was absent, I've remained in the mortal realm longer than usual?" Roquinito rubs his chin. "I dunno what's your agenda in the mortal realm but according to the surviving infernal's report, you were hunt down by Lunaria."
"You, whose been with my father in his last moments, do you believe such allegations?" Roquinito shakes his head. "No. Still, the mob believes you were pursued by her, making everyone believe it."
"I see. That's quite sad to hear." Lucas looks disappointed. "Say your majesty, I'm quite curious what makes you stayed there longer than usual? I noticed your picky nature subsided right after you came back. Have you had your fill there to reawaken your inner infernal instincts?"
"Is that what you've observed from me recently?" Roquinito nods. "Yes, it sure is! Your health is improving lately and I couldn't be more happier but see you being that way." Lucas scratched his head. "I see... I didn't noticed. Guess I'm too preoccupied by my thoughts that I stopped thinking about being picky anymore." *clears throat* "Roquinito, the reason why I stayed longer than usual is— I've made love from a mortal."
Roquinito's eyelids widened. "You say — WHAT?! Well, given how you look human than an infernal, I guess it's quite understandable that a human will fall for you but you—? Your highness, is another story." *exhales* "It's quite a shocking discovery but — if you and that mortal bear great affection to each other, I'm afraid that mortal will soon bear your child. After all, Royal-blooded Anherion has a unique form of love which— in mortal term, mating."
"I understand, Roqunito. You don't have to repeat it." Lucas blushed. "During my stay there, I learned that they have their unique form of mating too. They — they... involve physical mating, bonding." Roquinito just stare there in shock. "Wait... Don't tell me you—?!" Lucas scratched his cheeks shyly as he blushed.
"Wow, you really have to cross the line just for the sake of knowledge, huh? Either way, what's this child be? A prince or a princess?" Lucas' face softened. "A prince." He looks up. "It's been a year, and my son— he's probably grown now. I just hope he's healthy and well-fed." Roquinito observes him and understood that Lucas affection to that mortal is genuine. "Would you want us to escort back your son, your majesty?"
"No, let my son live as a normal human at the mortal realm. I don't want to burden him with all the responsibilities at a young age, just as my father did." He looks at Roquinito. "I want him to live his life, carefree and burden-free from the crown. I will rule this kingdom as much as my predecessors did." He looks at his palm. "If something were to happen to me and wasn't able to return back in this realm, please rule this kingdom Roquinito."
"Don't say such horror, your majesty!" Roquinito clarifies. "Your citizen will only abide you, nothing more. If something were to happen to you, they'll never listen and start their own actions. They are indebted to your lineage ever since this kingdom is established. Your grandfather's feat gave them chances to redeem themaelves one last time to get back to the Tophet Layers they belonged. That's why all in this Kingdom are indebted to your lineage and is willing to do anything, even their lives, just so your line stays for generation." Roquinito smiled. "That's how the Void Kingdom loves the Royal-blooded Rulers, such as you, your majesty."
The two of them peacefully discussing and they didn't realized that someone overheard them, and it is an infernal who governs the ground. "King Lucas has an offspring at the Mortal Realm and it's a Prince?" It wondered.
"Anyways, what do you intend to do now your majesty?" Lucas is thinking. "I want to visit the mortal realm once more and see my son." Roquinito gone quiet. "I've always want to see him again. After all, we was still a newborn baby the moment I left him."
"Oh, as in— now?" Lucas gasped. "We— well... If it's okay." Roquinito is hesitating but seeing his eagerness, he's out of option. "Whatever you see fit, your majesty." Lucas eyes were gleaming with excitement. "Thank you, Roquinito." Roquinito crossed his arms. "Just be safe, okay?"
Lucas draws Nebulous and cut through space. "I will." Lucas entered the portal and vanished. Now, Roquinito's all alone. He saw that Lucas' sadness subsided when he mentions about Mortal Realm and his child. He starts comparing his mood during his arrival. "What an unexpected turn of events. Your father, Lian Sui, married a corpse infernal which is far beyond understanding, and now, you, King Lucas? Surely, you followed your father's insane quirks of weirdness, I admit."
"Humans and Infernals, bear love? Fate sure gives a deadly surprise." Roquinito head back to the Kingdom and the infernal who overheard them starts wondering. "If his majesty had a son, a prince, at Mortal Realm, he, too, must be honored!" He felt glad. "I can't wait to break this news to my fellow infernals." Lucas wished that his son, Luke, will live normally at the Mortal Realm, but given how their conversation is heard, the days of the child is at stake.
At the Mortal Realm...
Lucas arrived at the Village. His blissful and cheerful, looking forward meeting his son for over a year but— just as he looked at the Area, it would seem War broke out that sends timbers on Lucas. "What is going... on?!" Lucas, again, witnessed an army of Rogue infernals attacking as one. The whole town is in a verge of disarray. "These Rogue Infernals are just like before. They're attacking together, like a team...!" Just as he wondered, Lucas remembered Luna and baby Luke, thus, it made him worry and start moving.
"Please be okay you two... Please.... Please...." Lucas entered the town and given the situation, it's worse than he has expected. Still, the King desperately looking for his wife and child amidst chaos. The moment he arrived at the Soothsayer's house, where they originally lived, it is completely burned down. Near the perimeters, something shocking flashed in Lucas' eyes.
Luna's body lying motionless on the ground and a stake pierced through her heart. The horrific scene made the King tremble.
"No... No.... NO!!!!" He ran towards Luna. "Luna, who did this to y—" with Lucas' infernal sense of smell, his eyes portrays rage.
"Human....!"
