After checking his stats, Ren was quite satisfied with it. But at the same time, as he had no idea about the stats of the Dragon Seeking Maidens, he could not guess how much weaker he was compared to them.
So Ren decided that he was going to ask them about their levels after meeting them in the party. If he had an idea about what level of strength was required to become a B rank adventurer, then that would make it easier for him in future planning.
While thinking all this, Ren was done with his food and left the restaurant. Then he started to walk around this relatively poor district of the city.
Soon, Ren noticed something different. His body was feeling extremely light and he felt as if he could destroy a rock wall with his punch at the current moment.
Ren guessed that he was feeling like this because of the sudden strength gain that he had just experienced. So currently, he was feeling like stretching his body a bit.
Just as he was thinking this, as if the gods had listened to his prayer, Ren suddenly saw the scene of some burly middle aged men surrounding a group of young ones.
Getting interested in what was happening, Ren started to approch them and heard what they were saying.
"Hey kid, I just saw that you were submitting a Violet Moonshine flower in the guild reception. That was something that our "Band of Fierce Warriors" had planted in the Ricoli forest. So, why the hell did you pick it up ?"
While saying this, that man was glaring at three young boys and one young girl before them. Another man then spoke up.
"Wait, wait Max. There is no need to get so upset with them. They are just a bunch of brats and had made a mistake. So how about it. If you give us all the money you have earned from selling that flower and apologise to us by sending that little mage of yours to our room tonight, then we can forget about this ever happening."
The second man said all this with a nasty smirk on his face. Hearing this, one of the young man who had dull blonde hair and looked like the leader of the party spoke up -
"No way in hell the bullshit you're spouting is true. We did not even found that flower in the Ricoli forest in the first place."
Another boy from beside him also spoke up -
"Are you all trying to extort us of our money ? If we report it to the guild, all of your adventurer ids would be revoked."
Hearing that the boys were speaking back to him, the first man suddenly lost his temper. Then he immediately grabbed the leader boy and picked him up by his collars. Then he got ready to punch his lights out.
The remaining partners of the men also took action blocked the other three from helping the leader boy.
Even though these men were scunbags, it looked like they were still stronger than the young boys and girls.
If Ren just continued watching this, then the leader boy would definitely be beaten up.
So even though Ren was not sure if he was strong enough to defeat these men, he still decided to try and help the young boys and girl out.
After making up his mind, Ren started running. With his increased stats, he was quite a bit faster than usual and immediately reached the burly man who was lifting the leader boy.
With how suddenly Ren had appeared, the burly man failed to react in time. Taking advantage of that, Ren made a fist and punched the man in the stomach as hard as he could.
But the effect of that punch was more than what Ren had expected. The burly coughed up blood and was blown away by this. It was way stronger than what Ren had expected.
Seeing their strongest member getting blown away so easily, the remaining men lost their will to fight. They immediately spouted some cliched lines and run away with their tails between their legs.
At least they were decent enough to carry the first man with them who had now fainted after surviving Ren's punch.
When that man was blown away, his grip on the leader boy had loosened and he had fell down on the ground. After that he quickly lifted himself up and bowed to Ren in gratitude. Seeing their leader doing this, the other three also followed and did the same.

Ren spent some time taking with them and found out that they were young adventurers just like him and had registered with the guild just a month ago.
The leader boy was truly the leader of the party and his name was Josh. The female mage of the party was his sister and her name was Yuko. The other two were their childhood friend named Tim and Garry. They were all part of the team called "Dark Legion".
It turned out that all of them actually lived in the more affluent part of this city and they were here for a mission to find a cat. In his gratitude, Josh invited Ren to visit his house and Ren decided that he would do so another day.
Currently the Dark Legion was busy with their cat finding mission and Ren also needed to return to back to the inn. So all of them decided to meet up the next day and went on their separate ways.

After running away from Ren, those four men went to a back alley and tried to wake up their leader. After casting a healing spell on him and splashing some water on his face, he managed to finally wake up.
Immediately after that, he started the rage about what had happened.
One of the other man showed him a picture and it was picture of Ren that he had secretly taken with a magic tool.
Seeing this picture and remembering that the person who had beaten him was just a young man, this burly man became even more angry. His hostility toward Ren exploded and he decided to ruin this boy's life in any way he could.

As soon as this burly man focused his hostility toward Ren, a gem on Myra's bracelet lit up. Myra was very satisfied after her little fun session with Ren, so she was able to focus on her work again.
But when the gem lit up, she immediately stopped what she was doing and pressed the gem on her forehead. After a few second, her expression became chilly and she called out to the people who were also present in the room.
