Driving the car, along the road as he gradually left the city, its gates showing by the side mirrors, Elias looked at the never ending gray black clouds that covered the sky, his mind in disarray as he tried to make sense of what he had witnessed, leaning against the the car seat as he drove he thought to himself
(everyday since he I can remember we where taught the gray black clouds that covered the sky where the only thing that existed in the sky, at day the earth was dim and at night the gray clouds rolled endlessly like a hurricane of fog with lights like torches breaking through the gray black night but thinking about it now is it really normal)
looking at the gray black clouds his gaze seemed to pass beyond it, beyond the planet and into space where a white sun glowed furiously
-Flashback-
The Day before....
Rain poured like a waterfall unto the earth, lighting and thunder roared across the dark gloomy clouds clashing against the black sky
In a black van parked outside an apartment block (houses joined together- where different ppl live in the different rooms of the building)
Inside the van, Elias and his squad members,
"Elias what this mission about" a yellow skin tall man asked, 3 others putting on vest and guns before wearing a a coat which said IFA on the back, also perked up their ears
Elias reading through documents, said with his eyes down, A picture of Man, a lady, and a Girl about 15 yrs of age
"The mission objective is to find and eliminate a group of cultist's, we have identified their identity's and located them to be owner's of this Hotel, arrest those without resistance, and eliminate everyone who shows resistance, any questions"
A somewhat short lady with black hair, picked up a photo, pointing at it to Elias
"Elias, this girl looks just about 15, probably still in school, are you sure this information is correct"
Elias was silent for a moment before raising his head and answering coldly
"Senior Special Agent Agnes Don't let your emotions interfere with the mission, as agents all we are to do is follow orders correctly without objections, and besides the information was already verified by HQ before the mission was passed unto us"
Elias after saying all that, adjusted his coat on his body the words IFA could seen on the back, as he opened the van door and walked out letting the rain touch him
Agnes looked at him for a moment and wanted to say something when the tall yellow skin guy interrupted her
"Oh...don't mind him, thats how he is usually during missions, always forsaking emotions, apperaing detached and emotionless that why his code name is 'Ghost', you know he wasn't always like this, during a mission from when we where still junior agents during a mission a moment of compassion cost us one of our team members a dear friend and ever since he has blamed himself, so don't put too much thought, right now he needs a someone like you who can help him reslove scars of the past, which is why we are all rooting for you, i'm sure u'll eventually melt the ice in his heart"
