Chapter 7 - Chapter 7- Bathed in Light, Bound for Fire

Sunlight spilled into the chambers, glinting off discarded armor, rumpled blankets, and bodies sprawled across the massive bed like satisfied heathens after a holy war.

But the men were already moving.

Kaleb and Arwen were the first to rise, groaning like old warriors as they stretched. Azarion was quiet, precise, already wrapping himself in a dark robe and muttering enchantments to ready the bath. Liam took his sweet time, sliding off the bed stark naked and unrepentant, hair tousled, bite marks down his chest, cock still heavy.

"Do we even have any blood left?" he muttered. "I feel like I drained myself out of three different ends last night."

"Don't care," Sable grunted, dragging himself upright. "Worth it."

Elisha rolled his shoulders, both of his cocks already hidden beneath his golden silk wrap. "Goddess, she's gonna feel everything when she wakes."

"Good," Kaleb said. "Let her remember who she belongs to."

They entered the bath chamber first, massive, steaming, and filled with glowing mineral pools lined in dark crystal and rose quartz. They washed, preened, and then, together, lifted Rhiannan gently from bed and carried her in like the divine queen she was.

She stirred as they lowered her into the heated water, soft moans leaving her lips as the warmth wrapped around her.

"Mm… what time is it?"

"Time to be adored," Azarion whispered, kissing her wrist.

They bathed her slowly. Kaleb lathered her hair with moon oil. Elisha massaged her shoulders. Sable rubbed gentle salve into the forming bruise marks on her hips. Liam kissed her belly reverently, and they all smiled at the tiny swell there.

Just the barest bump, only six weeks in, but carrying triplets… and divine ones at that.

And that's when it hit her.

The Vision....

Steam curled. The world stilled.

In a shimmer of silver blue, Nythera appeared across the bath in the reflection of the water, her form draped in starlight, eyes deep as galaxies.

"You carry creation," she whispered. "And chaos. You will not carry them long, your womb will bloom in accelerated time."

Rhiannan's eyes widened.

"Six months," Nythera said gently. "Then they will arrive. Mark the stars. Mark your steps. And prepare, your children are not just born of love… they are born of prophecy."

The vision faded.

And Rhiannan exhaled like she'd been holding her breath for the whole damn world.

Everyone packed.

Everyone bitched.

And everyone buzzed with chaotic pre departure energy.

Gailia looked radiant, rubbing her own growing bump, one of her twins hand feeding her slices of smoked fruit while the other growled at anyone who walked too close.

"We are not sharing breakfast," Draven snarled at Mo.

"Oh chill, Dragon Daddy," Mo said, floating by with a plate stacked like a Jenga tower. "Y'all got two mouths on that plate and I've got fifteen souls to feed."

"You're not pregnant," Gailia snorted.

"Emotionally, I am," Mo said dramatically. "I cried at a mushroom this morning."

Kazra sauntered in next, barefoot, shirt half buttoned, clearly hungover and still stunning.

"Who poured firewine down my throat last night? My throat's on strike."

"You poured it," Reyna deadpanned. "Then licked it off Torvax's abs."

"He tasted like cinnamon trauma," Kazra said, unapologetic.

Barrick limped in behind them with three nymphs clinging to him like overcaffeinated vines.

"Someone kill me."

"You loved every second," one nymph purred, biting his ear.

"I loved the first ten," Barrick groaned. "After that, it was just edge and eldritch horror."

Torvax grunted from the corner, already sharpening his axe.

"We're ready," Nahlia said beside him, cool and beautiful, eyes scanning the group. "The wolf and I made sure the armory's loaded."

Vaerix Bloodfang stood near Reyna, silent and protective, his red eyes locked on her like she was oxygen. Her demon mate Veydran stood near by in the shadows. He didn't talk much. Just glared angrily at everyone.

Zaiya Bloodrage appeared last, striding in like a thunderclap, a half eaten peach in one hand and two mates trailing behind her.

"We move at sunrise. If you're late, I leave your ass."

"I wasn't late," Veena said smugly. "I was fashionably armed."

Nyxar, the quiet, lethal blade dancer beside her, chuckled softly. "And we polished your horns, didn't we?"

"Damn right you did," Zaiya said, licking juice from her wrist. "And I looked good doing it."

Rhiannan stepped into the room finally, radiant in storm silver leathers and a forest green cloak that swept the floor behind her.

The room hushed.

Even Mo whispered, "That's our goddess. Pregnant. Powerful. And ready to burn shit down."

"Let's move," Rhiannan said, voice like steel wrapped in velvet. "We've got a Sceptre to find and an alliance to seal."

The courtyard of Andopeer buzzed with joy and magic as the massive group assembled. Children darted between legs, laughing and waving, their hair trailing sparkles from enchantments Mo had gifted them the night before.

"BYE LADY GODDESS! BRING BACK COOL STUFF!" one shouted.

"AND MAYBE A BABY DRAGON!" another added helpfully.

Rhiannan laughed, rubbing her tiny bump as one of the little ones hugged her legs. "I'll see what I can do."

Mo was already live on FaeNet, sparkles glittering over his horns as he floated backwards toward the glowing portal, the camera perfectly catching every farewell hug, wave, and dramatic twirl of cloaks.

"Okay bitches, portal's charged, energy's vibin', and our goddess crew is steppin' through in 3… 2…"

FLASH.

The portal bloomed open, shimmering with molten gold and sapphire streaks.

They stepped through...

...and were immediately blasted by a whirlwind of confetti, enchanted streamers, and a massive magical banner that unfurled midair with a sparkling ding!

WELCOME TO THE SOLARIAN KINGDOM! ☀️🔥🌊

Trumpets flared. Magical sparklers zipped through the sky. One little sprite riding a sunbird let off a puff of celebratory glitter that turned Mo's eyebrows lavender.

"Y'all, this is giving ✨extra✨ and I love it."

The servants of the castle came bounding forward to greet them, tiny, soft brown humanoids with oversized eyes, buck teeth, and fuzzy ears. They wore tiny vests and capes, and squeaked joyfully as they surrounded Rhiannan like happy squirrels on espresso.

"Browniesss!" Mo squealed. "I love these soft little chaos critters, come here, tiny bean!"

They hugged her legs, one brushing her cloak reverently, another offering her a daisy wrapped in golden ribbon.

"Our Queen! Our Glowing One! Our Baby Bumper!"

"She grows gods, you know," one whispered dramatically to another.

The massive dining hall was pure luxury and radiant sunlight. Enchanted windows glowed with golden warmth, long tables spilled over with roasted fish, golden root mash, spicy sunfruit slices, honey glazed rolls, and fresh churned butter topped with sea crystals.

Everyone found their places, dragon twins with Gailia, Reyna curled into Vaerix's lap while pretending not to smile with Veydran right behind her. Barrick looking haunted as his nymphs fed him one grape at a time.

Kazra drank wine straight from the bottle. Zaiya and Nyxar arm wrestled over a tray of fire shrimp.

"I told you I'd win," Zaiya purred.

"I let you win," Nyxar growled, kissing her throat.

Mo had just sat down and shoved half a cinnamon pastry into his mouth when....

Twitch.

His ears twitched. His tail snapped straight.

He paused. Chewed slowly. Sniffed the air.

"Wait."

He sniffed again. Eyes widened. He stood up so fast his chair clattered to the floor.

"WAIT. Do y'all smell, ohfuckohshit..."

His nose twitched like mad. His eyes crossed.

"CINNAMON PANCAKES AND FUCKING SYRUP.."

And then he screeched.

"I GOT TITTIES. I GOT A MATE BOND. TITTIES AND A MATE BOND. OH MY GODS YESSSS!"

Everyone turned as a radiant, absolutely stunning Fae girl gasped and squealed from across the room. Her brown skin glowed with golden undertones, long ringlets bouncing as she leapt over a low bench with the kind of agility only a monkey shifter could manage.

"You're MINE!" she squeaked. "I knew it!"

Mo ran.

They met in the middle of the dining hall like a romantic comedy on crack, Mo scooping her up and spinning her in a full circle while streamers flew and music enchanted itself midair.

"LOOK AT HER, FAENET!" Mo shouted to the stream still running. "ISN'T SHE FUCKING PERFECT?!"

"I'm Mela!" she giggled, cheeks glowing, tail wrapping around his arm. "I'm a moon monkey shifter and my magic is music!"

"I'm your forever," Mo said, kissing her nose. "And you're coming with us. Everywhere. Forever. Deal with it."

"Okay," she whispered, happy tears in her huge eyes.

Rhiannan stood and pulled them both into a hug, glowing like a goddess with her arms around them.

"Welcome to the chaos, Mela. You're family now."

The room erupted in cheers, claps, whistles.

FaeNet? Fucking exploded.

💬"MO GOT A MATE?? 😭" 💬"She's so cute I'm gonna cry and eat my phone." 💬"Cinnamon pancakes is now my sexual orientation." 💬"HE SAID I GOT TITTIES I'M DEAD."

They sat down together, Mo feeding Mela bites and wiping her chin lovingly while the others teased and toasted.

"We stopping for mates now mid-

lunch?" Barrick grumbled. "Do I need to check my sandwich for soul bonds?"

"Don't worry," Kazra smirked. "No one's falling in love with your leftover shrimp, Grandpa."

"I hate you all," Barrick muttered.

"You love us," the three nymphs chimed in unison.

The laughter, the bonding, the celebration, all of it built the perfect moment before the next storm.

They would rest. Eat. Meet with the Queen.

And then?

Solarian would never be the same.
