Iris said, "What were you doing?"
Liebe said, "Fighting a boss. I wasn't as far along as I thought. We only managed to cross 1,650 km. Still not good enough."
Lilith said, "We're not in a rush. There is plenty of time."
Gelda said, "At the rate you're going, you should make it as one of the 25 Princes of Hell in the next five years or so."
Liebe said, "Okay, then."
Iris said, "He's a monster, alright."
Licht said, "Good to see you know."
Then they returned to the dorms. After returning, Hedin said, "I can feel the difference easily."
Liebe said, "Yeah, it's like stepping out of an air-conditioned room, but it takes a bit of getting used to."
Lumos said, "Yeah, but I feel stronger. A lot stronger."
Olivia said, "At this rate, we'll cross 1,000 km into the Abyssal Zone in no time."
Licht just laughed and said, "Sure, sure."
Olivia said, "What's so funny?"
Licht said, "Your ignorance. If it was that easy, we would have finished it. Not to mention, Liebe's magical power is made for the Abyssal Zone, yet he couldn't cross more than 1,600 km. In simple terms, the curve is like an acceleration graph—that's what makes it so dangerous."
Olivia said, "Great."
Licht said, "You barely just hit the tip of the iceberg. Try thinking deeper, idiot. The Knights of the Round are immortals who have attempted to reach the center of the Abyssal Zone for millennia, and yet, as a group, they still failed. And you are telling me you will do it like no big deal? Literally a few hours ago, you were begging for your lives just because the mana 5 km deep was too much for you. Not to mention, none of you know Afterglow or Rampage, which alone takes years to learn, let alone master."
Liebe said, "It works like that. Even though you won't be able to learn it in a month."
As Liebe was about to enter the dorms, Alysa came out and said, "Liebe, you're here."
Liebe said, "Yeah. Had a hell of a fight in the Abyssal Zone. Now I'm starving. Let's go inside and grab lunch."
Alysa said, "Instead of that, how about we go shopping with everyone and eat something on the way?"
Licht said, "Sounds like a plan."
Gelda said, "Same. I was getting tired of the food here."
Lilith said, "I know, right? Let's go."
Liebe said, "You guys are hiding something. What are you hiding?"
Alysa said, "Us? Hiding? What are you saying?"
Liebe said, "The fact I can detect lies, and right now, you guys are full of it."
Licht said, "Just know there are reasons why you can't enter the dorms right now. So, like, you know…"
Liebe said, "Fine, then."
As they went away, meanwhile, deep in the underworld, Lucifer tears up as he said, "I felt it… the Sacred Flame."
Knive said, "Could it be… her?"
Lucifer said, "No. She is already dead. It's the strongest sinner. I can feel his magic. It won't be long till he arrives here and grants us dawn."
Knive said, "The strongest sinner exists even among the sinners here? He is stronger?"
Lucifer said, "Not yet, he isn't. But he will bring what I desire. The strongest sinner… the deity who created us out of love and strength. His will exists."
Knive said, "Even so, even if he becomes the strongest sinner in hell, he still can't take on an angel, much less stand up to the will of archangels."
Lucifer said, "No. He is the one who we all love and revere. You may not have existed back in those days, but as long as he breathes, the world never lacks warmth."
Knive said, "Of course. Being the strongest fallen angel, you are truly beyond me."
Lucifer said, "He is the reason why angels are stronger than devils. Now, get a drink. I need more lakes of alcohol to drown out my ocean of tears. I am truly too far beyond sin."
Knive said, "Of course."
Lucifer said, "If only I could see their warm faces once more… the warm people who loved me. And his heart beats are the same as the glistening moon's gentle, warm light. I am beyond forgiveness."
