"Saladin! Saladin! Saladin!" chanted the crowd, as Saladin stood on his balcony, waving to the masses below.
"Today, we celebrate a new era for Libya! A new era of peace, prosperity, and progress!" he declared, his voice booming over the crowd.
The crowd erupted into cheers, waving flags and banners in support of their leader.
"With the help of our friends, Libya now has nuclear power! We are now free from the shackles of oil dependency, and we can build our new future!" he declared, raising his fist in the air.
The crowd roared in approval, chanting his name louder.
"Why did they back this guy instead of holding free and fair elections?" grumbled Malkovich, the NATO commander, as he and Aaron watched the celebrations from inside the palace.
"The version of democracy that we are used to, has a few civilizational prerequisites commander Malkovich," replied Aaron, sipping his drink.
"Like what?" asked Malkovich, raising an eyebrow.
