My shift was almost over, I kept glancing in the direction where the man stood but there were no signs of him. I poured a hot chocolate into a mug added some whipped cream and gave it takes a little boy. He smiled at me and I gave a sweet one back. The woman sitting on the counter beckoned me and I walked over to her, she was crying. "What's wrong," I said while I pat my hand over her shoulder. I knew I recognized her she had come hear before. We used to talk about what our favorite drink was but seeing her cry made my heart drop. "My husband cheated on me," she said. I wiped her tears away and gave her a hot tea and some chocolate. I didn't even notice that I was crying too. I was softhearted, when I see someone who is sad I immediately feel sad too. Even my mom joked about that I was gonna cry when she saw someone that had pain. I was gonna walk to the counter to the woman to tell her everything was going to be okay when I felt someone staring at me from the corner of my eye. But when I looked at it it was gone.
