Zayn's House
Encinto walked out of the garage carrying a grill so big it looked like he stole it from a hotel kitchen. He dragged it across the yard and placed it beside the river, getting ready for a BBQ like he owned a restaurant.
John and Mark were training with Zayn on the grass. Sweat everywhere, both of them collapsing like dying soldiers.
John
"Hey, Zayn… how the hell did Alex survive your training?"
Mark
"Yeah, right. Is he even human? What is he made of?"
Zayn sighed like he was tired of explaining this for the hundredth time.
Zayn
"He's Hunter. So it's normal for him. But if you two survive my training until the end… then you're just insane."
Ray stepped into the yard like a retired king. He sat on a chair by the river, sipping coffee like the whole world was at peace.
Ray
"So… what's that secret you wanted to tell me, Zayn?"
Zayn raised an eyebrow.
Zayn
"Oh, that. I'll tell you later."
He walked into the house.
"Wait here, I'm going to get it."
A moment later Zayn returned. He carried two things:
A bag full of moneyA secret file
He placed both on the table in front of Ray.
Zayn
"Here. This is the secret file about the Diaz family's weakness. And this—" he lifted the bag "—is the money we robbed from Miguel."
Ray rubbed his jaw, impressed.
Ray
"So… you're planning something?"
Zayn
"Yeah. I have a plan. I'll go meet someone after this."
Sean's Place
Sean sat at the beach with two girls on his left and right, like some depressed celebrity trying to pretend life was normal.
Miguel approached him quietly and stood beside his son.
Miguel
"So… where do you want to go after this?"
Sean didn't look at him. He just stared at the ocean.
Sean
"Seek another path."
Miguel smirked. Sean smirked.
Then both of them burst into a small laugh — like two villains who just lost but still had something dangerous planned.
