(the world's greatest Pokemon Trainer is also what appears to be the strongest Pokemon of all.)
(A Pokemon called Mewtwo.)
(Mew is surprised herself.)
Mew: "Mewtwo."
(Pikachu and Eevee look at the Pokemon with serious expression.)
(Fergus speaks and demands.)
Fergus: "A Pokémon can't be a Pokémon master! No way!"
Mewtwo and his servant: "Quiet, human. From now on, l am the one who makes the rules."
(Mewtwo and his servant answer.)
(Everyone becomes shocked, and Misty asks.)
Misty: "How's it talking?"
Brock: "It must be using telepathy."
(Brock says.)
(Just then, Mewtwo lifts his hand and uses his Psychic Powers to petrify Fergus and lifts him into the air.)
(Everyone is stunned to see the display.)
(Mewtwo then clutches his three digits together, keeping Fergus in place.)
(Mewtwo chuckles and tosses Fergus into the fountain.)
(Fergus swims up and says.)
Fergus: "We'll show you! Let's go, Gyarados!"
(Gyarados then slithers out of the fountain to battle Mewtwo.)
(Fergus stands up and calls out.)
Fergus: "Gyarados, Hyper-Beam attack!"
(Gyarados then performs a Hyper Beam attack on Fergus.)
(However, Mewtwo uses his psychic powers to perform a barrier, and it bounces the attack directly at Gyarados.)
(The attack strikes at Gyarados with full force and knocks it into the fountain.)
(shocking everyone in the room.)
(Soon, they see Gyarados is down.)
(Fergus then rushes to his Pokemon in concern.)
Fergus: "Gyarados!"
Mewtwo and the servant: "Child's play,"
(Mewtwo and the servant answer.)
(He turns to his servant and uses his Psychic powers on her.)
Mewtwo: "Your usefulness has ended."
(Suddenly, the servant's eyes change and feels rather dizzy.)
(She then collapses, but Brock quickly catches her.)
(The hat and cover fall off of her head to reveal the servant is Nurse Joy.)
(It doesn't take long for the others to see that this is the Nurse Joy that has gone missing.)
(Soon, she opens her eyes.)
Brock: "Nurse Joy!"
(Brock says, relieved.)
(Confused, Nurse Joy asks.)
Nurse Joy: "Where am I? And how in the world did I get here?"
Mewtwo: "You have been under my control,"
(Mewtwo answers, causing Brock and Joy to turn to his direction.)
(Then Mewtwo explains.)
Mewtwo: "I transported you here from the Pokémon center. Your knowledge of Pokémon physiology proved useful to my plan. I have cleansed your tiny human brain of memories from the past weeks."
Brock: "Who are you?!"
(Brock demands in anger.)
Mewtwo: "I am the new ruler of this world… the master of humans and Pokémon alike."
(Mewtwo answers.)
Misty: "You're just a bully!"
(Misty shouts.)
Pikachu: "Pika!" (That's right!)
(Pikachu says.)
(Then Eevee says.)
Eevee: "Eevee!" (You're mean!)
(Meanwhile, in a strange hallway.)
(Team Rocket are able to open the hatch of the floor.)
(They walk down the hall to find anything interesting, and hope not many people are around.)
(As they walk by, one of the doors suddenly opens, and they walk inside.)
(What they find is a kind of lab, with a large machine and tubs with liquids inside.)
(What really catches their attention is to find three tubes with Pokemon inside.)
Meowth: "Look at these,"
(Meowth replies.)
(Inside are Venusaur, Charizard, and Blastoise and they are sleeping in the tubs.)
Meowth: "They're Pokémon."
(Meowth says.)
James: "Are they real?"
(James wonders.)
(Jessie walks away and looks around and says to herself.)
Jessie: "l was hoping there'd be a party."
(She then sits down.)
(unknown she ends up sitting on the on switch, which turns on the machine.)
(Jessie quickly gets off and turns around to see the machine screen.)
(James and Meowth hurry over to see themselves.)
(The machine speaks as it changes the screen.)
(This is the Pokémon replication system.)
(System activated.)
(Pokémon based on genetic analysis.)
(Pokémon DNA sampling sequence now in progress.)
(Suddenly, two robotic arms pick up Meowth, causing him to panic.)
Meowth: "Hey! Put me down. What are you-? Let go!"
(Then the robotic arms place him on the conveyor belt and move him to the machine.)
(Meowth panics and tries to run away as he screams.)
Meowth: "Help!"
James: "Meowth!
(James panics and grabs Meowth.)
(Jessie then grabs James.)
Jessie: "Grab him!"
Meowth: "Help me!"
(Meowth begs, being pulled into the machine.)
(Then a small robot arm grabs a bit of Meowth's tail and pulls some of his hair.)
(Then the three fall out of the machine and land on the ground.)
(Meowth looks at his tail.)
Meowth: "l made it. But just by a hair."
(Soon, a holographic screen appears to show three strains of hair.)
(Jessie points out.)
Jessie: "Look, there's your hair."
machine: "Analyzing Pokémon biomaterial samples. Analysis complete. Pokémon identified. Begin replication sequence,"
(The machine says, scanning the D.N.A sample.)
(Then shows a picture of Meowth.)
James: "Who's that Pokémon?"
(James questions.)
Jessie: "It's Meowth,"
(Jessie answers.)
(Just then, the machine then creates something and has it travel through the tube.)
(The three rush over to see what the machine has created.)
Jessie and James: "Meowth!"
(Jessie and James say, shocked.)
(Meowth is shocked.)
Meowth: "But I'm Meowth!"
Jessie: "So is the one in the tank,"
(Jessie says.)
James: "Your clone,"
(James adds.)
Meowth: "Huh?"
(Meowth says, confused.)
(Unknown to Team Rocket, the Pokemon Mew is watching over what is taking place.)
(Suddenly, the machine begins to play a prerecorded message.)
Man: "I haven't got much time. I pray this record of our experiment survives. A year ago we discovered a fossil that proves to be the remains of the ancient Pokémon, Mew."
(then shows a carving of the Mythical Pokemon.)
(Jessie, James, and Meowth rush over to see as the prerecording still plays.)
Man: "There was sufficient genetic material to replicate Mew. But Giovanni, who funded our project, insisted on super-clones, more powerful than any living Pokémon. Many attempts failed, but finally our experiments proved successful. We produced a living Pokémon. We called it Mewtwo."
(Then the recorded message shows an image of Mewtwo.)
(Unknown to Team Rocket, the Pokemon, Mew, is watching the video with them.)
(The recording continues.)
Man: "But for some reason, the creature's anger is out of control. With its psychic powers, it's destroying our laboratory. We dreamed of creating the world's strongest Pokémon… and we succeeded."
(Then the video recording ended.)
(Jessie then turns to her friends and says.)
Jessie: "Sounds like a real Pokénstein."
James: "Sure does,"
(James agrees.)
Meowth: "One bad cat!"
(Meowth says.)
(Suddenly, the three turn their heads behind.)
(but the Pokemon Mew disappears before they can see.)
(James looks around as he says.)
James: "So this must be the lab."
Jessie: "But if Mewtwo destroyed it..."
(Jessie says, confused.)
James: "Somebody rebuilt it."
(James says.)
(Jessie then says.)
Jessie: "Yes, but who?"
(Team Rocket begins to think and wonder who could have rebuilt the lab after Mewtwo destroyed it.)
