Chapter 3 - Chapter 2 Persuasion

(At the shopping center).

Daniel's face falls, and he quickly speaks up.

Daniel: "Video production already? But you just got back..."

His voice is tinged with sadness and concern, knowing fully well what 'video production' entails for Kai—endless hours of being tortured and humiliated by humans for their sick entertainment.

Andrey nods slowly.

Andrey: "Yeah... aren't you supposed to have some time off after coming back from..."

He trails off, not needing to finish the sentence. Everyone knows what he means. Kai looks down, avoiding their gaze.

Kai's voice cracks as he speaks, tears welling up in his eyes.

Kai: "They're going to stab me... I don't know what they're planning on doing this time."

He sniffles, trying to hold back sobs.

Kai: "I'm scared guys... really scared."

His friends exchange worried glances, knowing that Kai's fears are all too real given what he goes through during those video productions. Daniel pulls Kai into a tight hug.

Daniel: "It'll be okay..."

But even he doesn't sound convincing. Andrey looks away, fighting back tears himself.

Kai's heartbreaking confession spills out as he finally breaks down completely.

Kai: "No, it will NEVER be okay!"

He screams through sobs, collapsing to his knees.

Kai: "I'm falling apart every single day—being tortured constantly, forced to wear a maid outfit, made to do sexual things in front of those monsters, then killed over and over in the worst ways imaginable!"

His body shakes violently as months of suppressed trauma finally burst forth. Daniel and Andrey rush to his side immediately, each grabbing his hands.

Both: "Kai, we're so sorry."

Daniel kneels beside Kai, gripping his trembling hands tightly and looking directly into his tear-filled eyes.

Daniel: "I promise."

He says firmly, his voice steady despite the tears streaming down his own cheeks.

Daniel: "I promise I'll make this right for you. No matter what it takes, Kai."

His conviction is unwavering—it's no empty gesture. This is a vow from the depths of his soul. Andrey nods beside him, placing a supportive hand on Kai's shoulder.

Both: "We're not letting you go through this alone anymore."

Kai's eyes widen in disbelief as he looks between Daniel and Andrey, their words sinking in. He's never heard such an unwavering commitment before. His sobs begin to subside slightly as he processes their promises—Daniel vowing to make things right and Andrey pledging support. For the first time in what feels like forever, Kai feels a glimmer of hope amidst the darkness that has consumed him. He reaches out hesitantly towards them both... seeking comfort and belief in their words.

Kai's voice is small and uncertain as he speaks, his hands reaching out tentatively towards his friends.

Kai: "I just hope so."

He whispers, his heart heavy with doubt and years of unfulfilled promises. Daniel and Andrey wrap their arms around him, pulling him into a tight hug.

Daniel: "We mean it, Kai."

He murmurs against his ear.

Daniel: "We're going to save you from this hell."

Andrey nods in agreement, his own eyes brimming with tears.

Andrey: "No more suffering, Kai. No more being a sacrifice."

As they hold Kai close, both Daniel and Andrey's minds race with thoughts of how they can possibly keep their promises. The reality of what Kai has been facing hits them like a ton of bricks—months of torture, degradation, being forced into sexual acts, and worst of all, being killed over and over for human entertainment. Daniel's grip tightens possessively around Kai's waist. He realizes suddenly that he's never asked Kai something important... Andrey swallows hard, his mind working similarly. Both boys wonder silently, "How?"

(The Next Day).

"It's the humans fault."

"It's the humans fault."

"It's the humans fault."

"It's the humans fault."

"IT'S THE HUMANS FAULT."

Waking up slightly after hearing the faint whispers of the dead alpha males and females in his head, their ethereal voices echoing through his mind.

Dai: "It's always the humans."

He mumbles to himself as he recalls the countless faces of the humans he has killed during the war, their screams and pleas for mercy still echoing in his mind.

(In his mind).

"It's the humans who are responsible for our current state. They have altered our appearance and it's time to acknowledge the severity of their actions. Perhaps a more extreme term is warranted to describe the harm they've inflicted. Humans must be held accountable."

(Out of his mind).

(At Kai's House).

Unknown Voice: "Madness is the humans did it first why aren't they to blame forcing those to do the dirty work and then the ones who are forced to get blamed in the end."

The next morning, Kai stirs awake at the faint sound of an unfamiliar voice echoing in his mind—a voice that doesn't belong to Daniel or Andrey. He lies back on the creaky bed, staring up at the cracked ceiling as memories flood back—ominous words from higher-ups, threats from humans of torture and death hanging over him like a dark cloud ready to burst any moment today would be worse than yesterday—much worse... His heart sinks further into despair as he prepares mentally for what awaits him outside those walls...

(Flashback at the higher ups)

Uwu cat Higher Up: "Humans were the creators of the Uwu cats and other creatures that live in this world. But one day a human decided to create a video that made an Uwu cat have heat with alpha wolf and published it and therefore the humans believe all Uwu cats are heat maniacs. So the humans decided to kill every single Uwu cat in the area including the children."

Female Higher Uwu Cat: "The humans were the ones who originally created the heat Uwu cats, but through research, it appears that humans also have the ability to regulate their own heat in order to ensure the survival of their species. However, humans have a negative perception of Uwu cats, believing them to be evil. In response, humans have created a new species called Owo cats, which are considered to be good and not evil."

Male Uwu cat Higher Up: "Currently, the Uwu cat population stands at one thousand, while the Owo cat population has reached one hundred thousand. Unfortunately, humans are planning to eliminate all of us, which is why we desperately need your help as a sacrifice."

(End of Flashback).

(In his mind).

"I understand that humans hate me because a human decided to make a Uwu Cat have sex? Why blame us when they're the ones who did it in the first place."

He sighs as he gazes over at the outfit he brought back from the store that Daniel and Andrey visited. A slight smile creeps onto his face, but his attention is soon diverted to the maid outfit that the human planning to create a video instructed him to wear.

"I guess, I am the mistake in the end."

(Out of his mind).

His eyes well up with fresh tears as he curls against the pillow, seeking comfort in its soft embrace. He knows today will be hard—possibly the hardest day yet. The humans have promised new forms of torture, new ways to break him. His small body shakes slightly as sleep finally takes over, offering him a brief escape from reality. For now, he can pretend he's safe, cocooned in his bed... But soon enough, the harsh light of day will come crashing in...And with it...The monsters outside waiting eagerly...

(At Daniel's Home).

Daniel jolts awake, his gaze immediately drawn to the photos of Kai that adorn his walls. Suddenly, he remembers—the new video project that will involve collaborating with humans. Humans who will torture and degrade Kai further. Without a second thought, Daniel throws off his blankets and sprints out of the house, his heart pounding in his chest as he races towards the higher-ups' location on the other side of town.

Daniel: "I have to stop this somehow. Kai can't endure anymore torture..."

He recalls Andrey's words from their urgent conversation last night.

(Flashback at the park late at night).

Daniel: "I think it's time for me to take Kai's place, considering the immense trauma he's endured from being tortured and killed repeatedly. It's unbearable to imagine anyone getting desensitized to such suffering."

He says it calmly, his voice steady, while looking directly at his friend.

Andrey: "Are you certain about this decision, considering the history of humans subjecting us to torture and ultimately killing us?"

He looks at him with a mixture of fear and apprehension after recalling the numerous disturbing videos that showcased the atrocities committed by humans. Throughout the years, the two villages of Uwu Cats have developed a profound and deep-seated hatred towards humans.

Daniel: "I'm sure about this..."

He says it calmly, his voice steady, while looking directly at his friend. Even though his voice seems shaky and unsure.

(End of Flashback).

(At Kai's House).

Kai stirs awake slowly, his eyes blinking open to stare at the cracked ceiling above him. The faint light filtering through the small window casts shadows that dance menacingly on the walls—a reminder of the horrors waiting outside these four walls. He takes a deep breath, steeling himself for what today will bring...The humans are coming soon...To break him further...To use him again...His small body trembles slightly as he prepares mentally for another day of hell.

Kai: "..."

He reluctantly pulls on the maid outfit, the frilly apron and petite dress feeling completely out of character for him. He stares at his reflection in the mirror, tears welling up in his eyes as he anticipates the coming abuse. A letter from a human lies crumpled on the floor beside him—orders for him to pretend romantic feelings towards humans. Blushing constantly, uttering the phrase 'I love you', and performing a dance to capture their attention...He feels a deep sense of degradation and humiliation wash over him.

Kai: "..."

After reading the letter, Kai remains silent, uncertainty clear on his face. He knows he has no choice but to comply if he wants to ensure the safety of his people. A sudden knock on the door makes him jump. He opens it, hoping to see Sai or one of his friends—but instead, he's greeted by the cold barrel of a gun held by a male human. Behind him stand multiple other people, their smirks and hungry eyes sending a chill down Kai's spine. The video... it begins now...And Kai is its helpless subject...

Kai: "..."

He stumbles backward in terror, his eyes widening as he hears a human's firm, commanding voice ordering him to obey. Panic surges through him, his face flushing a deep crimson as he forces himself to smile brightly at the humans—a fake, artificial expression meant to appease them. His heart pounds wildly in his chest as he realizes this is it—his worst nightmare come to life... He must play the role assigned to him, even if it means pretending to love these monsters who will only use and hurt him...

(In the background).

Sai: "..."

His eyes widen in horror as he watches from the shadows, hidden from the humans' view. He sees Kai being mercilessly shot at, the bullets tearing through his fragile body. The humans laugh and jeer, calling him 'disgusting', 'inhuman'. Sai clenches his fists so tightly that his knuckles turn white. A deep-seated rage begins to boil within him—as he watches his lover being brutalized, all he can think is 'this can't continue'.

Sai: "THAT'S ENOUGH!"

His rage finally boils over as he draws his sword with deadly precision, plunging it directly into the human's heart. An unknown energy suddenly begins to emanate from the blade—a powerful aura that surrounds it like a deadly glow. In the alpha wolf village, each warrior's sword holds immense power, deeply connected to their individual strengths—and Sai's sword chooses this moment to reveal its hidden might. The remaining humans freeze, shocked by the sudden display of power.

Kai: "Sai...?"

He whispers weakly, his voice barely audible over the sound of his own labored breathing. His body is a mangled mess of bullet wounds, each one tearing through his fragile flesh with immense force. He looks around in shock, taking in the scene of destruction before him—lifeless human bodies scattered across the floor, their limbs contorted in death, faces frozen in terror. And through it all, Sai stands tall, his sword dripping with blood and an otherworldly aura surrounding him like a dark cloak.

Sai: "I shouldn't be like my brother... I don't want to hate humans... But these people deserve it. They're the ones who killed my mother... And now they're trying to kill you."

He glances at Kai briefly before focusing on cleaning his sword—his movements precise and practiced despite the chaos surrounding them. His eyes suddenly widen as he notices one of the dead humans clutching a laptop and camera—clear evidence they were live-streaming this encounter for sick entertainment or propaganda purposes. A chill runs down Sai's spine as he realizes their actions have been witnessed by countless others outside these walls...The possibility that this could reignite an all-out war between humans and Uwu cats hits him like a punch to the gut.

Kai: "Sai, why?"

He asks through tears, his voice shaking with fear and gratitude.

Kai: "Why did you put yourself at risk like this? They saw everything—they were live-streaming!"

His body trembles violently as the realization sinks in—their actions have exposed them both, potentially reigniting the war and putting every Uwu cat in danger.

Kai: "They're coming for us now."

He whispers desperately, his eyes searching Sai's face for any hint of hope amidst the impending chaos.

Kai: "You could have gotten killed..."

Sai: "I couldn't bear watching you get killed or hurt any longer."

He confesses, his voice thick with emotion.

Sai: "It's because I love you, Kai."

His words hang heavy in the air, and for a moment, the chaos around them fades away. Kai blushes deeply, looking away from Sai as his heart races—embarrassment mixing with an overwhelming rush of happiness at hearing those three precious words. He bites his lip nervously, struggling to maintain composure amidst such intense feelings... especially when they're surrounded by death and destruction...

Kai: "S-Sai... you don't have to say things like that just because you feel sorry for me..."

He stammers softly, his voice trembling.

Kai: "No matter how many times they kill me or torture me... no matter the unimaginable horrors they subject me to—rape included—they can't break me forever... because I always come back to life."

His voice cracks with emotion, tears spilling down his cheeks as he clings desperately to this one small truth—that death is not the end for him.

Kai: "Why even try to coexist with humans and other creatures if they all hate me?"

He asks bitterly, his voice laced with despair.

Kai: "It would be easier if my kind just went extinct... if we ceased to exist altogether. Then this world could finally move on without the burden of my existence..."

He clutches at his chest, wishing for an end to his own torment—an end to the endless cycle of pain and suffering he's forced to endure.

Kai: "I'm tired... so tired of being alive..."

Sai: "Don't say that, Kai."

He says firmly, pulling him into a gentle hug.

Sai: "Your kind deserves to exist, and so do you. It's not your fault that others hate us—it's their problem, not ours."

He squeezes him tighter, wanting nothing more than to protect Kai from the cruelty of the world. Kai sniffs quietly into the hug feeling Sai's gentle embrace surrounds him tightly. He is comforted by these words—words that offer a glimmer of hope for a future where kindness triumphs over hate.

Kai: "But... but I'm tired of being hated and abused!"

He cries out, clinging to Sai desperately.

Kai: "I'm tired of coming back to life just to suffer more! It hurts too much—every time I die and return... it's like ripping my soul apart over and over!"

Tears stream down his face as he buries it against Sai's chest.

Kai: "I just want it all to end... I want the pain to stop..."

His voice breaks completely into sobs of utter despair and exhaustion from enduring endless torment.

Sai gently squeezes Kai tighter, holding him close as he listens to his heartbreaking confession.

Sai: "I know it's been unbearably hard."

He whispers softly against Kai's ear, his voice barely audible.

Sai: "But you can find strength in yourself too... Kai. Just because you're tired doesn't mean you should give up. There are still people who love you—Daniel, Andrey, me... We're not going to let you suffer anymore. I promise."

His hand strokes Kai's hair soothingly as he whispers,

(At the Uwu Cat Higher Ups).

Daniel: "I came in to volunteer as the new sacrifice."

He gazes upward at the higher-ups who are lurking in the shadows, their faces obscured by darkness.

The Uwu Cat Higher Up: "Humans are particularly fond of Kai. They always prioritize hunting the pink Uwu cat for the sacrifice, as he is considered perfect due to his distinctive pink hair and eyes."

He says calmly, his gaze fixed on Daniel.

Daniel: "But I'm pink too! Look at my hair and my eyes, they're pink! Even my tail is pink! It's not fair!"

He exclaimed, pouting, his pink hair and eyes glinting in the light, his fluffy pink tail twitching behind him.

The Uwu Cat Higher Up: "It doesn't matter now..."

He sighs heavily, his voice cracking slightly. His eyes narrow slightly as he glares at Daniel

Daniel: "Why not?! Kai is suffering! I don't want my friend to suffer! I'd rather suffer myself than have him hurt!"

He shouted, his voice hoarse with emotion. His fists were clenched tightly at his sides.

The Uwu Cat Higher Up: "Something's come up, so let's talk about this later."

He said casually, meeting Daniel's gaze.

Daniel: "Damn you..."

He muttered bitterly under his breath before storming off, his tail lashing behind him. He quickly disappeared around a corner, his ears flattened against his head in anger.
