Chapter 1 - Chapter 1: The New Student's.

The Morning Alarm

The loud, persistent sound of the alarm clock filled the room—brim, brim, brim—echoing against the walls. Peter groaned and buried his face deeper into his pillow, trying to ignore the noise. But the alarm kept ringing, demanding his attention.

Just then, the sound of footsteps echoed down the hallway, growing louder as they approached his room. The door creaked open, and his mother stepped inside. Without hesitation, she walked over to his bed and tapped him firmly on the back.

"Peter! Wake up! It's already 6:00 AM! You need to get up and start preparing for school!" she said, her voice sharp with urgency.

Peter stretched lazily, still half-asleep. "Mom, it's only 6 AM… School doesn't start until 8. I'm going back to sleep. Please don't disturb me—I'll wake up when it's time. Besides, I've already ironed my clothes, polished my shoes, and packed my bag. Everything is ready."

His mother's expression darkened. "Don't you dare talk to me like that!" she snapped. Before Peter could react, her hand came down hard—SLAP!—striking him across the face while he was still lying in bed.

Peter sat up abruptly, his cheek stinging. "What did I do wrong now, Mom?" he asked, anger rising in his voice.

His mother raised her hand again, warning him. "If you talk to me that way one more time, I'll give you a dirty slap! This isn't America, where children disrespect their parents. This is Nigeria! Don't let your age get into your head. Now get up and go prepare for school while I wake your siblings!"

Fuming, Peter stood up from the bed with force, muttering under his breath, "Someone can't even sleep peacefully in his father's house anymore…" Then he sighed heavily.

His mother's eyes narrowed. "Peter… was that comment meant for me?"

Fear gripped Peter as he was about to step out of the room. He quickly shook his head. "No, Mom! I—I didn't say anything!"

His mother clenched her fists. "Good. Because if that statement was directed at me, I would have beaten you up before you even stepped foot in that school of yours. Now get out, take your bath, and when you're done, dress up and assemble in the living room. We're going to pray."

Peter nodded silently, grabbing his towel and phone before leaving the room. He walked down the hallway and entered the bathroom.

The bathroom door swung open wide as Peter stepped inside, then shut firmly behind him. The bathroom was spacious, well-decorated, and painted in a calming shade of blue. It was so big that it could easily fit four people at once.

Peter sat down on the toilet, doing his business, when suddenly—brom brom!—his phone rang. The screen lit up, showing the name Josiah, his classmate. Peter answered the call.

"Hey, Josiah. How are you?" Peter asked, his voice still groggy.

Josiah's cheerful voice came through the phone. "My brother! I'm good, oh! Good morning!"

Peter rubbed his eyes. "Yeah, morning. What's up? Why are you calling me so early?"

Josiah laughed. "Brother, learn to relax sometimes! Don't always be in such a hurry to get straight to the point."

Peter sighed. "Hmm, alright. But why did you call? What information do you have for me?"

Josiah laughed again, clearly excited. "One that you're going to love!"

Peter rolled his eyes. "Okay, I'm listening."

Josiah lowered his voice as if sharing a big secret. "New students are coming into the school today!"

Peter frowned. "And how did you get that information?"

Josiah chuckled. "Have you forgotten? There's no secret hidden from me!"

Peter sighed again. "Whatever. So tell me more."

Josiah continued eagerly. "Two of them are senior girls—they're joining SS2. The other two are coming into our own class. And guess what?"

Peter already knew where this was going. "Yeah, I know… they're all females."

Josiah burst into laughter. "Now you know why I called, don't you?"

Peter's mood darkened. "Listen, Josiah… I'm not really interested in dating anyone right now. Not after what Favour did to me."

Josiah scoffed. "Dude, you only dated her to pass the time. Does it really matter if she cheated on you or not?"

Peter's anger flared. "Don't talk nonsense, Josiah! You know I didn't treat her badly. I provided for her, and I tried my best to like her!"

Josiah sighed. "See, that's the problem. You didn't even show her real affection. How did you expect her to stay loyal?"

Peter clenched his jaw. "Alright, end the topic. I've heard what you have to say. I'll see you in school."

Josiah laughed loudly, his voice echoing through the bathroom. "Okay, brother, I hear you," he said, "but listen to this—those new students joining our class are very beautiful. And not just beautiful, they have superb figures too!"

Peter, sitting on the toilet, rolled his eyes. "So? How does that even matter to me?"

Josiah sighed dramatically. "Brother, don't act dumb. What I'm saying is, we have to claim them before anyone else does!"

Peter shook his head, unimpressed. "Alright, alright, I've heard you. Now, please, let me poop in peace."

Josiah burst into laughter again. "Fine, fine! See you in school."

 Almost immediately, the call ended.

Peter sighed deeply as he stared at his phone. What's his problem? he thought. I just broke up with Favour two weeks ago, and now he wants me to jump into another relationship? He rubbed his temples. Well… let's see how this goes.

Just as he was lost in his thoughts, his mother's voice suddenly boomed from outside the bathroom like a thunderstorm.

"Peter!" she shouted. "Hurry up! You're wasting time in there! Don't make me come in after you!"

Peter quickly stood up, flushing the toilet. "Sorry, Mom! I'm already done!"

Elyon Hills Academy – The Devotion Ground

The school grounds were packed with students, all standing in neat rows under the morning sun. The air was filled with whispers and quiet chatter as everyone waited for the principal to arrive.

Then, footsteps approached—slow, heavy, and unmistakable.

 Everyone turned around.

It was Mr. Charles, the principal.

He was a short, fat man, but undeniably handsome. As always, he wore his crisp white long-sleeved shirt tucked neatly into his brown trousers. His polished shoes clicked against the pavement as he made his way to the podium.

The students greeted him in unison, their voices loud and respectful. "Good morning, sir!"

Mr. Charles nodded, adjusting his glasses before speaking.

"Good morning, students," he began. "I welcome you all once again to the start of a new week. Today is Monday, the 16th of January, 2025. And I am very glad to inform you that we have some new students joining us, starting today." He gestured toward a small group standing nearby. "Please, come up and introduce yourselves."

One by one, the new girls stepped forward.

The first girl walked confidently to the podium. She had smooth, glowing skin, full lips, and a bright smile.

"Hi, everyone," she said, her voice sweet and clear. "My name is Miracle, and as of today, I'll be joining the SS2 class."

The moment she finished speaking, the boys erupted into wild applause—whistling, clapping, and cheering as if she had just won a beauty pageant.

 And why wouldn't they?

 Miracle was stunning.

Her curves were impossible to ignore—her breasts were full and perfectly shaped, her waist tiny, and her hips wide with a backside that bounced slightly as she walked.

As she stepped down from the podium, the boys couldn't contain themselves. Some whistled, others laughed, and a few even shouted compliments.

Meanwhile, the girls in the class watched with disgust, rolling their eyes and shaking their heads at the boys' behavior.

Next, the second girl walked up.

"Hi, everyone," she said softly. "My name is Cynthia, and I'll also be joining the SS2 class."

This time, the applause was weak—barely a few claps here and there.

 The reason was obvious.

 Cynthia was… plain.

Her breasts were small, her figure thin, and her beauty average compared to Miracle. Some of the boys even muttered under their breath, wondering why the principal had even allowed her into the school.

Just as their whispers were about to turn into something louder, the third girl stepped up to the podium…
