Episode 6: The Live Stream
The livestream countdown had barely begun and the comments were already flooding in:
> "SEONWON LIVE OMG OMG" "They better say something juicy đ" "My whole life depends on this stream"
Jaewon stared at the tablet in front of them, heart pounding louder than the pop intro music playing in the background.
He was sitting beside Seon on the AX1 dorm couch, the script between them like a wall.
"You ready?" Seon asked, voice low, not looking at him.
"No," Jaewon muttered.
"Me neither."
The screen flashed: LIVE NOW

"Hi, everyone!" Jaewon forced a smile. "It's Jaewon andâ"
"Seon," Seon said with a quick nod.
The fans exploded in the chat.
> "OMG THEY'RE TOGETHER??" "THEY LOOK NERVOUS AS HELL LMAOOO" "What's the announcement? Don't play with me đ"
Jaewon reached for the script, hesitated.
Then he folded it and shoved it out of view.
Seon's eyes widened slightly.
"We were supposed to read this," Jaewon said to the camera. "But I think you guys deserve the truth. No filters."
Seon blinked. Then leaned in.
"We've known each other for a long time," he said. "Longer than you all think."
Jaewon nodded. "Before AX1. Before the stage. We were⊠friends."
"Close friends."
The chat went wild.
> "WAIT WHAT??" "EXPLAIN CLOSE FRIENDS" "ARE THEY SAYING WHAT I THINK THEY'RE SAYING???"
Jaewon took a deep breath. "And we grew apart. But something about this comeback⊠brought us closer again."
Seon looked directly at him. "It reminded me why I cared so much in the first place."
The words were heavy. Jaewon felt every syllable like a bruise.
"We're still figuring things out," Jaewon said carefully. "But we wanted to share that with you."
Seon nodded. "Because you're part of this, too."
A pause.
Then Jaewon smiled slightly. "Also⊠yes. We'll be doing more lives. More content. Together."
> "SEONWON RISE đđ" "MY HEART IS NOT OKAY RN" "I KNEW IT. I KNEW THEY WERE ENDGAME."
They wrapped the livestream soon after, the cheers echoing in their ears even after the screen went black.

Jaewon sank into the couch, exhaling.
Seon stood. "Why did you throw the script away?"
"Because I couldn't lie like that. Not with you sitting next to me."
Seon turned to face him.
"Did you mean what you said?"
Jaewon nodded. "Every word."
Seon took a step closer.
"But we didn't say everything."
"I know."
"Maybe one day."
Jaewon stood up, brushing past him.
"Maybe sooner than you think."

A knock on the dorm door.
Jun opened it.
A man in a black coat stepped inside, holding a file marked CONFIDENTIAL.
"I'm here to
speak with Seon," he said.
Jun blinked. "Who are you?"
The man smiled. "His brother."
