Clementine:
After a few minutes of silence, I began to wake up. I realized I had only been out for about ten minutes. They had wrapped me in a blanket and laid me down on the bed.
All of them were sitting around me. One of them was rubbing my feet, and another was rubbing my hand. They were taking care of me.
Waking up to my mates around me really changed things for me. I suddenly felt much better, though still in pain.
"What happened to you, Clementine?" Troy asked, holding my hand tightly.
"I don't know. I just had this weird coldness hit my body," I muttered, my lips still quivering. I was still so cold.
"Okay, I must intervene and ask you this," Yorick started softly.
"Ask me what?" I replied, confused.
"Did you feel any sort of pain in your body, like the transition pain, but then it never happened?" Troy questioned, and Yorick added with a head nod.
I began to nod because it really was like that. I did feel the pain.
