Yun Jin swept her gaze across the Human leaders. "Who agrees? Who objects?"
Her brow arched slightly, her stance even more defiant than Ji Wusi's had been earlier.
Everyone fell silent.
Just moments ago, when Ji Wusi handed her the seat, Yun Jin had still looked shy and modest.
And now? She'd slipped into the role so naturally it was almost scary.
Ji Wusi suddenly chuckled. "I agree," he said without hesitation. "For years, I've wanted to wipe out the Demon race and purge the Demon Realm! Now that they're this weak, this is a chance we can't miss. I say we start preparing right away and move out in three days!"
"Three days?!"
The hall erupted into murmurs.
Life for the Human race had been fairly stable lately. To suddenly start a full-scale race war—it was natural some would hesitate.
"I agree too," Qing Yun said, rising to his feet. "The Demon race might look cornered in the Demon Realm right now, but that's only for the moment. If we don't destroy them completely, the blood moon will eventually heal their strength. Sooner or later, they'll rise again and stir up chaos.
Sect Master Yun has already gravely wounded the Demon Sovereign. That gives us a perfect opening. If we don't attack the Demon Realm now, we'll never get another chance to destroy them for good!"
As Qing Yun's words fell, Liu Li also stood up. Her tone was calm but firm. "He's right. Hesitation leads to disaster. Have you thought about it? The only reason we even have the upper hand right now is because of Sect Master Yun. With her talent, she'll ascend to the Immortal Realm sooner or later. When that happens, who among us could still lead the Human race against the Demons?"
The pro-war faction couldn't hold back anymore.
"That's right! We've got the advantage now, so we should strike hard and wipe those bastards out!"
Still, some remained uncertain. "We all want to destroy the Demon race, but the Demon Realm is under the Blood Moon. That cursed moon weakens every other race but strengthens the Demons. Worse, the spiritual energy there's been tainted by the Blood Moon. We can't absorb it. Once we enter the Demon Realm, we'll have to rely entirely on pills for recovery. Pills are precious, and if we run out, even a Mahayana cultivator will die in there!"
That Blood Moon was exactly why the Humans had never been able to completely eradicate the Demons.
Beating them was easy. Driving them back to the Demon Realm was easy.
But to annihilate them?
They'd need power a hundred, even a thousand times greater than the Demons to pull that off.
"Supply isn't a problem," Qing Yun suddenly said. "Sect Master Yun passed on the Medicine Pill Codex to the alchemists. They can refine pills within their own bodies. Every unit can bring a few alchemists, which means they'll have their own mobile supply line."
Medicine Pill Codex?
Everyone froze.
Even Xuan Feng blinked, caught off guard.
What was that? Qing Yun hadn't even mentioned it to him!
Qing Yun continued, "Mastering the Medicine Pill Codex to the higher levels is tough, but producing first or second-tier pills is simple. With alchemists accompanying each team, we can stay in the Demon Realm far longer. I'll promote the codex to the Xuandan region right after this meeting."
"If such a codex really exists, our odds will improve a lot," several elders said, nodding.
Yun Jin smiled faintly. "Even so, relying solely on the Human race would still be difficult. But don't forget, the King of Spirit Beasts once promised that when the war between Humans and Demons began, he'd lead the Spirit Beasts to fight by our side."
The hall brightened immediately.
Right, there were still the Spirit Beasts from the Beast Forest!
If they all joined the war, that'd be a terrifying addition to their forces.
"Also," Yun Jin paused, her tone carrying a quiet weight.
Everyone looked at her expectantly.
Had Sect Master Yun made other preparations?
"I've already established a Wushuang Sect branch in the Boundless Sea," she said. "Once the war begins, the sea beasts will join the battle too."
Everyone: "???"
Were they hearing this right?
The Wushuang Sect had a branch... in the Boundless Sea?
"And," she added after another pause.
Everyone stared at her again.
There's more?!
Yun Jin smiled. "Wushuang Sect's branch on the Nanlan Continent has also been established. I'll head there to persuade some of their top cultivators to join the war as well."
Nanlan Continent too...?
Everyone was dazed.
The Wushuang Sect had only been founded two years ago. Where did Yun Jin find the time to set up all these branches across the seas and continents?
"Humans, Spirit Beasts, Sea Beasts, other races—and I can even command savage beasts to fight alongside us." Yun Jin's voice was calm but filled with power. "This isn't going to be a desperate struggle between the Human and Demon races. I want domination, total suppression, an undeniable victory."
She rose to her feet again and swept her gaze across the hall. "Now, who agrees, who objects?"
Ji Wusi laughed and stood. "I agree."
Xuan Feng and Sang Fan exchanged glances, then stood as well. "Agreed."
One after another, everyone else stood up.
In the end, only one voice remained.
"Agreed."
At that moment, Yun Jin's will became the will of the entire Human race.
"Since there are no objections, let's move," she ordered. "The Qingxiao region, the Kunlun Sword Sect region, the Xuandan region, the Beastmaster region—each will organize its own forces. We also have one major advantage this time: the existence of Sky Cities! Once your forces are gathered, assemble directly in your Sky City's main hall."
No one found her commanding tone inappropriate. They all accepted her words without question. The meeting ended, and everyone's souls returned to their bodies. Each faction began mobilizing their forces.
Yun Jin turned to Xuan Feng. "Sect Master Xuan, time's short, so I won't stay long. I'll take my leave."
Xuan Feng quickly nodded. "Sect Master Yun, please handle the greater matters first!"
After saying goodbye to Qing Yun and the others, she activated her teleportation and returned to the Mission Hall in an instant.
She didn't even bother listening to the task rewards. Her first stop was the Boundless Sea branch.
Though it hadn't been established long, under Bai Yiran's management it was already thriving. The number of sea beasts was tens of thousands of times greater than that of the Humans.
Just the cultivators in the Eastern Sea alone already far outnumbered all Human cultivators combined.
Yun Jin gave Bai Yiran direct orders: Wushuang Sect would summon sea beasts to join the war.
No pretenses, no fancy words. One dead Demon earned a military merit, and those merits could be exchanged for treasures and techniques. If someone earned enough, Yun Jin herself would even craft a cultivation method tailored just for them.
"With rewards like that, every sea beast out there will rush to join," Bai Yiran said with a grin.
Yun Jin nodded. "I'll leave the arrangements to you."
Bai Yiran's expression turned serious. "Understood."
After leaving the Boundless Sea, Yun Jin returned to Wushuang Sect once more.
Her next destination was Di Xiao.
It had been a year. She wondered how much of his strength he'd managed to recover.
