In the underground base of Urahara Store, Urahara Kisuke savored tea handed over by Tessai, his gaze lifting as spatial fluctuations stirred above the trans-dimensional gate. The distortion shimmered like ripples on still water, announcing the return of those who had entered Hueco Mundo. "Hei Yujun's already back?" he muttered, abandoning his tea and moving swiftly to the console, fingers gliding over keys until he reached the gateway. The boundary's fluctuation thickened—pulsing, intensifying—before two figures emerged from the void.

"Welcome ba—" Kisuke's greeting caught in his throat, eyes narrowing the moment he spotted the small figure in Moyu's arms. "Wait. Mr. Moyu… that child—what is she?"

From Kisuke's expression, it was clear he already suspected the truth—likely even sensed the level of Reiatsu. Moyu, calm and unreadable, didn't flinch. "Nilu. Adjuchas-class Arrancar," he replied without hesitation. "Found her in the Forest of Menos Grande. She's harmless."

Peeking from his arms, Nilu scanned the space curiously. This place, so different from Hueco Mundo's desolate dunes, felt strange but not hostile. Her wide eyes settled on Kisuke, identifying him instantly as another Shinigami.

Kisuke, choosing his words with care, began, "Mr. Moyu, I realize this may be a personal matter, but I must caution you—"

"If it's personal," Moyu cut in smoothly, eyes steady, "then perhaps you shouldn't get involved. I appreciate the concern."

Silenced mid-warning, Kisuke held his stare for a long moment, the weight of unspoken thoughts flickering behind his usual grin. "You seem to know more than I expected."

"We all have our secrets, Mr. Urahara," Moyu said with a faint smile, his hold on Nilu gentle but firm.

"Understood," Kisuke replied with a shrug, the smile still present but thinner now. "Then I'll respect your secret, Mr. Moyu."

The quiet exchange crackled with layered tension—civil but unmistakably edged. Yoruichi, sensing it, wisely held her tongue. Curiosity, in this case, was definitely a cat better left un-killed.

Back in the main shop, with fresh tea poured and seats reclaimed, Yoruichi led the debriefing, sharing all they had learned in Hueco Mundo. Kisuke's expression darkened. "A new Wang Xu caused the expansion of the Forest of Menos Grande? How? And why now of all times? Has the Xuye Palace done nothing to stop this?" He drifted into thought, eyes lowered, mind already spinning with calculations. "I'll need new data," he muttered, abruptly rising and vanishing toward his research lab, abandoning even his earlier interest in Nilu.

"I suppose that's my cue to leave," Moyu remarked, standing and stretching. "Time to check on the warehouse. Hopefully, the Menos haven't eaten God Wood."

Nilu, without hesitation, leapt into his arms with the ease of a child long practiced, snuggling close before waving goodbye to Yoruichi, who watched them disappear with narrowed eyes. "He's definitely straight... so why do I feel like trouble is chasing him?"

At the Shinigami stronghold, Moyu listened as Mikami Saiki nervously delivered his report. With his face bruised, bandaged, and bloodied, it was clear he'd taken a serious beating. "I was jumped by some regular Hollows," Mikami muttered, scratching his head. "But don't worry, I handled them in the end."

"Zaimu…" Moyu sighed, rubbing his temple. "I was gone a day. Just one day."

Mikami approached cautiously. Moyu raised his hand without a word, releasing a pulse of emerald Kaidō that enveloped Mikami in healing light. The advanced Reiatsu-removal technique worked instantly, sealing wounds and restoring vitality.

"Kaidō?!" Mikami gaped, stunned. "Master Moyu, you know healing too?"

"I'm from the Fourth Division," Moyu said flatly. "A logistics officer, remember?"

The words struck like lightning. Fourth Division? For someone this strong to be assigned to logistics—it shattered Mikami's mental image of him. He stared, stunned, as reality reassembled itself.

"Don't dwell on it," Moyu muttered. "Captain Yamamoto and Kuchiki Ginrei won't let me rot in the Fourth forever. Once this mission ends... I'll be reassigned. Probably even promoted." He sighed again. "So much for a quiet life."

A gurgling sound snapped his thoughts back. Nilu beamed up at him with innocent eyes. "Moyu, Nilu's hungry!"

"...Hungry?" He paused, assessing. "Your food source is other Hollows or spirit particles, isn't it?"

Nearby, Mikami flinched, instinctively recognizing the threat. Even without formal introduction, Nilu's Reiatsu screamed danger—Arrancar level.

Moyu caught the look. "Don't overthink it. Nilu's our companion. That's all you need to know."

"Yes, sir," Mikami replied quickly. Whatever doubts he had, he wouldn't question Moyu's choices.

"Stay here. I'll take her to eat." With that, Moyu offered his hand. Nilu grasped it eagerly, and together they stepped into the Karakura sky.

Gliding over rooftops, they swiftly tracked down and eliminated five Hollows, which Nilu devoured with practiced ease. Yet even after her meal, she rubbed her stomach and frowned. "Moyu… Nilu's still a little hungry…"

"You said that half an hour ago," Moyu muttered, ruffling her hair. But her pitiful gaze softened his irritation. "Fine. Let's find something stronger."

Before they could continue, a violent pressure slammed down from the heavens. A blast of wind tore through Karakura, slicing buildings with terrifying precision. Space warped. A black cavity split open mid-air, and from it emerged a towering figure wielding a double-crescent scythe. Reiatsu surged like a tidal wave, monstrous and oppressive, cracking the sky.

"I can smell you…" Nnoitra Gilga's one-eyed gaze gleamed with madness. "Your Reiatsu is close."

He made no attempt to conceal his presence—on the contrary, he amplified it recklessly, sending destructive ripples across the town. Buildings shattered beneath his feet as the crescent sickles lashed out without warning. His rampage had begun.

Back in the lab, Urahara Kisuke paused as the spiritual spike registered, eyes narrowing. "This one… is on a different level than the last Arrancar…"

Yoruichi was already moving, flash-stepping toward the chaos, though even her speed couldn't undo what was already in motion.

High above Karakura, two forces collided.

"I finally found you!" Nnoitra roared, standing atop the sky with bloodlust dripping from his blade, eyes locked on the small figure in Moyu's arms.

Moyu's gaze sharpened. "Nnoitra Gilga." Recognition was instant. From the Forest of Menos Grande to Karakura Town, he had followed Nilu across dimensions.

So that's it. He wants her.

Too bad.

"That's enough." Moyu's killing intent exploded outward, his Reiatsu flaring with deadly precision as he stepped between Nilu and the oncoming threat.

Nnoitra's gaze shifted. "Shinigami…?" He sneered, teeth bared. "Anyone in my way dies!"

The twin sickles came down in a vicious arc.

Thunder roared above Karakura Town.

"Then die!"
