"Too late for Fixer to go back for more explosives?" Sev asked weakly.
"I don't think a thermal detonator could even scratch this thing," Sam said in a flat tone.
"What the hell is that?" Scott yelled in shock. "It's bigger than a sarlacc!"
"How do we kill something like that?" Fixer shouted.
"I don't think we can," Boss said grimly.
The massive creature sniffed the air before turning to face the four clones, three Jedi, five Avengers, and lone informant, releasing a bone-rattling growl.
"I think it's noticed us," Fixer said with understated irony.
"No kidding!" Sam called out, spreading his wings again.
"Start thinking of solutions!" Steve yelled as the entire team scattered to avoid Gorog's enormous fist crashing down.
It struck the ground with such devastating force that the entire arena experienced a localized earthquake.
The group stumbled but thankfully managed to regain their footing.
"Take down that monster!" Boss roared, and immediately all four Delta Squad members unleashed their combined firepower at the colossal beast.
Sam flew around the creature's head, firing precision blasts at its eyes and sensitive areas.
Steve, T'Challa, Anakin, and Aayla maneuvered around its base, dodging the massive swipes Gorog was hurling at them.
"I wasn't expecting this when we came looking for you," Anakin said, running alongside Steve.
"Most missions never go according to plan," Steve pointed out. "Best not to overthink it."
"Behind us!" T'Challa called out, and all four looked back to see Gorog's other arm sweeping toward them.
Steve and T'Challa leaped up and landed on the massive hand before jumping clear, while Aayla and Anakin used Force-enhanced jumps to vault over the appendage.
Natasha observed from a distance, attempting to formulate some strategy but finding no obvious weaknesses.
She studied the creature and noticed multiple chains and restraint devices around its limbs that appeared to be remnants of containment systems.
There were several moments when Gorog tugged at some of the metal devices with obvious discomfort.
"Everyone, that thing still has restraint fragments attached," Natasha announced over comms. "Those might be our way to contain or even kill it."
Anakin spotted the restraints and quickly noticed they were anchored to two massive pillars. He studied the positioning and connections between hand and pillar.
"Aayla, help me with these restraints!" Anakin shouted, a plan rapidly forming.
"What? Why?" Aayla asked, watching Anakin sprint toward the furthest attachment point.
"Trust me!"
"Do it, Aayla," Steve encouraged, hurling his shield at Gorog's face. "We'll cover you both."
The two Jedi rushed forward, reached their respective pillars, leaped high, and launched coordinated lightsaber strikes at the restraint connection points. Their attacks began energizing the magnetic systems within the restraints. Suddenly, the shackles attached to Gorog began retracting toward their anchor points.
"Get its hands into the chains!"
Hearing this, the others quickly adapted and helped manipulate Gorog's positioning.
Sam flew overhead and activated his tactical controls, deploying several micro-drones from his wingsuit.
They flew directly at the monster's wrists, piercing its hide and using all their energy to help force one hand backward.
"Sam!" T'Challa called to him, his suit glowing purple with stored kinetic energy.
Sam immediately understood the Wakandan prince's intention and swooped down to grab Black Panther's outstretched hand.
He carried T'Challa high above the creature's head before releasing him. The enhanced prince struck Gorog's skull and rebounded as the stored kinetic energy stunned the beast momentarily.
Both Sev and Natasha used armor-piercing rounds from their rifles, repeatedly targeting the restraint mechanisms in hopes of triggering their magnetic systems. This proved moderately successful, though they had to constantly dodge incoming attacks.
Black Panther landed and absorbed the impact energy, his suit glowing brighter with accumulated kinetic force.
He rolled to his feet, positioning himself in front of Fixer and Vos just as Gorog's fist descended.
T'Challa struck upward with maximum force, releasing all his suit's stored energy in a blast sufficient to deflect the giant hand.
Both hands were eventually forced back to their restraint anchor points, locking them completely in place.
"Now hold its head down!"
"What?"
"Like this!" Anakin said, extending both arms and immediately channeling intense Force energy.
He gripped the beast's head telekinetically, but it was fighting to break free.
"Oh no, you don't," Skywalker hissed, applying greater Force pressure.
The task became manageable when Aayla joined her power to his. After a moment, Vos understood their strategy and added his own Force abilities.
They slowly brought the head down, though it continued resisting violently.
Then, from above, a tiny figure dropped onto Gorog's skull and landed precisely on target.
"Here we go, big guy!" said the miniaturized Scott. "Time to get acquainted with the ground!"
Scott delivered a full-power punch while expanding to normal size, attempting to drive the creature earthward. The restraints prevented full impact, so Scott continued striking repeatedly.
Unfortunately, his assault caused the restraint systems to overload and snap, freeing Gorog in the process.
"Oh, crap," Scott said as he was immediately flung away, hitting the ground hard and reverting to normal size.
Sev and Natasha rushed to assist him and check for serious injuries.
The others still faced Gorog, who was now roaring while beating his chest in challenge at his opponents below.
"Restraints are gone," Steve said grimly.
"Scatter!" Vos yelled, and everyone dispersed to avoid the massive fists crashing down.
Both fists struck empty space, but the impact force actually knocked several team members off their feet.
Sam remained airborne, firing continuously at the creature while Black Panther worked with Boss and Scorch, using accumulated kinetic energy to deflect Gorog's attacks.
Steve kept hurling his shield at the creature's face to maintain its attention, while the Jedi continued striking at its hands and arms with their lightsabers.
Gorog became increasingly unstable and began flailing its limbs destructively, devastating the surrounding area.
Debris flew everywhere as the arena began collapsing from the rampaging monster.
Gorog suddenly focused on Sam, swinging its massive arms wildly at the flying Avenger and destroying even more of the arena structure in the process.
