After the three dragons joined the guild, Caesar didn't stay long.
He left a spatial coordinate in the guild so he could return anytime if he went to the Northern Continent of Giltina.
After picking up the backpack Mirajane had prepared, Caesar kissed Mirajane goodbye and set off alone.
With a long teleportation, he traveled directly from the Kingdom of Fiore to the Northern Continent of Giltina.
After checking the map given to him with the quest, Caesar asked a local for directions.
After several teleportations, he arrived near the quest-assigning guild.
The first magic guild in history. Dragon of Magic Circles.
Snowflakes drifted from the sky.
Caesar raised his hand to catch them.
These were not ordinary snowflakes. They were large, visible crystals formed from the rich magic in the air.
Being able to see them meant he was near his destination.
"Arrive."
Caesar walked a little and saw a castle-like structure.
It was somewhat desolate and dilapidated.
A huge stone statue of a dragon with outstretched wings stood on top.
"It's really desolate. Only one person left."
Caesar muttered to himself.
He pushed open the door and went inside.
As soon as he entered the hall, he felt a powerful presence.
He looked up and saw a giant dragon crawling on the second floor.
"You've arrived, the 99th hero."
The dragon spoke to Caesar. "I am the magic dragon Elevseria. Grant my wish, magician."
"I don't like looking up when I talk. Can we change that?"
Caesar looked at Elevseria calmly. "Aren't you human? Why insist on a dragon form?"
"Call."
A burst of air shot out.
The giant dragon shrank rapidly, wrapped in a whirlwind.
When it cleared, an old man appeared.
He had a white beard, a mage's pointed hat, and a staff.
"We've been discovered."
Elevseria smiled slightly. "I am Elevseria, founder of this Magic Guild, the first leader of the Magic Array Dragon."
"Oh."
Caesar spoke calmly. He hadn't yet read the later parts of the century-long mission.
"Oh?!"
Elevseria became agitated. "At least give me a surprise! I've lived nearly two hundred years."
"I also have a young woman under my command who's over four hundred years old. Want to meet her?"
Caesar stared at Elevseria with deadpan eyes.
"Hmm… not impossible."
After a moment, Elevseria continued.
"Most challengers over the years have been men. So boring. If only there were a woman…"
"She could beat ten people like you without breaking a sweat."
"...Forget it."
Elevseria coughed and got back on track.
"Are you really ready for this mission? This century-long mission has failed 99 times. You can still back out."
"If I can't complete it, no one can."
Caesar unleashed a burst of infinite magic power.
He stretched out his palm, raised a finger, and said, "One punch is all I need to kill Acnologia."
The display of magic shocked Elevseria.
Then he laughed. "You're right. If you can't solve this, no one can."
He handed a parchment to Caesar.
"Sign first. This century-long mission must not be revealed. If you die, the client and Magic Council bear no responsibility."
"No problem."
Caesar picked up a pen and signed.
He handed the parchment back. "Now, tell me about the century-long mission."
"The content is simple."
Elevseria waved his hand. A crystal ball appeared.
Shadows of five giant dragons emerged inside.
"Seal all five dragons. The Five Divine Dragons of Giltina."
Elevseria sighed. "I learned Dragon Slayer Magic to deal with them. But each of these dragons is a god-level being. Destructive. Each as strong as Acnologia."
"But you came."
Caesar looked at Elevseria. "Right?"
"Exactly."
"This is the last request. The last hope."
"Leave it to me."
Caesar smiled slightly.
He asked Elevseria for information about the mission.
Even Elevseria didn't know much about the Five Divine Dragons.
He only knew about one. The water dragon, Melcofobia.
"Head southwest from the Barrelia region. There's a port city called Elmina. That city worshiped Melcofobia. You should find news there."
Caesar took the information. It was all he had.
He disappeared into the Demon Dragon Array building.
The century-long mission had begun.
Elmina, a port city.
Caesar flew quickly over the sea.
He overshot due to teleportation.
Finally, he arrived at the city.
A strong fishy smell hit him.
Buildings were covered in seaweed and moss. Damp.
"We've arrived."
Caesar's perception spread instantly.
He sensed a special dragon power.
"Found it. That was easy."
Caesar smiled.
Then he vanished in a flash.
In the palace of the Water Dragon God, he appeared in front of a girl wearing glasses.
"Excuse me. Is this where the Water God Dragon Melcofobia lives?"
The girl stared wide-eyed.
She exclaimed in disbelief, "Intruder!"
