Chapter 1 - Rainfall of Secrets

The rain poured like shattered glass, soaking the sleeping city. Neon signs flickered against the puddles, their colors bleeding into the dark alleys.

A broken signboard trembled in the wind:

"Osaka – Dotonbori District."

Underneath it, a lone man stood motionless in the rain, his trench coat drenched, his head bowed. Thunder cracked overhead.

From the silence of his thoughts, a voice echoed in his mind:

> "What have I become... In chasing revenge, I've reached a point of no return."

Suddenly, footsteps approached.

A voice, calm yet alert, called out from behind—

"Sir, we found him… Vikram."

The man slowly raised his head.

Vikram Mungal.

His eyes were dark, cold, and heavy with history.

"Where is he?" he asked.

"Exactly where you thought he'd be," Aryan said, pointing across the street.

Scene Shift — A muddy alley.

A man lay flat on the ground, coughing up blood, his face half-buried in the dirt. A boot crushed down on his mouth.

"Vikram… I'm your uncle. Why are you doing this…?"

But Vikram's expression was empty.

"Uncle? You killed my parents… for money."

"You've been lied to! I didn't—"

Vikram crouched, his voice now a dagger in the dark.

"I was in the car that night. I survived. I was just a kid… but I remember everything."

The man's eyes widened in panic.

"Your father… he was illegitimate! My father's bastard child! And I— I loved your mother. But that whore chose him! I wanted them dead, yes… but I didn't kill them!"

Lightning flashed across Vikram's face.

"Illegitimate? One-sided love? You think that justifies murder?"

A memory surged in Vikram's mind—

A five-year-old version of himself, flung from a moving car. Seconds later, an explosion. Flames. His mother screaming.

"You told someone... 'Good. They're finally out of the way.' I didn't understand it then. But now... everything is clear."

Vikram stepped forward, his voice calm.

"The question is—why were you hiding in this city? Who's protecting you?"

The man snapped.

"You little shit! You think you've won?! You've killed my men!"

CRACK!

Vikram kicked him in the ribs without flinching.

"Aryan," he called, eyes still locked on the broken man, "take him. Verify everything. Make sure he doesn't escape this time."

"Understood."

Inside the car.

Rain tapped against the windows. Aryan glanced at Vikram.

"Sir… where to next?"

"Back home. Grandfather isn't well."

"Want me to arrange the private jet?"

"No. I'll take a regular flight. No one must know I'm returning."

Aryan hesitated.

"Sir… should I come along?"

"Yes. You're the only one I trust."

They drove in silence.

Then Aryan asked,

"Was that man really… your uncle?"

Vikram looked out the window, eyes empty.

"By blood, maybe. But not by heart."

Scene Change — A Secret Research Lab, Location: Unknown.

Sirens flashed. The air was heavy.

A female agent spoke into a secure line:

"Sir… something's wrong with the Mysore Diamond. It's… reacting."

"Reacting how?

Like… a living presence inside it. Like the aura of a demon

The man on the line stood still.

Are you sure?

"Positive. Our scans show signs of movement. Something ancient. Something hungry

The man's voice dropped.

"I'll inform Sir D. If this gets out… it could destroy everything

He made a secure call.

Ring... Ring...

"Yes?" answered a cold, gravelly voice.

Sir D… we have a problem."

Speak

"The Mysore Diamond is reacting unnaturally. Researchers believe there's something alive inside it. Maybe demonic… maybe worse."

Sir D:

This is serious. I'll speak to the Royal Family immediately. This could affect global balance."

And place the facility on high alert. No one outside must know

Elsewhere – An underground vault.

Ancient runes glowed red.

Hundreds of demons stirred behind magical seals, clawing at the walls of reality.

And then... a whisper from the darkness:

They're starving. Not for food. But for chaos. And they're waiting…"

for his command."
