Giovanni patted Rhyhorn and instructed him, "Seal this place for now."
Rhyhorn nodded and used the Rock Blast move, of course, the kind that didn't detonate the boulders.
Stones fell one by one, completely sealing the cave.
After leaving the area, Nidorino couldn't wait to come out of his Poké Ball.
Giovanni, however, patted the Poké Ball and shouted to him, "No need to rush. I need to record this to publish an article."
Upon hearing this, Nidorino, although still incredibly excited, was no longer as impetuous and obediently stayed in his Poké Ball.
This was also a sign of his trust in Giovanni.
As for when Nidorino's evolution would be set, Giovanni planned to start preparing for Nidorino's evolution after completing his research on Yanmega.
Evolution is easy; with a Moon Stone, everything is simple.
This could actually be done as long as the camera had power.
However, once the research on the Evolution Stone was released, other types of Evolution Stone would be successively discovered by Researchers, and it would be more trouble than it was worth then.
What Giovanni needed was to first obtain a large number of Evolution Stone, preferably a treasure trove that could continuously produce them, like the cave behind.
And to form a unit for Team Rocket for each type of Pokémon.
Then Giovanni would prepare all the research on several types of Evolution Stone first, and then release it while others were still organizing.
By then, Giovanni would have both fame and wealth in his hands.
When Giovanni returned to the tribe, Havertz came to report to Giovanni:
"Boss Giovanni, everything has been cleared. There are no fish that escaped the net."
Giovanni looked at the piled-up, small heaps of bodily remains incinerated by Fire-type Pokémon.
He thought for a moment, then said, "Rest for a night. We will return tomorrow morning."
"Yes." Havertz dared not have the slightest objection. He had completely witnessed Giovanni's methods. To have such strength at this age, and to kill without batting an eye, was truly terrifying.
The next day.
After the night watch team reported that there were truly no fish that escaped the net returning, Giovanni led the team back.
Going back and forth, although it took four or five days.
But the base's location was not so easy to determine, so it hadn't been decided yet.
The first thing Giovanni did after returning was to find Matt.
Matt naturally wasn't worried about whether Giovanni would have problems; he just routinely asked:
"Boss Giovanni is back? How was the handling?"

Through the slight emotional changes on Matt's face, Giovanni guessed what he was thinking, and Giovanni casually said, "After all, it's a clan annihilation vendetta. If such people were kept by our side, there would still be risks. Even as suicide squad members, they would be somewhat lacking."
Matt nodded upon hearing this, "I understand."
He saw that Giovanni had no intention of leaving, so he asked, "Is there anything else?"
Giovanni also told Matt his thoughts.
"For the base's location, I think it could be placed where those wild tribes were. That location is deep in the island and has the jungle as cover; it's the best location."
He also added, "You can also ask Havertz. As your subordinate, he should know the process of establishing a base and can discern whether that location is suitable for a base."
Matt did not call Havertz in, but after thinking for a moment, he also felt that what Giovanni said made some sense, "Okay, I will report to the Boss."
Giovanni frowned, not expecting Matt to report to Madame Boss so quickly. Since that was the case, they might as well do it all at once.
"If it's not too much trouble, could I also have a call with my mother?"
Matt looked at Giovanni in surprise and readily agreed, "Of course, Boss Giovanni can use the phone anytime he wishes."

Madame Boss's voice came from inside, "Hello."

Giovanni quickly shook his head and replied, "I wouldn't dare. I know Mother is doing this for my own good, and Captain Matt here has also taken good care of me."
"Taking care of you, that's what he should do," Madame Boss said casually.
Then she continued, "You must have something you want to tell me, otherwise, Matt would be the one calling."
Giovanni answered truthfully:
"Yes, first, the Haunter of a thousand years on the island has been eliminated, and all threats on the island have been cleared."
Madame Boss on the other end said, "Eliminated? Not captured? Never mind, it doesn't matter. Has the base location been decided? You must be talking about that."
Madame Boss could always see through everything, even across a thousand or ten thousand miles.
Giovanni then continued, "You guessed correctly. The base's location, I think that location is good..."
Giovanni repeated what he had told Matt earlier.
Madame Boss on the other end immediately agreed, "Okay, anything else you want to say?"
Giovanni thought for a moment and told her everything about the Moon Stone, other Evolution Stone, Mt. Moon, and his ideas.
He could trust Madame Boss one hundred percent. Not only was this just a small amount of money for Madame Boss.
But also her absolute trust in Giovanni, which made Giovanni treat her the same way.
After listening, Madame Boss said to Giovanni:
"You did well; don't feel burdened. No matter who it is, in the midst of Benefit (gain), you need to maintain wariness."
Then she continued, "You can completely trust Matt. He won't be blinded by these gains. If you wish, Absol can stay with you all, just in case."
