The next morning inside Floatia, the Louds siblings, Lincoln's friends, and all their Digimon partners were at Meramon's restaurant, eating breakfast. Lily was feeding Nyaromon a spoonful of applesauce; Nyaromon suddenly began to glow. He hopped off the table and began to spin around.
"Nyaromon, Digivolve to..." said Nyaromon as he continued to spin until he became Bearmon.
"BEARMON!" shouts Bearmon.
"Welcome back, Bearmon." said Luan.
"It was so cool how you Digivolved to Pandamon and whooped Waru Monzaemon." said Lynn.
"I just couldn't let it harm our friends." replied Bearmon.
"Well, what are we going to do now?" asked Lynn as she ate.
"We should try to figure out how to use our artifacts." said Lori as she looks at the one on her wrist.
"And taking care of those energy beams holding the hole between our two worlds open." said Lisa.
"We should expect them to be guarded like Titamon's obelisks were." said Clyde.
"I wonder if anyone here in Floatia could use our help with something." asked Lana.
"There's a lot for us to focus on." said Gaomon.
"But for now, we should work on my sisters' artifacts in case they somehow run into some trouble." said Lincoln.
"Hello, children." Jijimon's voice says from nearby, making the kids and their partners look to see the elder Digimon walking over to them.
"Hi, Jijimon." Stella replied.
"What brings you here?" asked Zach.
"I always come here for the breakfast special." said Jijimon. "And I wanted to ask for some of your help with something."
"What did you need?" asked Kudamon.
"We're working on improving on some of the buildings here in Floatia, but we lack the materials required." said Jijimon.
"You want our help with that?" asked Gotsumon.
"In the mountains in the Nigh Plains is a large quantity of a material called DigiStone we can use in construction, and with the evil armies out there, our excavation crews could use some protection." said Jijimon.
"Pulsemon and I will come along." said Lynn Jr.
"Yeah, I can use a good workout." Pulsemon said as he does a few air jabs.
"Gotsumon could help also." said Zach.
"I guess a Digimon that's, literally, made of rock would know a thing or two about stone." said Lori.
"Who else wants to come along?" asked Jijimon.
"Me!" said Lana. "I like to dig."
"I'll go with you, Lana." said Betamon.
"I'll look into more areas of the Digital World you can find some while you all are in the Nigh Plains." said Jijimon.
"Let's go then." said Lynn Jr as she, Lana, Zach, and their Digimon partners headed for Floatia's front gate.
"The rest of us will stay here in case an attacking army shows up." said Lincoln.
"Good idea, buddy." said Clyde.
At the front gate, Zach sees several Drimogemon hanging around near it; some had harnesses attached to wagons behind them.
"Are those Drimogemon like we saw in Lincoln's journal?" asked Lana.
"Yes they are." said Zach. "They must be the excavation team that Jijimon told us about."
"You humans and your partners ready to go?" asked a Drimogemon.
"Lead the way." replied Lynn Jr.
The group leaves Floatia and heads out into the Nigh Plains; when they see a decent-sized section of mountain, the Drimogemon began drilling into it.
"How long do you think this will take?" asked Lynn.
"That depends on how quickly we find some DigiStone." said Drimogemon.
"Hey, I found some!" a Drimogemon yells out.
"Over here also." said another Drimogemon.
"I can help with this." said Lynn as she grabs a large chunk of the excavated material and tosses it into one of the wagons. Pulsemon also chips in and helps to get an upper body workout.
As the group continues digging, somewhere underneath the ground they're all standing on, all the noise they were making gets the attention of a large bipedal Digimon made of brown rocks, with white crystals on its hands, face, chest, and two large ones sticking up out of its back; around its head was a fiery mane.
"What is that racket?!" the Digimon asked.
Back on the surface, Zach, Lynn, Lana, and their Digimon partners were continuing to toss DigiStone, with Lynn tossing in much larger pieces with Pulsemon, into the wagons.
"We'll have enough in no time at this rate." said a Drimogemon as it continues drilling into some of the cliffside; Drimogemon's drills hit something that causes a loud shout to ring out.
"WHO DID THAT?!" a loud voice asked, making everyone look at where it was coming from; suddenly, a large part of the cliffiside explodes before the Digimon that was being disturbed, emerges from a large hole that appeared when it burst through.
"What's that Digimon?" asked Lana; Zach holds out his artifact and points it at the new Digimon.
"That's Gogmamon." said Zach. "Ultimate Level, Ore Type, Vaccine Attribute; its special attack is Giant Grater."
"That's one rock solid-looking Digimon." said Pulsemon.
"How dare you disturb me!" shouts the Digimon, now identified as Gogmamon.
"I think we woke it up." said Zach.
"Boy, it looks pretty mad." said Lana.
"No problem." said Lynn. "We can take it." She, Zach, and Lana push the buttons on their artifacts and their parnter Digimon begin to spin.
"Gotsumon, Digivolve to..." said Gotsumon as he kept on spinning until he became Golemon.
"...GOLEMON!" shouts Golemon.
"Pulsemon, Digivolve to..." said Pulsemon as he continued spinning until he became Bulkmon.
"...BULKMON!" shouts Bulkmon.
"Betamon, Digivolve to..." said Betamon as he kept spinning until he became Dinohyumon.
"...DINOHYUMON!" shouts Dinohyumon.
The three Champion Level partner Digimon charged at Gogmamon.
"Golem Punch!" shouts Golemon as he punches Gogmamon's chest, making it stumble back.
"Giant Grater!" shouts Gogmaon as it drives its crystal arms into Golemon, knocking him to the ground.
"Thunder Dread!" shouts Bulkmon as he fires electricity from his horn at Gogmamon, hitting it in the chest, but not doing much damage.
"Curse Refraction!" shouts Gogmamon as it fires beams of energy from the crystals on its back and they hit Bulkmon, knocking him to the ground.
"Akinakes!" shouts Dinohyumon as he charges at Gogmamon while pulling his large sword out from his back and he slashes Dogmamon across the chest, leaving a large scratch on it.
"How dare you!" shouts Gogmamon. "Curse Refraction!" Gogmamon fires beams of energy out of his back crystals. Dinohyumon uses his large sword to shield himself, but the force of Gogamon's attack sends Dinohyumon flying back while dropping his sword, and he lands on the ground.
"Are you all right, Dinohyumon?" asked Lana while trying to run to him, only to be held back by Lynn.
"I'm fine, Lana." replied Dinohyumon as he gets back on his feet.
"You won't feel fine when I'm done with you!" shouts Gogmamon. It then sees Golemon and Bulkmon charging at it.
"Core Electricial Fist!" shouts Bulkmon as a powerful surge of electricity surrounded his fist and he uppercuts Gogmamon with it, making it stumble back.
"Powerful Punch!" shouts Golemon as energy surrounded his fist and he punches Gogmamon across the face with it, knocking it to the ground.
"Yeah! How'd you like that, chump?!" asked Lynn. Gogmamon gets back on its feet.
"I didn't." said Gogmaon.
"Too bad." said Zach.
"Take this guy out." said Lynn.
"You got it." said Bulkmon before he and Golemon charged at Gogmamon.
"Giant Grater!" shouts Gogmamon as it drives its crystal arms into Golemon and Bulkmon's chests, sending them flying into the ground.
"You guys okay?!" asked Zach.
"We'll be fine, Zach." said Golemon as he and Bulkmon struggle to get back up.
"Not for long!" shouts Gogmamon. "Curse Refraction!" Gogmamon fires beams of energy at Golemon and Bulkmon, hitting them; they return to their Rookie Forms.
"Oh man, this is not good." said Zach. Gogmamon lumbered towards Gotsumon and Bulkmon.
"Now to grind you two fools into the ground!" shouts Gogmon as it raises up its crystal arms.
"I will not let that happen!" shouts Dinohyumon who's large sword was back on his back while charging at Gogamon. "Lizard Dance!" He slashes Gogmamon with the blade on his left arm, then the blade on his right arm; he takes his large sword from his back and does a diagonal slash across Gogmamon's chest, making it stagger back.
"You will not live to regret that!" shouts Gogmamon. "Giant Grater!" He drives his crystal arms into Dinohyumon, knocking him to the ground while his large sword flies out of his hands and lands far from him.
"Dinohyumon!" shouts Lana as he runs to Dinohyumon.
"Lana, stay back." said Dinohyumon, making Lana stop. Dinohyumon begins to crawl to his sword, but Gogmamon steps on Dinohyumon's back, stopping him.
"For the damage you caused me, Dinohyumon, you'll be the first to be destroyed." said Gogmaon as he raises his crystal arms up.
"DINOHYUMON!" shouts Lana as she runs over to her partner; as she does, her artifact starts to glow.
"Lana, your artifact!" Zach says, drawing the mud-loving Loud sister's attention to her artifact.
"Does this mean that..." Lana begins to say before she sees one of the buttons on her artifact was glowing brightly.
"It's time." Zach says. Lana smiles before she pushes the glowing button on her artifact, causing a bright light to flare from Dinohyumon.
"My eyes!" shouts Gogmamon as it stumbles back blindly; Dinohyumon begins to spin around.
"Dinohyumon, Digivolve to..." Dinohyumon begins to say before a green flare that resembles a dragon encircles him; the flare rises up as Dinohyumon vanishes and it turns into a black serpent dragon with gold frills on the sides of its head with matching face plate and talons, a red underbelly, metallic-looking scales, an orange orb in its right hand and a green one in his left one.
"HISYARYUMON!" the newly Digivolved Dinohyumon shouts out.
"Dinohyumon Digivolved to Ultimate!" said Zach. Lana holds out her artifact and points it at her Digivolved partner.
"That's Hisyaryumon!" said Lana. "Ultimate Level, Beast Dragon Type, Vaccine Attribute; his special attack is Legenary Dragon Blade!"
"Awesome!" said Lynn.
"I'll bet I'll look cooler when I turn Ultimate." said Pulsemon. After Gogmamon regained its eyesight, it looks to see Hisaryumon.
"I'll grind you to Digi-dust!" shouts Gogmamon. "Giant Grater!" It charges at Hisyaryumon.
"Heavenly Dragon Crystal Sphere!" shouts Hisyaryumon as he throws the crystal orbs he was holding at Gogmaon and they hit it, knocking it back.
"Curse Refraction!" shouts Gogmamon as it begins charging energy on the crystals on its back.
"All-directional Wheel!" shouts Hisyaryumon as it holds out his hands and the orbs flashed. Gogmamon was suddenly inside a cube made of energy; it then explodes, sending Gogmamon flying and it crashes onto the ground. Gogmamon slowly gets back up and turned towards Hisyaryumon.
"I'll destroy you!" shouts Gogmamon. "Giant Grater!" He began charging towards Hisyaryumon.
"Legendary Dragon Blade!" shouts Hisyaryumon as he spins vertically until his body formed a circle; he flies towards Gogmamon and slices through it. Gogmaon stood with a shocked look on his face until he splits in two and both halves disintegrated.
"Yeah!" cheered Lana.
"That was amazing!" said Gotsumon.
"I'll be sure to draw Hisyaryumon in Lincoln's journal, Lana." Zach says to Lana.
"Thanks." said Lana. Hisyaryumon De-Digivolves back into Pukamon. Lana runs to him and hugs him. "You were so great, Pukamon."
"Thank you, Lana." replied Pukamon.
"Come on; let's get back to work." said Lynn.
The Drimogemon all continue their work until they completely filled the wagons with DigiStone. Everyone then heads back to Floatia to deliver the material they excavated.
"This is very good quality DigiStone." Jijimon says as he inspects what Lynn's group brought back. "We should be able to improve on the outer wall with this."
"And it's so awesome that Betamon Digivolved to Ultimate." said Clyde.
"Try and give me a good description of Hisyaryumon so I can draw him in my journal." said Lincoln.
"Sure thing." Lana replied.
Lana's partner has Digivolved to Ultimate and defeated Gogmamon. What other adventures await the group as they work towards closing the hole between the two worlds? Wait and find out.
