"I'm sorry. I'm so sorry. I wasn't looking," Eva apologized immediately, eyes wide, cheeks already warming with embarrassment.
"It's okay. I wasn't looking either," the man said, crouching to pick up his files that had scattered on the floor. "I'm Raj. Are you new here?"
She gave a small nod, still slightly out of breath from the collision. "Yeah, I'm the new media manager. First day."
He nodded approvingly. "Oh, I'm the tech guy. I guess that means I'll be the one fixing your laptop every time it crashes."
Eva laughed softly, finally relaxing a little. "Nice to meet you, Raj."
"Sure…yeah…see you around," he replied, giving her a short, awkward wave as she walked away.
