Maki busted most of the back door and wall of the furniture store to find Damion at a distance in the alley.
"You could've fit through the door, you're not that big," he remarked.
"Did you bring us back here so your friends don't see you die??" Maki grunted.
"It looks like Alloy had the power to defeat you." He ignored him, drawing back his bow.
"You kid yourself, if she couldn't die by my hands, she will by Spire's." He replied, readying his fists. His silver knuckles gleaming against the moonlight that shone faintly in the alley.
"So that means when I defeat you, you're weaker than both of us??"
"You can't beat me!!" He shouted as he bolted, leaving a small cloud of dust at his feet, Damion shot his arrow, however, Maki lunged to the air, the arrow managed to hit his foot, but he ignored it and landed to punch Damion. He dodged, but he still used the attack, he extended his right hook and cracked the ground to try to catch Damion off balance.
"What?!" Damion reacted as the violent vibrations forced him to stagger a bit, he tried to regain his balance, but he instantly took a punch to the gut. It didn't throw him, it just hurt as he clutched it and went down as he coughed.
"You can't win with arrows alone." Maki jeered.
"Really??" Damion asked as he struggled to get back up.
"Those punches of yours really pack a punch. I was right to dodge them…"
"You haven't felt the full extent of my power yet!!" he taunted as he moved back.
He let Damion get up for them to have their second round. After also stepping back a few feet, Damion drew again, but this time, the flames were more, so were the arrows, he shot them all at once, Maki saw this and as desperate an attack it was, he countered by using his shields. The arrows hit the entire shield leaving a few to pass through on the ends of its perimeter. Damion smiled as it confirmed his theory that Maki's shield had a range as well as a length, and he had found just how long the length was, so now, he had a chance, and took a risk as well. He readied himself again, took one of Ritta's steel arrows straight from his belt loop, and drew it back. Upon shooting it, Maki made a remark, "I'm tired of these games. You can't pierce through my shield."
Just then, the air whistled as the steel arrow made its way to Maki's face, at least, five centimeters from it. He watched the arrow with his whole being as his life flashed before his eyes. He however, noticed the arrow that was similar to the one Ritta shot earlier on, he gripped it and broke it.
"If this is the ace up your sleeve, you're in trouble. I can't believe a weakling like you is the boss' younger brother." he barked.
"I can't believe it either." Damion replied.

Spire grunted as the lower part of his coat hung on the ground with the sound of his metal daggers clanging as they dragged on the ground. His right hand on his center torso, breathing heavily from the attack that just slashed him diagonally upward form his lower gut to his upper chest… and right next to the gleaning amber necklace that Alloy managed to miss. Blood dripped from different parts of the cut, the linen shirt he wore was soaked with blood on the cut areas, making the dark blue a soaked purple on the ends of his exposed torso. He looked up at the girl whose narrowed eyes were ready for their next confrontation. In his eyes, her stamina had barely moved from when she caught her breath.
He stood up, his face twisted in anger, he raised his left arm, taking off his coat which turned into dead weight from its new dragging feature and charged at Alloy with his final but main weapons, his two steel daggers that were now clear enough to be seen, he gripped their bone-handled blades and grunted. With his confidence gained back, he used swift and agile jabs, trying to throw Alloy off balance but she parried and weaved through them all, what she didn't expect, was him to switch moves in-between. He flipped his right dagger, making it adjacent to his outer wrist, and ducked for a low attack, cutting Alloy's upper ankle.
She winced in pain as she jumped back to try reading the situation, but Spire had no intention of letting her gain anything else to get the upper hand, he followed, closing the distance then vaulted just as close to her with a thrust from his left dagger, forcing Alloy to hold up her left sword in an effort to block it, however, as soon as Spire landed, he followed it up with a slash on Alloy's stomach. His efforts were nullified once more since Alloy's right sword was right on her torso's defense, parrying both attacks successfully, she managed a back flip with one conclusion. 'Without his throwing daggers, Spire's clearly better in close range attacks.' Her next move had to be immediate. So, upon landing on the grass, she roared,
"闇波 (Yaminami) - Dark Wave!!"
Alloy gripped both of her shadow katanas, positioning them adjacent to her back as the darkness around them deepened. The twin blades pulsed with an overwhelming void-like energy, their shadows growing darker and denser. In a single decisive motion, she swung both swords forward, unleashing a massive, surging wave of pure shadow. The wave engulfed everything in its path, taking the grass, a few gravestones and a couple of the undead while it crashed toward her opponent with crushing force. Spire's eyes sharpened as he began making swift movements with his feet and he, as well, invoked a special move of his own to counter Alloy's.
"旋刃 Senjin (Twirling Blade)"
His body became a blur as he spun at incredible speed, his blades slicing through the air in rapid succession. When the dark wave finally crashed upon him, his relentless spinning allowed his blades to tear through the surging shadow, cutting the attack apart as the fragmented darkness scattered around him. However, when he stopped, Alloy had already roared another Dark Wave into life that already crashed its way right in front of him.
"ARE YOU KIDDING ME??!!" He uttered.
