"What? What do you mean?" Beta Benjamin asked, facing me once more.
"I'll return to the hotel first thing tomorrow morning. She's your daughter; you should listen to her. I also don't want any more trouble," I said.
"What?" Madison huffed, appearing baffled by my words.
"No... No, you can't leave." Beta Benjamin left Madison and began to approach me. When I saw this, I started moving away, pretending that I was leaving. He caught up with me and stopped me at the start of the stairs.
"Linda!" He called my name and took hold of my right hand.
"Sir," I kept my gaze down.
"What are you saying? What do you mean you'll leave? You've only just arrived."
"Forgive me," I apologized, lowering my head. "I really wanted to stay with you; I wanted to remain by your side..." I settled my gaze on him and resumed crying.
