Chapter 2 - Chapter 1: Garp as a Father

"'Let me tell you something, being a child again sucks, but do you know what sucks even more? Having Garp as your father. Man, I can't believe Luffy ever survived his training routine, and this bitch of a father has the nerve to laugh at me,' Garm thought as he looked at the dumb face his father was making while laughing.

"Why are you not standing up? Don't tell me you're done. Is this the extent of your strength, Garm?" Garp said, provoking Garm to rise. Garp knew how strong his son was, and he also knew how to push him to grow stronger, just like he did with his older grandson, who trained alone in the mountains.

"Do you think you could make me surrender, old man?" Garm replied, which angered Garp. Being called "old man" was something he couldn't stand.

"DIDN'T I SAY TO CALL ME FATHER, YOU UNGRATEFUL BRAT!!!" Garp roared before punching Garm with enough strength to kill a normal pirate in the New World. Garp was confident Garm could survive it, thanks to the boy's innate toughness—something that surprised even Garp, who began suspecting Garm might resemble a certain famous pirate roaming the seas.

The two clashed violently, exchanging punches without dodging. Garm was getting beaten down by Garp. After more than two hours of sparring, Garm finally collapsed, wheezing from exhaustion. Garp stopped, satisfied with his son's growing strength.

"You're becoming stronger. Good, good. Strength is one of the requirements to become a great Marine," Garp said, nodding to himself.

"What Marine? I'd rather be a pirate. Then I'd beat you up until you can't stand anymore, old man," Garm replied.

That earned him two consecutive, full-force punches that made him pass out immediately.

"Ahhh, I guess I took it too far," Garp muttered, laughing at his clumsiness. His adjutant stood nearby, shocked after witnessing Garp knock out his son with a punch strong enough to drop even a seasoned Marine veteran.

"Garp-san, don't you think that was a little too far? What if he doesn't wake up?" Bogard asked, visibly concerned.

"Don't worry. I know my son's capabilities better than anyone. He'll be fine after eating. Anyway, let's hunt some food," Garp replied, laughing as he ran off into the forest, leaving Bogard standing beside the unconscious Garm, unsure of what to do.

Eventually, Bogard decided to follow Garp, using his Observation Haki to monitor Garm. Once he confirmed the boy wasn't in danger, he continued after the old Vice Admiral.

Garm was originally just an ordinary person living on Earth—until one strange night, everything changed.

It began with an online CYOA (Choose Your Own Adventure) survey that he stumbled upon. Thinking it was just for fun, Garm casually answered the questions. The first option was about choosing a timeline; he chose to be born seven years younger than Monkey D. Dragon. When asked about lineage, he chose to be Dragon's half-brother, not caring who his mother was, leaving it to random—his only condition was to be raised by Garp, thinking it would be "awesome."

For his cheats, he got creative. He selected to be an OC Seraphim-like creature, engineered from the genes of both Monkey D. Garp and Marshall D. Teach (Blackbeard)—granting him the potential to eat three Devil Fruits, immense physical durability, and overwhelming strength. On top of that, he chose to be extremely compatible with any Devil Fruit he consumed, and to inherit Garp's natural talent and potential as part of his genetic makeup. For his starter Devil Fruit, he left it up to random chance, just to spice things up. Then he hit "Send," laughed to himself, and went to sleep.

When he woke up, everything was different.

The room was unfamiliar—far too old-fashioned, far too quiet—and not his home. Panic set in. But slowly, pieces of information began to settle in his mind. Memories... or rather, implanted knowledge. The realization hit hard: he had been isekai'd into the One Piece world.

Worse still, he was a baby. Just as he was struggling to comprehend it all, a calm voice echoed in his head—a system, or perhaps the very force that had brought him here—informing him that his starter Devil Fruit would appear when he was five years old.

Upon hearing this, Garm's mind raced. He quickly realized that all of his survey answers had become reality. That meant he truly was a hybrid created from the genes of Monkey D. Garp and Marshall D. Teach (Blackbeard). He had inherited Blackbeard's unique ability to consume more than one Devil Fruit, as well as Garp's legendary physical talent and potential.

And that wasn't all.

He could feel it deep within his body—his bones, his skin, even in the rhythm of his heartbeat. The enhancements were undeniable. He wasn't just human anymore. He was something far more powerful: a Seraphim, augmented with the Lunarian race's traits.

But unlike the standard model, his enhancements were customized. In exchange for his wings and the ability to generate sacred flames, those energies had been redirected—sacrificed to further enhance his other traits. His durability, physical strength, reflexes, and regeneration were pushed far beyond what even Lunarians or Seraphim typically possessed.

Garm woke up just under two hours after being knocked out by Garp's somewhat serious punch. His body had already begun to recover—thanks to his enhanced resilience—and now he just needed food to refuel the rest of his strength.

As he stood up, he spotted Garp and Bogard returning from the forest, hauling an absurd amount of fruits and wild boars between them. At that moment, his stomach growled loudly—a clear sign that he had inherited Garp's monstrous appetite. Maybe it was a quirk of the Will of D., but Garm chalked it up to his father's genes.

Without wasting a second, Garm bolted toward them, eyes locked on the food. He didn't care what they brought back—he just knew he was starving.

Garp looked up and saw his son running toward them, fully recovered and eager to eat. He grinned from ear to ear. "Knew it. Tough as nails," he muttered proudly.

Bogard, on the other hand, was stunned. His eyes widened in disbelief as Garm charged in like he hadn't just been KO'd by a punch that could send a marine officer to the hospital. For someone who was unconscious not long ago, the kid looked more energetic than ever.
